Amor de Deus / Love of God

Amor de Deus
Leitura bíblica:
_________________
Portanto, ele pertence a Deus.
Ele ama o mundo, as pessoas, a mim e a você.

Love of God
Bible reading:
_________________
So we know the love of God for us and we trust that love. Whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him. (1 John 4.16)
_________________
The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts. The Christian must always remember that, thanks to Jesus Christ, he belongs to God because it poured love in your heart. The love of God is inside of the Christian: was the Holy Spirit who deployed there and sealed with this love. Therefore, it belongs to God. And proof that the love of God is present in your life is that Jesus gave his life to make this possible.
When we speak of love poured out in our hearts, we don't think in human love – that somebody expressed as "I want, I need, I wish you, because without you I'm not complete". Is not this love that Paul refers to, but the love whose source is God himself. He loves the world, the people, me and you. He is the source of love which gives itself and the Holy Spirit to the one who believes in Jesus Christ. And when the Christian understands that there's this love poured into your heart, it passes to love without relying on the other person's response. Each one who experiences love d God is able to be with those who are around you. The love of God shed abroad in our hearts means that we don't need to wait for the other person to fill with thoughts of love towards us. We have the choice to think and act with love towards the next. We break down the circle of our preference to show love to all, even to his enemies. We know the love that God has for us and we trust him. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him. In love, so there is this reciprocity. And this is the condition that we reach the next. We must, then, be thankful to God for this wonderful gift poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.

Pensamento / Thought

Pensamento
Leitura bíblica:
_________________

Thought
Bible reading:
_________________
Where are the wars and contentions among you? Do not come from the passions that war within you? (James 4.1)
_________________
Some people speak of the power of thought, that he can make things happen, as if it were magic. This has generated a lot of discussion, but there's something that you can't help but recognize: what we think generates mental predisposition and leaves you ready for action. In other words, all, in a way, schedule in advance our mind to the type of action that we want to practice.
I like the expression "be aware". Despite being little used, I think she's very rich means being alert, ready for action. The Scriptures also value the thought-keep the mind perceived.
Opportunities of all sorts appear all the time. If my mind is perceived for opportunities to make money, this is what will be in readiness. If you fantasize about sexual impurity and immorality, have no doubt that the opportunities will arise and I, properly known, Act first and think later.
The mind can only think about one thing at a time. If you are full of what has the potential to destroy, certainly will produce destruction. If on the other hand I meet the biblical recommendation in Philippians 4.8 and occupy your mind with things true, noble, right, pure, lovely, of good fame, worthy of praise, I have perceived for the good mind, and on the different opportunities almost automatically reject what you don't want to and enjoy the opportunities to perform what I prepared to do-good.
For this reason it is so important to separate time to read Scripture and meditate on them, take advantage of every opportunity to receive instruction in the word, hanging out with people who take God seriously, knowing that if it's vulnerable to keep filling his eyes and his mind with it.

What fills your mind determines how you react.

Fidelidade / Fidelity

Fidelidade
Leitura bíblica:
_________________

Fidelity
Bible reading:
_________________
Faithful God, which is called to fellowship with his son Jesus Christ our Lord (1 Corinthians 1.9).
_________________
The stories that the Bible tells about Abram (or Abraham, as he is better known) are a series of challenges to his trust in God. Reading today shows one of them: old and childless, Abram should believe that would generate a great people and that would own the land where I was – and that on occasion. The model repeats an episode to another: (1) God speaks with Abram and gives you some instruction; (2) the explanation is not complete: Abram sees nothing, but must act; (3) sometimes, Abram has doubts and argues with God; (4) with or without them, he always obeys; (5) God demonstrates his faithfulness taking always complete the indicated to Abram-although not always in the way this expected. The answers obedient of Abram made him known as the "father of faith"-the model of faith par excellence. Thus, step by step, Abram also learned to be faithful.
No wonder that later our words faith and fidelity have become sisters from Latin fides . Fidelity is the quality of what is faith, who can you trust.
The God of Abraham is still the same today, and the people he created for his fidelity was born his son Jesus, through whom he also included in faithful fulfilment of its promises, namely: reconciliation with him and the gift of eternal life. For this, Jesus gave himself up to death on our behalf, and once again God demonstrated his allegiance to bring him back from the dead.
Now it's up to us to respond to the faithfulness of God with our faith, depositing the destiny of our life in the hands of Jesus, even without knowing-as Abram-as he will lead us, but trusting in his promises. That's what points the verse highlighted: God calls us as called Abram, and also in charge of his work. Now, what if these are tenders requires believers "(1 Corinthians 4.2). No more, no less.
RK

God does not ask us great things: fidelity – with all that it means.

Decepção / Disappointment

Decepção
Leitura bíblica:
_________________
Eu lhes direi claramente: Nunca os conheci. Afastem-se de mim, vocês que praticam o mal (Mateus 7.23).
_________________
HK
Não se decepcione! Creia em Jesus Cristo. Jogue segundo as regras dele. E seja vencedor.

Disappointment
Bible reading:

I tell you clearly: never met them. Get away from me, you who practice evil (Matew7.23).

The 2014 FIFA World Cup was a venture of Brazil. It was organized to be the best of all World Cup ever. The mood among the majority of Brazilians was the expectation that our selection was champion. However, it had its course diverted when he lost in the semifinals. The disappointment for the vast majority of Brazilian fans was tremendous, since the World Cup was in our country and, as rumored, "be a champion at home is always better". In this World Cup, other large selections, regarded as Favorites to win, were eliminated in the early stages, also disappointed their fans. However, every four years there will be a new chance for each selection to be champion.
However, there is something far more serious, in that each one has a chance to be crowned winner. The good thing about it is that victory is not restricted to a single person, but can be all you want. But anyway, what I'm writing (speaking)?
I write about eternal life, that is for all people, without exception. Each decide if you want to be a winner or not. Everyone has a chance. As a World Cup only becomes champion the selection who participates, that plays by the rules and with the right tactic, so too it is with eternal life. Jesus Christ has already paved the way for her to die on the cross, taking upon himself the sins of each one of us, resurrected on the third day and later returning to his father. Individually, however, each of us needs to believe in Jesus Christ and become his follower, obeying your instructions (the Bible) and persevere firmly in the way of the Lord until the end.
That disappointment will be if someone who was religious and nice get before God and he tells you that you don't know him, by the mere fact of not having taken Jesus seriously, getting it as their Savior and Lord of your life.
HK
Don't disappoint! Believe in Jesus Christ. Play according to the rules. And be a winner.

Servir / Serve

Servir
Leitura bíblica:
_________________
Servi ao Senhor com alegria; e apresentai-vos a Ele com canto (Salmo 1002.)
_________________
MP
Servir a Deus é uma escolha a fazer diariamente.

Serve
Bible reading:
_________________
Serve the Lord with gladness; and bring you to it with corner (Psalm 1002.)
_________________
You've just read part of a story that speaks of Nehemiah and the inspection that he made on the walls of Jerusalem. The critical situation of the walls, opposition and the mockery he faced were not reasons to stop working on reform. One of the strong points that appear in Nehemiah, who was cupbearer of Artaxerxes, King of Persia, is at your disposal to serve God.
Serve isn't always easy, it requires dedication and sometimes resignation. I'm not just talking about service to God in the Church, but also in day to day work.
The other day we were discussing between coworkers how hard it is to find people who are willing to do a bit more than that for which they are paid. It seems to me that we are living at a time when everything should be paid. Only works when there is remuneration. On the other hand, there are those who prefer to pay someone to do something. I remember when my church youth group gathered Saturday afternoon to clean up the yard of our community. They were moments of communion and joy. There each could serve the Lord. Today I see churches that, for each sector, whether for cleaning or for different ministries in the Church, have a person hired. There are situations where this is necessary, but I want to challenge you to think a little beyond this reality.
Nehemiah could have stayed in the comfort of the Palace performing your daily service. After all, there also was serving God. But he allowed himself to be challenged to think beyond your borders, your daily work. There's much more to be done than he did on a daily basis.
So, I want to challenge you as well as Psalm 100 does in the verse highlighted. Serve the Lord with joy and dedication. Don't just do the work that is expected of you, is willing to do a little more. There are many "walls" stop being rebuilt.
MP
Serving God is a choice to make on a daily basis.
