Perdão de Ação de Graças / Forgiveness of Thanksgiving /

1 João 1:1-10
…o sangue de Jesus, seu Filho,
nos purifica de todo pecado. —1 João 1:7
Ezequiel 22–23
1 Pedro 1
*
A Bíblia diz: “…o salário do pecado é a morte…” (Romanos 6:23).

1 John 1: 1-10
... the blood of Jesus, your Son,
cleanseth from all sin. — 17 1 John:
Ezekiel 22 – 23
1 Peter 1

Every year, in late November, the President of the United States of America gives an official pardon for the Peru national Thanksgiving. During this joyous ceremony, a President mentioned: "Our guest of honor looks a little nervous. No one has yet told him that I'll grant a pardon. " The poor peru had a good reason to be uneasy — without an acquittal, he was doomed to be Thanksgiving dinner.
We are in a similar situation as regards our sin. Without forgiveness from God, we are on the way to certain death. This condition is the direct result of our own transgression. The Bible says: "… the wages of sin is death …" (Romans 6:23). However, we can be freed of this death sentence because the son of God took our sins upon his body on the cross, "… for us, dead to sin, live for righteousness; by his wounds you were healed "(1 Peter 2:24). The verse 1 John 1: 7 tells us that the blood of Jesus "… cleanseth from all sin."
We can accept the forgiveness of God for our sins and receive eternal life when we confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10: 9). Today, consider how you will react to offer forgiveness of God.
Through faith in Christ, we receive God's forgiveness and rid ourselves of the penalty for sin.

O Mundo do Mais / The world of More / Мир больше

Romanos 5:1-11
Nem olhos viram […] o que Deus
 tem preparado para aqueles que
 o amam. —1 Coríntios 2:9
Ezequiel 20–21
Tiago 5
*
Pertencer a Deus traz bênçãos ilimitadas.

Romans 5: 1-11
Neither eyes saw […] what God
has prepared for those who
love him. — 1 Corinthians 2: 9
Ezekiel 20-21

My cable TV operator sent a postcard inviting me to know their latest improvements in the channels offered. The card indicated that I needed to contact the company to get the new digital equipment necessary, and explained how to install and activate it. Then, the announcement said that I only needed to "sit and enjoy the world of More".
The card made me think about the "world of More" in which Christians have the privilege of living. When God withdraws people from darkness of sin "… for his marvellous light" (1 Peter 2: 9), a brand-new life opens.
Romans 5 brings us some of the "more" that we have in Christ: we were "… reconciled to God by the death of his son …" (v. 10) and therefore we must "… peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" (v. 1). We have access to God and his grace (v. 2). Rejoice in tribulation is now possible because we understand that this is an opportunity for growth of our character by confidence in him (vv. 3-4). Additionally, the Holy Spirit, that we were able to live in us, pours the love of God in our hearts (v. 5). And Sin no more in holds (6:18).
As Christians, we have unlimited access to a true "world of More". Wouldn't it be selfish not to invite others to join us in this world special?
Belong to God brings blessings unlimited.

Gratidão silenciosa / Silent gratitude /

Salmo 107:31-43
Rendei graças ao Senhor, porque ele é bom […]
Digam-no os remidos do Senhor… —Salmo 107:1-2
Ezequiel 18–19
Tiago 4
*

Psalm 107: 31-43
Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good […]
Tell on the redeemed of the Lord ... — Psalm 107: 1-2
Ezekiel 18 – 19
James 4
*
The reason for gratitude is to allow the presenter to know how much you appreciate something. The author g. b. Stern said: "silent Gratitude doesn't have much useful to someone."
When our son was younger, sometimes it needed to be reminded that avoid eye contact, look for the feet and mumble some words unintelligible wasn't a "Thanks" acceptable. And, after many years of marriage, my husband and I are still learning that is important to continuously expressing our gratitude to each other. When one of us feels appreciated, we try to verbalize this — even already having said the same in many other similar occasions. William Arthur Ward said: "Feel gratitude and not expressing it is how to wrap a present and not give it."
Demonstrate our gratitude is obviously important in human relations, but even more essential in our relationship with God. When we think about the many blessings we receive, we express our gratitude to him throughout the day? And when we think of the wonderful gift of his death and resurrection by the forgiveness of our sins, our hearts overflow with joy and Thanksgiving? (Romans 6:23; 2 Corinthians 9:15).
Place daily in his heart the reminder of Psalm 107: 1: "Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good ..."!
The greatest gift of God must do touch on our deepest gratitude.
