Salmos 119.9-16 
Como pode o jovem manter pura a sua conduta? Vivendo de acordo com a tua palavra (Salmos 119.9).
 
Trabalho num centro de recuperação para pessoas dependentes de álcool e outras drogas. Vêm até nós pessoas com histórias de vida bastante difíceis. Alguns já experimentaram quase tudo o que pode imaginar e essa vida lhes trouxe muitos problemas. Com o passar do tempo, alguns, pelo agir de Deus, experimentam na sua vida o que o apóstolo Paulo escreveu: "Se alguém está em Cristo, é nova criação. As coisas antigas passaram; eis que surgiram coisas novas!" (2 Coríntios 5.17). Contudo, o tempo que passam conosco é relativamente curto, vindo novamente o período em que precisam enfrentar o mundo e viver sua própria vida.
Infelizmente há aqueles que, mesmo tendo feito um bom início, recaem e voltam à sua velha vida. E quando estes retornar para novamente se tratar é muito comum ouvi-los dizer que, enquanto buscaram a presença de Deus em sua vida, permaneceram longe do vício. Mas assim que deixaram de buscar a palavra de Deus, veio novamente a queda.
Esta não é apenas a realidade daqueles que sofrem por causa da dependência do álcool e de outras drogas, mas de cada um de nós. "Todos nós, tal qual ovelhas, nos desviamos, cada um de nós se voltou para o seu próprio caminho" (Isaías 53.6). Quando somos achados por Jesus Cristo, este nos coloca no seu caminho e torna nossa vida pura, mesmo que não mereçamos isso. E a única maneira de não nos perdermos novamente nos nossos próprios caminhos é ficarmos atentos à Palavra de Deus. É preciso buscar a Deus de todo nosso coração e meditar naquilo que ele nos diz. Quem assim procede "é como árvore plantada à beira de águas correntes: Dá fruto no tempo certo e suas folhas não murcham. Tudo o que ele faz prospera!" (Salmos 1.3).
E você, estimado leitor, como você vive hoje? Está buscando a Palavra de Deus? Que você possa dizer como o salmista: "Eu te busco de todo o meu coração".

How can young keep pure your conduct? Living according to thy Word (Psalms 119.9).
 
Work on a Recovery Center for people addicted to alcohol and other drugs. People come to us with stories of life quite difficult. Some have tried almost everything you can imagine and that life brought them many problems. Over time, some, by Act of God, experience in your life which the Apostle Paul wrote: "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed; Behold, new things have arisen! " (2 Corinthians 5.17). However, the time they spend with us is relatively short, coming again as long as they need to face the world and live her own life.
Unfortunately there are those who, even having made a good start, fall and return to his old life. And you, dear reader, how you live today? Looking for the word of God? You can say as the psalmist: "I seek you with all my heart".

Paraíso Perdido (Pão Diário 30/01/12)

Leitura Bíblica: Gênesis 3.21-24
E fez o SENHOR Deus a Adão e à sua mulher túnicas de peles, e os vestiu.
Então disse o SENHOR Deus: Eis que o homem é como um de nós, sabendo o bem e o mal; ora, para que não estenda a sua mão, e tome também da árvore da vida, e coma e viva eternamente,
O SENHOR Deus, pois, o lançou fora do jardim do Éden, para lavrar a terra de que fora tomado.
E havendo lançado fora o homem, pôs querubins ao oriente do jardim do Éden, e uma espada inflamada que andava ao redor, para guardar o caminho da árvore da vida.
Versículo em Destaque:
"O Senhor Deus mandou [o homem] embora do jardim do Éden para cultivar o solo do qual fora tirado." (Gênesis 3.23)

Mensagem do Dia
Filmes e livros já receberam o título de "Paraíso Perdido". A atitude humana, em todas as gerações, faz-nos supor que o homem continua desejando volta par ao jardim do Éden. Podemos concluir que naquele lugar, criado por Deus, o homem era feliz até desobedecer ao Senhor. Até hoje ele está procurando a felicidade! Quando recebemos coisas boas de Deus, quase sempre abusamos delas. O apóstolo Paulo nos avisa que não devemos menosprezar a graça divina. Não é porque Deus perdoa que vamos continuar fazendo coisas que lhe desagradam.
Uma grande verdade se apresenta no texto de hoje. Deus, justo como é, não comete injustiça alguma: não poderia permitir que um culpado continuasse vivendo ali sem punição. Quando desagradamos ao Senhor, perdemos privilégios. Deixamos de ter um relacionamento íntimo com Deus, o que afeta nossa relação com nossos familiares, e com o próximo. Pode até prejudicar nossa saúde; podemos perder a liberdade, a paz ou nosso dinheiro. Faça um cálculo: só no episódio de Adão e Eva, quantas vantagens eles perderam!!! Essa punição foi merecida, preventiva, lamentável, didática e amaldiçoadora. De acordo com o versículo em destaque, Adão saiu do paraíso e imediatamente começou a cumprir a sentença (não significa que o trabalho seja uma maldição, mas que o modo de obtenção do sustento seria mais penoso que no jardim).
O fato glorioso de tudo isso é que Cristo nos dá uma nova oportunidade: "Eu sou o caminho, a verdade e a vida. Ninguém vem ao Pai a não ser por mim" (João 14.6). Ele aponta para um novo lugar, muito melhor que o Éden, onde não haverá mal. Jesus também disse: "Bem-aventurados os pobres em espírito, pois deles é o Reino dos céus" (Mateus 5.3). Com ele, temos acesso ao paraíso.

Paradise lost (1/30/12 Daily Bread)
Reading the Bible: Genesis 3.21-24
And the Lord God made Adam and his wife tunics of skins, and clothed them.
Then said the Lord God: Behold, the man is like one of us, knowing good and evil; However, not to extend your hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat and live forever,
The Lord God therefore launched outside the garden of Eden, to cultivate the land that had been taken.
And having released outside man, brought Cherubim to the East of the garden of Eden, and a sword inflamed who rode around, to save the path of the tree of life.
Featured verse:
"The Lord God sent him [the man] Although the garden of Eden for tilling the soil of which had been taken." (Genesis 3.23)

Message of the day
Movies and books have received the title of "paradise lost". The human attitude in all generations, makes us suppose that the man still desiring to return to the garden of Eden. We can conclude that in that place, created by God, the man was happy to disobey the Lord. Until today he is looking for happiness! When we receive good things from God, almost always yet we maltreat them. The Apostle Paul warns us that we should not underestimate the divine grace. It is not because God forgives we keep doing things that they dislike him.
A great truth is presented in the text today. God, just as it is, don't commit any injustice: couldn't allow a guilty continued living there without punishment. When no please to  the Lord, we lose privileges. We have an intimate relationship with God, which affects our relationship with our families, and with the next. You can even harm our health; We can lose the freedom, peace or our money. Make a calculation: only in the episode of Adam and Eve, how many benefits they lost!!! This punishment was deserved, preventive, regrettable, didactics and that buggers. According to the verse in featured, Adam out of paradise and immediately began to comply with the judgment (doesn't mean that the work is a curse, but that the way of obtaining sustenance would be more painful than in the garden).

Mensagem do dia
Durante a nossa vida surgem inúmeras oportunidades, e nem sempre sabemos aproveitá-las bem. Às vezes perdemos boas chances de crescer financeira ou até espiritualmente simplesmente porque não sabemos tomas as decisões certas diante das mais variadas situações. Isso acontece quando não buscamos a orientação de Deus e escolhemos coisas que não lhe agradam.
O texto de hoje fala de um homem que soube aproveitas bem as oportunidades que apareceram no decorrer da sua vida, apesar das circunstâncias adversas. José era o filho predileto de Jacó e isso despertava um ciúme doentio em seus irmãos, que se transformou em ódio e levou-os a tomar uma desprezível decisão. Aproveitando uma oportunidade, venderam-no por vinte peças de prata e ele foi levado para o Egito como escravo. O que você faria se estivesse no lugar de José?
Provavelmente esta seria a ocasião perfeita para decidir odiar os seus malfeitores. Mas José não se deixou dominar por sentimentos negativos. Encarou a escravidão e deu o seu melhor. Apesar de estar numa terra estranha, sem conhecer ninguém, ele aproveitou a chance que lhe foi imposta e mostrou o seu bom caráter e sua fidelidade ao Senhor.
José sabia que Deus é justo e que não iria abandoná-lo se ele confiasse em seu amor. Deus estava ao seu lado e fez com que aproveitasse bem as oportunidades, mesmo quando elas pareciam ser as piores possíveis. E por ter sido fiel, José foi recompensado. Tornou-se governador do Egito, o segundo homem mais importante daquela nação. Essa história nos leva a pensar em como temos aproveitado as oportunidades que surgem em nossa vida. Muitas vezes perdemos boas chances de dizer uma palavra amiga ou até de ficar calado. O que você tem feito com as oportunidades que Deus lhe oferece?

Message of the day
During our life opportunities arise, and do not always know take advantage of them as well. Sometimes missed good chances to grow up spiritually financial or simply because they don't know take the right decisions on the most varied situations. This happens when you do not seek God's guidance and choose things that didn't Tickle.
Today's text speaks of a man who knew leverages well the opportunities that arose in the course of his life, despite the adverse circumstances. José was the favorite son of Jacob and this caused an unhealthy jealousy in his brothers, which turned into hatred and led them to take a despicable decision. Seizing an opportunity, they sold him for twenty pieces of silver, and he was taken to Egypt as a slave. What would you do if you were in place of Joseph?
Probably this would be the perfect occasion to decide hate their wrongdoers. But Jose is not left to dominate for negative feelings. Faced slavery and gave their best. Despite being in a strange land, without knowing anyone, he seized the chance that it was imposed and showed his good character and its faithfulness to the Lord.
José knew that God is just and that it would not abandon it if he relied on his love. God was by his side and made sure to seize the opportunities, even when they seemed to be the worst possible. And by being faithful, Joseph was rewarded. He became Governor of Egypt, the second most important man of that nation. This story leads us to think about how we have taken advantage of the opportunities that arise in our life. Often missed good chances to tell a friend or even to stay silent. What you have done with the opportunities that God gives you?

Negativismo / Negativism / Негативизм

Leitura Bíblica: Números 13:1, 26-33

"Se o Senhor se agradar de nós, ele nos fará entrar nessa terra, onde mana leite e mel, e a dará a nós." (Números 14:08)

Os dez espiões do texto tomados pelo negativismo (uma atitude negativa a todo desafio positivo) por falta de confiança em Deus. Josué e Calebe foram os únicos entre os doze que, ao reconhecerem a terra, trouxeram um relatório favorável. Tinham intimidade com Deus, por isso acreditaram na possibilidade da conquista da terra. Os outros dez ficaram apavorados e lavaram o povo a chorar e a queixar-se. Diziam que os habitantes da terra eram mais fortes, altos, havia gigantes e suas cidades eram muito fortificadas. Uma posição desanimadora, resultado de uma "doença" que quero denominar de negativite. Ela está presente em todo o mundo e seus sintomas são desânimo, resmungos e reclamações. Afeta gente de todas as idades, que passa a dizer "não posso" a todo momento. Pode multiplicar-se ao ponto de se tornar uma epidemia, afetando todo um grupo, uma família e até mesmo uma comunidade cristã. Nunca me esquecerei de certa igreja que passava por um problema muito difícil de ser resolvido. O negativismo tomou conta de tal maneira que começou a destruir o relacionamento entre os cristãos.
Se essa "doença" não for curada a tempo, pode levar ao desespero. No caso dos dez mensageiros, não entraram na terra prometida, morrendo no deserto. O único remédio para curar tal doença é tomar de manhã e á noite, e levar consigo durante o dia todo, uma dose de intimidade com Deus. Se seguirmos Jesus e confiarmos Nele, esse mal não vai tomar conta da nossa vida e então chegaremos à Canaã celestial (o céu), vitoriosos, alegres, felizes, dando graças e aleluias ao Senhor.
Alguns anos depois daquela experiência, Calebe disse que tinha chegado à terra prometida porque havia sido inteiramente fiel ao Senhor (Josué 14:07-09). Sua vida atesta que quem confia em Deus vence o negativismo!
 Quem tem intimidade com Deus encara a vida de modo positivo.  


Negativism
Bible reading: numbers 13: 1, 26-33

Escolham hoje a quem irão servir (Josué 24.15)

    Quem sabe onde fica o ponto mais alto entre as nascentes dos rios São Francisco e Paraná! Quando a chuva cai naquele lugar, as águas descem ou para o norte ou para sul. Formam córregos, descendo ao norte para o São Francisco e dai para Oceano Atlântico, e ao sul formando o Paraná, que vai desaguar no mesmo mar, mas a centenas de quilômetros no sentido oposto, fora do Brasil. As águas não tem como escolher para onde ir, mas nós temos - e nossas decisões podem levar-nos para direções muito diferentes. Muitas são corriqueiras, outras são determinativas. Lemos hoje o desafio final de Moisés ao povo de Israel no liminar da Terra Prometida, depois de quarenta anos de peregrinação pelo deserto. Pela morte ele deixaria a liderança de Israel e previa, por um lado, vitórias e felicidade e, por outro, derrotas e morte. Ele conhecia a fraqueza do povo diante de obstáculos. Desejava preparar todos para encararem a realidade: seriam tentados pelas culturas pagãs dos outros povos e poderiam sofrer derrotas. Moisés refletia o coração de Deus, desejando o melhor para o seu povo e visando ao seu papel na vinda do Messias. Desafiou todos a tornarem uma posição firme de amar a Deus sobre todas as coisas. Só assim teriam o êxito que todos esperavam.
    Para você hoje o êxito também depende da sua tomada de posição. Judas Iscariotes foi colocado por Jesus no grupo dos seus discípulos. Porém, seu fim revela que ele nunca foi um seguidor autêntico de Cristo. Acabou entregando-se a satanás para trair seu Mestre. Vendo que Jesus morreria, suicidou-se trágico resultado final de escolher mal a quem servir. Hoje é o dia de escolher Cristo para reconciliar-se com Deus: "Agora é o dia da salvação!" (2 Coríntios 6.2). Para o cristão, hoje é o tempo ideal de resolver cumprir a vontade de deus, dedicando-se mais à leitura e estudo da Bíblia e à oração. E não restam dúvidas: Deus garante êxito!

Medo? / Fear? / Страх?

Leitura Bíblica: 1 Reis 19.1-9

Aquele que não poupou seu próprio Filho, mas o entregou por todos nós, como não nos dará juntamente com ele, e de graça, todas as coisas? (Romanos 8.32)

Elias foi um profeta de Deus em Israel no século IX a.C. Ele experimentou milagres de Deus na sua vida. Mediante sua oração não choveu durante três anos em Israel. Foi alimentado por corvos perto de um riacho. Não podendo mais ficar naquele lugar, foi enviado por Deus até uma viúva em Sarepta. Em Sarepta experimentou o milagre da multiplicação do azeite e da farinha, de modo que a viúva, seu filho e o próprio Elias puderam se alimentar. No Monte Carmelo, Elias obteve vitória sobre os profetas de Baal. Viu o fogo do Senhor descer do céu, incendiando o holocausto preparado por ele.

Com tantos milagres, poderíamos pensar que Elias jamais sentiria medo diante de uma situação ameaçadora. Mas não foi o que aconteceu. O texto que você leu fala do medo de Elias diante da ameaça de Jezabel. O medo o levou a fugir para o deserto a fi de salvar a sua vida. Essa situação lhe causou tanto desgosto que ele pediu a Deus que lhe tirasse a vida. Contudo, Deus não atendeu a esse pedido. Pelo contrário, veio ao seu encontro para motivá-lo e fortalecê-lo.

Isso também pode acontecer conosco. Num momento estamos fortes e confiantes na atuação de Deus, e logo depois um acontecimento qualquer pode nos deixar tristes e desanimados, às vezes até com vontade de não viver mais. Mas assim como Deus veio ao encontro de Elias, ele vem ao nosso encontro. Ele não condenou a fraqueza de Elias e nem o seu desânimo. Deus vai até ele e providencia o que mais estava precisando naquele momento. Com esse gesto, Deus diz a Elias: "Você está com medo, desanimado e cansado, mas eu estou aqui neste deserto com você. Eu não o deixo sozinho. Pode contar comigo".
Assim também nós podemos contar com Deus. Afinal, o Deus de Elias é o nosso Deus. - MP

Fear?
Bible Reading: 1 Kings 19.1-9

Leitura Bíblica: Isaías 59:1 e 2 
"Quando pedem, não recebem, pois pedem por motivos errados, para gastar em seus prazeres" (Tiago 04:03)

Certa amiga me confessou que não era feliz apesar das suas posses, e que Deus a teria esquecido, pois não dava ouvidos às suas orações. Às vezes realmente podemos ter essa impressão, mas Ele ouve sem dúvida nossas orações e súplicas, só que muitas vezes não nos atende por causa do nosso egoísmo. Este nos faz achar-nos mais importantes que o próprio Deus. É o que a bíblia chama de "pecado", ou também de maldade ou iniquidade. Lemos hoje o profeta Isaías dizendo que Deus não está surdo. Precisamos entender que, embora seu amor por nós seja imenso, é necessário nos afastarmos desse pecado que nos cerca e que praticamos; caso contrário, Deus não nos atenderá, fazendo realmente com que pareça surdo. Deus ama o pecador apesar do seu pecado, mas por isso mesmo este precisa ser eliminado antes de tudo. Portanto, nossos pecados têm de ser confessados ao Senhor, pois nos distanciam Dele. Além disso, Deus atenderá nossas orações no Seu tempo e não no nosso. O braço do Senhor não está encolhido, diz Isaías, e pode alcançar-nos no mais profundo abismo que nos encontrarmos. Pensar que Deus nos esqueceu é um equívoco fatal porque nos afasta da própria fonte da vida. Deus jamais nos esquece (Isaías 49:15 e 16), mas nos vigia para ver qual é a nossa intenção.  Temos de começar a mudar o nosso estilo de vida dizendo o seguinte: Meu Deus, estou vivendo sem perspectivas de vida, mas sei que és poderoso e podes me mudar; por isso, perdoa meus pecados, estende Teus braços e tira-me desta situação humilhante que estou passando, restaura-me para que eu possa sentir a Sua paz. Deus atende nossas orações quando isto O glorifica e for benéfico para nós.


God hears

“Nunca o deixarei, nunca o abandonarei” (Josué. 1: 5 B)

Num determinado dia, Moisés foi chamado pelo SENHOR DEUS para liderar os hebreus, seu povo, quando saíssem do Egito, onde viviam escravizados, a fim de conduzi-los à terra que ELE mesmo, DEUS, designara para habitação perpétua deles. Todavia, Moisés mostrou insegurança, receio mesmo, julgando-se incapaz de enfrentar o faraó (o rei do Egito) para esse fim – e, de fato, sua tarefa foi bem árdua.

Ele tinha problemas com a fala, mas o SENHOR o orientou a procurar duplo amparo e auxílio: primeiro de DEUS mesmo, que o orientaria, e também de seu irmão Arão, que era bem fluente verbalmente e falaria por ele, conforme ocorreu nos primeiros encontros com o faraó.

Isso foi no início, mas depois ele se desincumbiu da tarefa contando apenas com a direção e o amparo de DEUS, que lhe transmitia as palavras, além de lhe dar poderes especiais, o que era suficiente.

Por não desamparar e nem deixar Moisés sozinho, DEUS fez crescer nele essa convicção de que o nosso PAI CELESTE não nos abandona nunca.

Com a morte de Moisés, DEUS repetiu a mesma promessa ao seu sucessor, Josué (é o versículo em destaque) e, de fato, não o deixou nem o desamparou quando agora teve de liderar o povo na conquista da terra prometida.

A garantia de DEUS de não nos desamparar e nem nos deixar é tão forte, tão importante, e nos dá tanta segurança, que foi novamente lembrada no Novo Testamento (Hebreus. 13: 5).

Como Moisés e depois Josué, precisamos pedir a DEUS e tão somente a ELE, que nos dirija, oriente e ampare sempre. Assim ELE poderá realizar a sua vontade por meio da nossa vida e do que fazemos, para que todo este mundo venha a conhecer o seu amor e tenha a oportunidade de reconciliar-se com ELE.

On any given day, Moses was called by the Lord GOD to lead the Hebrews, his people, when out of Egypt, where enslaved lived in order to lead them to the ground himself, GOD, appointed perpetual housing for them. However, Moses showed insecurity, fear, believing himself unable to confront the Pharaoh (the King of Egypt) for this purpose – and, indeed, its task was arduous.

He had problems with speaking, but the Lord guided search double protection and aid: first of God himself, the tress, and also of his brother Aaron, who was well verbally fluent and would speak for him, as occurred in the first encounters with the Pharaoh.

Leitura Bíblica: Isaías 1.16-18

Os olhos do Senhor estão em toda parte, observando atentamente os maus e os bons (Provérbios 15.3).

Estava fazendo a faxina em casa, e me chamou a atenção que quando se tira o pó dos móveis, principalmente de uma estante com livros, ninguém percebe que a poeira se não removemos aquilo que o cobre. Somente quem faz a limpeza é que sabe o tanto de poeira que se esconde embaixo das coisas.
Algumas vezes agimos assim em relação a nós mesmos. Temos uma "poeira" dentro de nós que incomoda, dá alergia e faz espirrar, mas que permanece escondida. Um outro nome para ela é pecado. São aqueles pensamentos, sentimentos e atitudes que desagradam a Deus, embora ninguém mas saiba que existem. Podemos escondê-los das pessoas, mas para Deus nada passa despercebido. Ele conhece cada pensamento do nosso coração e tudo o que acontece em nosso íntimo (veja o versículo em destaque).
Se não for retirada totalmente, a poeira se impregna no móvel e vai criando crostas, e então cada vez fica mais difícil removê-la. Assim também é com o pecado: de tanto ficar acumulado, ele começa a fazer parte da nossa rotina e do nosso comportamento. As más atitudes passam a ser normais e nem percebemos mais que elas não agradam a Deus.
Na sua infinita sabedoria, Deus não criou nada empoeirado. Pelo contrário, ele até nos dá o "lustra-móveis" eficaz para podermos ficar limpos: Jesus. Ele veio ao mundo para libertar as pessoas da escravidão ao pecado, carregando em suas costas a marca do castigo que deveria ser meu e seu, pagando dessa forma o alto preço na cruz: deu sua vida para que a nossa fosse limpa.
Somente por meio de Jesus é que somos purificados e recebemos o perdão de toda sujeira que quer nos impregnar. Hoje talvez seja a oportunidade de "tirar o pó" de sua vida, confessando e se arrependendo daquilo que está impedindo o seu relacionamento com Deus. Faça isso diariamente e experimente o alívio que Jesus proporciona àqueles que o seguem. - APS

Take the powder

Bible reading: Isaiah 1.16-18
 The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, observing carefully the bad and the good (Proverbs 15.3).

Was doing housekeeping at home, and caught my attention that when you strip the dust from furniture, mainly of a bookshelf with books, nobody realizes that dust does not remove what covers. Only who does the cleaning is knowing how much dust that lurks at the bottom of things.
Sometimes we act as well in relation to ourselves. We have a "dust" within us that bothers you, gives allergy and makes sneeze, but that remains hidden. Another name for it is a sin. Are those thoughts, feelings and attitudes that they dislike the God, although nobody but know that there are. We can hide them from people, but to God nothing goes unnoticed. He knows every thought of our heart and everything that happens in our hearts (see verse highlighting).
If not removed entirely, the dust impregnates in mobile and will creating crusts, and then each time it becomes more difficult to remove it. RIVAIS / RIVALS / СОПЕРНИКИ

Salmo 109: 01-20

"Amem os seus inimigos e façam o bem aos que os odeiam, abençoem os que o amaldiçoam, orem por aqueles que os maltratam."  (Lucas 06: 27 e 28)

O texto que lemos hoje assusta? Mas não é assim que agimos muitas vezes? Queremos que Deus nos vingue, castigando aqueles que nos prejudicam. Davi chegou a pedir que a morte apanhasse seus inimigos de surpresa e eles descessem vivos à sepultura ( Salmo 55  Vers:15)!
Você pode argumentar que não tem inimigos declarados. Pense, então, naquelas pessoas que tornam sua vida mais difícil por meio de engano, desrespeito e até violência. Por exemplo, no estado onde moro a rivalidade entre os dois principais times de futebol é muito grande. Os comentaristas esportivos dizem que há uma "gangorra" : se um dos times está bem, o outro não estará. Sendo assim, é muito difícil conviver pacificamente. Trocar de time, então, é considerado traição. A rivalidade é tão "normal" que um dia parabenizei um amigo por uma conquista do "time inimigo" e ele ficou surpreso!
Jesus ensinou que devemos amar nossos inimigos (veja o versículo em destaque). Como é difícil fazer isso! Pensamos que tais pessoas não merecem nosso amor - mais esquecemos que nós também não merecíamos o amor de Deus. Contudo, Ele ama os bons e os maus. Cristo morreu para reconciliar com Deus até mesmo aqueles que O crucificaram.
Tenho que admitir: não sou capaz de amar assim. Preciso de ajuda de Deus a cada dia. Somente por amor a Ele posso abandonar minhas restrições pessoais e retribuir o mal com o bem. É mais fácil amar apenas quem é agradável e confiável, e que me ama também - mais até as pessoas sem Deus fazem isso! Os cristãos têm de ir além e surpreender os outros fazendo aquilo que eles não esperam. Jesus disse que devemos orar por eles e demonstrar em ações concretas. Se eles não mudarem de atitude, problema é deles - nós mudamos! Não seremos mais motivados pelas ações dos outros, mais pelo desejo de obedecer a Deus.

Quer livrar - se dos seus inimigos? Ame - os!!

Psalm 109: 01-20

"Love your enemies and do good to those who hate, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you." (Luke 06: 27 and 28)
 
The text we read today scares? But that's not how we act often? We want God in revenged, chastising those who harm us. David came to ask that the question of his enemies by surprise death and they live to grave rising (Psalm 55:15)!
You can argue that has no declared enemies. Think, then, those people who make your life more difficult by means of deception, disrespect and even violence. For example, in the State where I live the rivalry between the two main football teams is too large. Sports commentators say there is a "seesaw": If one of the teams is well, the other is not. Therefore, it is very difficult to coexist peacefully. Change of time, then, is considered treason. The rivalry is so "normal" that one day congratulate a friend for a conquest of the "time enemy" and he was surprised!
Jesus taught we should love our enemies (see verse highlighting). How difficult it is to do this! We believe that such people do not deserve our love-more we forget that we also we didn't deserve the love of God. However, he loves the good and the bad. Christ died to reconcile with God even those who crucified him.
I have to admit: I am not able to love as well. I need help from God every day for the sake of It only can I abandon my personal restrictions and repay evil with good. It is easier to love just who is nice and trustworthy, and who loves me too – more so people without God do this! Christians have to go beyond and amaze others doing what they don't expect. Jesus said that we should pray for them and demonstrate in concrete actions. If they don't change their attitude, problem is theirs-we moved! We shall not be more motivated by the actions of others, more by a desire to obey God.

Barro / Clay / Барро

Leitura bíblica: Jeremias 18: 1-6
“Não sejam insensatos, mas procurem compreender qual é a vontade do SENHOR.” (Efésios 5: 17)

DEUS tinha um plano para o seu povo, por isso informou ao Profeta Jeremias o que estava para fazer. Os Israelitas desobedeceram a Deus e, em seu zelo pela nação ELE estava resolvido a enviá-los para o cativeiro como forma de purificação. Sendo assim, Deus manda Jeremias fazer uma visita à casa do oleiro.
Chegando lá, ele começa a observar o trabalho, e assim, vem a Palavra de Deus ao profeta:
“Eu sou o oleiro, vocês são o barro”.
Da mesma forma que o oleiro estava concentrado em sua tarefa, DEUS também concentrava suas ações para que as pessoas pudessem chegar mais perto dele – Mas isso fazia parte do projeto de DEUS.
No texto de hoje, podemos observar que, em um dado momento o vaso que o oleiro estava fazendo se estragou. Não sabemos porque isso aconteceu. Não sou oleiro, mas imagino que uma das causas pudesse ser o fato de que o barro ainda estivesse um pouco duro, precisando por isso ser amassado por mais tempo para atingir a textura necessária. O oleiro precisou destruir o que já havia feito para poder começar tudo de novo.
Quando isso acontece com as pessoas, DEUS, como bom oleiro, também recomeça seu trabalho em nossa vida espiritual. O vaso, que somos nós, se quebra muitas vezes. Talvez isso se deva ao fato de que a matéria prima (nossa vida) precisa ser amassada um pouco mais até atingir o ponto em que ela fique moldável, por assim dizer. DEUS usou o cativeiro para moldar o povo de Israel. Do mesmo modo, DEUS usa as mais diversas circunstâncias da vida para moldar a cada um de nós, até que nos tornemos um bom vaso segundo a Sua vontade.

Reading the Bible: Jeremiah 18: 1-6
"Don't be foolish, but try to understand what is the will of the Lord."(Ephesians 5: 17)

GOD had a plan for his people, so informed the Prophet Jeremiah was what to do. The Israelites disobeyed God and in his zeal for the nation he was resolved to send them to the captivity as a form of purification. Therefore, God sends Jeremiah make a visit to the Potter's House.
Arriving there, he begins to observe the work, and thus, comes the word of God to the Prophet:
"I'm the Potter, you guys are the clay".
In the same way that the Potter was focused on his task, God also concentrated their actions so that people could get closer to it – But this was part of the plan of God.
In today's text, we can observe that, at any given moment the vase that Potter was doing if spoiled. We do not know why this happened. I am not Potter, but I imagine that one of the causes could be the fact that the clay was still a little hard, needing so be crumpled by more time to achieve the necessary texture. The Potter had to destroy what he had done to be able to start all over again.
When this happens with people, GOD, how good Potter, also resumes his work in our spiritual life. The vase, which we often breaks. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the raw material (our life) needs to be smashed a little more until it reaches the point where it is moldable, so to speak. God used the captivity to shape the people of Israel. Similarly, God uses many different life circumstances to shape each one of us, until we become a good vase according to his will.

ARROGÂNCIA / ARROGANCE / ВЫСОКОМЕРИЕ

Leitura Bíblica: Provérbios 3.1-7

Não fique cheio de si, pensando que sua própria sabedoria é a razão do seu sucesso. A verdadeira sabedoria é amar e obedecer ao Senhor, fugindo do mal (Provérbios 3.7).

O que se entende por arrogância? Um dicionário diz tratar-se do orgulho ostensivo, altivez; arrogante é aquele que pretende ser mais elevado por suposta superioridade moral, social, intelectual ou de comportamento. Pode ser definida também por insolência, atrevimento, ousadia.
Quem foi que teve tal procedimento? Na história da humanidade o assunto aparece lá no início. Satanás mostrou-se arrogante quando se rebelou contra Deus e conseguiu introduzir isso em Adão e Eva. Com todo cortejo que o orgulho pode provocar, eles foram tentados a confiar mais em seu próprio conhecimento e a fazer as coisas a seu modo, e não como Deus ordenara. Isso gerou o que se passou a chamar de "pecado". De acordo com o conceito bíblico, pecado pode ser resumido como tudo o que se afasta do normal prescrito pela ordem divina e como algo que se opõe à vida. É o que leva o homem a errar o alvo que Deus tinha para ele. É aqui que o poder da arrogância entra em ação. Ela convence o homem de que ele não precisa de Deus, e sugere que boas obras são suficientes para se viver satisfatoriamente. Fazer o bem tem o seu lugar, mas nunca como meio para obter a vida eterna e sim como consequência do amor a Deus e resposta ao que ele fez por nós. Então, as boas obras deixam de ser mero produto de uma atitude arrogante e tornam-se fruto da gratidão a Deus.
O livro de Provérbios trata com muita seriedade o problema da arrogância: Deus a odeia (Provérbios 8.13) e afirma que ela é uma característica do ímpio, não do justo (Provérbios 21.29 e 22.8). Logo no começo do livro, Salomão aconselha: "Confie no Senhor de todo o seu coração; nunca pense que sua própria capacidade é suficiente para vencer os problemas" (verso 5). Como diz o versículo em destaque, sábio é quem ama e obedece ao Senhor!

ARROGANCE Reading the Bible: Proverbs 3.1-7

Don't get full of themselves, thinking that her own wisdom is the reason for its success. True wisdom is to love and obey the Mr , fleeing from evil (Proverbs 3.7).

According to the biblical concept, Sin can be summarized as everything that departs from the normal prescribed by divine order and as something that is opposed to life. Is what leads the man to miss the mark that God had for him. It is here that the power of arrogance comes into action. She convinces the man that he does not need God, and suggests that good works are sufficient to live satisfactorily. Doing good has its place, but never as a means to obtain eternal life and Yes as a consequence of the love of God and response to what he has done for us. Entre nós! / Among us! / Среди нас!

"Não executarei a minha ira impetuosa, não tornarei a destruir Efraim. Pois sou Deus, e não homem, o santo no meio de vocês." (Oséias 11.9)

Um dia desses fui convidado para uma cerimônia de colação de grau de um amigo. Ele estava concluindo o seu curso de Direito. Na oportunidade concedida à oradora da turma, esta homenageou seus professores, colegas, familiares e a todos os presentes daquele auditório pela contribuição de cada um ao longo do curso. Fez também questão de homenagear sua avó, já falecida, por tê-la apoiado durante o período de seu curso, pois certamente estarei muito feliz de estar próxima de sua neta para viver aquele brilhante momento. Diferentemente da situação da oradora daquela turma, no texto de hoje, no versículo 9 mais precisamente, Deus enuncia por meio do profeta Oseias quatro palavras que nos chamam a atenção: "no meio de vocês". Aí desejo fazer algumas perguntas:
Você acredita nisso? Você acredita que Deus está próximo?
Ele deseja que você acredite. Ele quer que você saiba que ele está inserido no seu mundo. Onde quer que você esteja, ele está presente: no seu escritório, em sua casa, no carro, no quarto, onde for , está próximo. Sabe porquê? Para cuidar de você. O profeta mostrou as várias maneiras de como Deus cuidou de Israel, provando estar próximo do seu povo. O que Deus foi outrora para Israel, é para nós hoje. Isso também ele faz por você, por mim, por todos que nele acreditam. Ele está conosco nas horas alegres e tristes. Preocupa-se com os nossos desejos e sentimentos, e jamais nos abandona em qualquer momento da nossa vida. Está conosco tanto no início como no fim de semana e vem ao seu encontro diariamente no lugar de que você mais gosta: sua casa. Ali ele está presente todos os dias. Bate à porta. Mas depende de você deixá-lo entrar e ficar com você.

One of these days I was invited to a graduation ceremony of a friend. He was completing his law course. "Rejeite... as fábulas profanas e tolas, e exercite-se na piedade. O exercício físico é pouco proveito; a piedade, porém, para tudo é proveitosa, porque tem promessa da vida presente e da futura." (1 Timóteo 4.7-8)

Muitos de nós vivem uma vida sedentária - parece que o único movimento que fazem é levantar o garfo até a boca. Como consequência da falta de exercícios físicos, aparece uma série de doenças, sem falar na obesidade, que também é um risco à saúde.
Quais as vantagens dos exercícios físicos? Não deve ser novidade: o exercício dá mais energia, ajuda a retardar o envelhecimento e renova os músculos. Exercitar-se previne a degeneração física. É como se prolongasse a juventude. Faz bem para a pele, aumentando o fluxo sanguíneo nela, provendo-a de nutrientes e retirando as toxinas. Também ajuda a perder peso. Pessoas ativas são menos sujeitas a ter problemas cardíacos. Percebemos no próprio corpo o resultado da falta dos exercícios físicos.
Quero, porém, falar agora de um outro tipo de exercício: o espiritual. Ele é tão necessário quanto o outro. Por quê? Porque o homem não é só corpo, também é espírito. O exercício espiritual consiste em diariamente meditar na Palavra de Deus, falar com ele em oração e proceder bem. Quando deixamos de fazer isso, ficamos sujeitos a obesidade espiritual. O que seria isso?
É alimentar o nosso espírito com tudo que é falso, abominável e ruim. A obesidade espiritual pesa e nos rouba as forças para vencer as lutas espirituais. Não conseguimos reagir.
Por isso, o apóstolo Paulo escreveu ao jovem Timóteo as recomendações da nossa leitura de hoje e, em particular, o que está no versículo em destaque.
Convido você a praticar esses exercícios espirituais para poder crescer espiritualmente. Para vencer as lutas diárias da vida é preciso ter vigor, e este só vem com a prática - espiritual e fisicamente.
É necessário praticar o exercício espiritual se quisermos ser cristãos saudáveis.

Exercises 
 "Reject ... profane and silly, fables and energize in piety. The exercise is little advantage; piety, however, for everything is successful, because it has promise of life this and in the future. "(1 Timothy 4.7-8)

Many of us live a sedentary life-it seems that the only movement that do is raise the fork to his mouth. As a consequence of the lack of physical exercise, appears a number of diseases, not to mention the obesity, which is also a health risk.
What are the advantages of physical exercises? Should not be novelty: the exercise gives more energy, helps to slow down aging and renews the muscles. Exercise prevents physical degeneration. I, however, speak now of another type of exercise: the spiritual. It is as necessary as the other. Why? Because the man is not only the body, also is spirit. The spiritual exercise consists of daily meditation on the word of God speak to him in prayer and proceed well. When we do this, we are subject to spiritual obesity. What is this?
Food is our spirit with everything that is false, abominable and bad. Spiritual obesity weighs and steals the forces to overcome the spiritual struggles. We were unable to react.
Therefore, the Apostle Paul wrote to the young Timothy read our recommendations for today and, in particular, what is featured in verse.
I invite you to practice these spiritual exercises in order to grow spiritually. To overcome the daily struggles of life you need to have force, and this only comes with practice-spiritual and physically.

Я, однако, говорят теперь другой тип мероприятия: духовного. Это же необходимой, как другой. Почему? Потому что человек не только тело, также является дух. Процесс духовного состоит из повседневной медитации на слове Бога говорить с ним в молитве и работу хорошо. Когда мы делаем это, мы, подлежат духовной ожирения. Что это?
Продовольствие является наш дух все ложь, отвратительный и Бад. Духовные ожирения весит и крадет силы для преодоления духовной борьбы. Мы были не в состоянии реагировать.
Таким образом, Апостол Павел писал молодой Тимоти прочитать наши рекомендации для сегодня и, в частности, что фигурирует в стихе.
Я приглашаю вас на практике эти духовные упражнения с тем, чтобы расти духовно. Для преодоления повседневной борьбы жизни вам нужно иметь силу, и это приходит только с практикой духовного и физического.

Это необходимо для практике духовной работы, если мы хотим быть здоровым христиан.

Deus não trata as pessoas com parcialidade (At 10.34b).

Apesar dos esforços para se difundir ideias de igualdade, a por sua aparência, rotulá-los e separá-los em grupos ainda é muito comum. George Orwell escreveu em um de seus livros: “Todos… são iguais, mas alguns são mais iguais que os outros.” Não é assim que agimos? Temos nossos “preferidos”. Interessante é que, ao observarmos a vida de Jesus, percebemos que ele tinha amigos próximos, sim, mas não deixou de dar atenção a todos. Curou ricos e pobres, respondeu a perguntas de amigos e inimigos, tratou da mesma forma escravos e governantes. Ele não demonstrou preferências nem discriminava as pessoas. Não valorizava a aparência, pois conhecia o coração daqueles que o procuravam – os amava! Sua morte na cruz não aconteceu para aproximar de Deus apenas aqueles que seguiam as leis divinas ou tinham uma vida correta. Ele morreu por todos!
O texto de hoje refere-se, em especial, à discriminação de pessoas devido à sua classe social. Nosso mundo é tão egoísta e mesquinho que é comum que é comum ver pessoas atravessando a rua para fazer de conta que não viram um mendigo, ou não atendendo a um cliente se ele está mal vestido. Tiago escreveu sua carta há séculos, e mesmo assim ela é tão atual: “Vocês têm desprezado o pobre.” Agindo assim, explica, deixamos de cumprir o mandamento de amar ao próximo. Esquecemos que para Deus não importa como alguém está vestido ou seu saldo no banco – importa o coração (veja 1Sm 16.7).No texto de hoje aprendemos que uma característica do discípulo de Cristo é não fazer diferença entre as pessoas (v 1 ). Se quisermos imitar Jesus, temos de tratar todos da mesma forma – como, aliás, esperamos ser tratados. Isso inclui compartilhar o evangelho com todos, dedicar nosso tempo e interesse da mesma maneira a qualquer um e estar dispostos a amar as pessoas, sem preconceitos ou rótulos. – Vanessa Weiler Ribas

Наш мир настолько эгоистичны и мелких, что часто можно увидеть людей, пересекающих улицу чтобы притворяться, не видел нищий, или не в качестве клиента, если он грязный. Тьягу написал письмо на протяжении многих веков, и даже тогда это так текущий: «вы презирали бедных». Таким образом, объясняет, что мы выполняем заповедь любви к ближнему. Мы забыли, что для Бога, независимо от того, как кто-то одеты или ваш баланс на банка – импортирует сердца (см. 1Sm 16,7).В тексте сегодня мы узнали, что характеристика ученик Христа не делать различий между людьми (v 1). Если мы хотим имитировать Иисуса, мы должны рассматривать каждый таким же образом – как действительно ожидать следует рассматривать.
