Promessa / Promise

Promessa
Leitura bíblica:
_________________
Agora, Senhor, cumpriste a promessa que fizeste... (Lucas 2.29, NTLH)
_________________

Promise

Now, Sir, you have fulfilled the promise made ... (Luke 2.29, NLT)

Simeon may not was someone very visible in society nor occupy an important position, but stood out for his devotion to God, which is worth much more. We don't know what he was doing, that family would, if he had children. But the Bible says the primary: hung out with God and was directed by his spirit. Sought above all the will of God to fulfill it in your life. And in that fellowship with God had received the promise that wouldn't die without seeing the Messiah (Jesus) sent by God to reconcile the people with him. There is no way of knowing how long had received this promise – perhaps I did a few years ago, but the fact is that Simeon was still firm and trusting God. His lifestyle was in fidelity to the Lord, and so he could see the promise fulfilled that received.
What's driving your life? Would be their own desires, their pleasures, their desire to conquer, to stand out in the professional or social area, or you are really being driven by the spirit of God? Every time we see God's will in a decision, we are already run by ourselves. God has big promises for your life, but to find out what you should get him, as well as Simeon sought and persistent in live according to the Divine direction for him.
By trying to live this way, Simeon lived in tune with the Lord. His greatest desire was to see that that would restore the favor of God for his people. What has been your dream and urge deeper? What is the promise that you want God to do? Something that satisfies your ego or view Jesus operating and acting in your life and the people around you? If you want to receive God's promises and wishes that they fulfil, adjust your focus on Jesus, is directed by the Holy Spirit, pine for what matters to God and persevere in the faith in the Lord. Desejos / Wishes

Desejos
Leitura bíblica:
_________________
Agrada-te do Senhor, e ele satisfará os desejos do teu coração (Salmo 37.4).
_________________

Todos nós temos desejos. Desejamos saúde, prosperidade, conquistas e muitas outras coisas.

Wishes
Bible reading:
_________________
You like of the Lord, and he will satisfy the desires of your heart (Psalm 37.4).
_________________
We all have desires. We wish you health, prosperity, achievements and many other things. Some seek to attain the object of his desires through its own work and effort; others resort to illicit means or even the spiritual beings or cosmic forces.
Have desires and aspirations is not wrong – is human. Jesus himself felt free to tell Dad what you wished (for example, Matthew 26.39, when asked to be spared of death). He knew he could open his heart to God and would not be rejected by it. That's what he teaches his disciples in reading text. What differentiates the attitude of Jesus is its complete submission to the Father, and that's where the featured verse: he makes it clear that his priority was the will of God, and not his own. That's the key: be happy in the Lord.
However, as we are human, our desires often are intended to satisfy our selfishness. Therefore, the Bible tells us in James 4.3: "when they ask, do not receive, because they ask for the wrong reasons, to spend it on your pleasures." That means our desires should be in harmony with the principles of God. God always has the best for their children, and won't give us anything detrimental to our spiritual life, anything that will disrupt our relationship with him.
Our God is our eternal father and is faithful to his promises, but requires of his sons fidelity, exclusivity in worship and obedience to his commandments. Who so proceeds can be sure has a good relationship with our Heavenly Father, and that this will help target and achieve your desires. In this case, we will experience that it not only satisfies our wishes, but has the power to do much more than we can imagine (check out Ephesians 3.20). (MNL)

A Suprema Dádiva / The Ultimate Gift

A Suprema Dádiva
Leitura bíblica:
_________________

The Ultimate Gift

God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3.16).

This is the story lovelier than ever has been told – the coming of Jesus Christ. She is exposed in the New Testament and is being continuously retold through carols, narrations and scenarios. Was creating a Web around the world, and we can see how the mighty hand of God has prepared various scenarios, driving his presentation in different ways.
The shepherds were humble men, but they came and reported the news. Educated men, rich and wise men came from the East "following the Star" that led them to the place where Jesus was born. Here are the extremes of society finding themselves in the presence of Jesus Christ and participating in the blessing of God to all peoples of the Earth. The birth of Jesus became brother the rich and wise to the poor and humble, so that together if to be cheerful by redemption in Christ, worshiping and serving the Savior. In Christ, men everywhere can unite in fraternal communion and it is possible to make an idea of what humanity would win if we see good in men around the world, although we think in different ways. Browse show what could be if we all accept the plan of God. The world would be highly benefited if humans look like brothers rather than as rivals and enemies.
When you think about it, we were surprised to see how we have taken advantage of this gift of the Lord. Such different people, with different habits and customs, have richer perspectives on life and blessed if they share experiences, distribute wealth and experience this love we have received from God. The acceptance of this gift from God by men would change completely the entire panorama. Is this an impossible dream? (EOL)

In Christ we are all one – live this love.
