Que é o homem, para que com ele te importes? E o filho do homem, para que com ele te preocupes?

Alguém me disse que seus problemas eram pequenos demais para que Deus se importasse com eles. Na sua opinião, levar aquilo em oração a Deus, que é tão ocupado, seria importuná-lo com coisas de pouca importância.
O salmista responde a esta questão dizendo que fomos criados por Deus coroados de honra e glória, um pouco menores do que os seres celestiais. Esses são atributos de Deus. Demonstram seu poder, sua grandiosidade, sua majestade. A intenção de Deus é que a humanidade compartilhe com ele a dignidade de ser governante de toda a criação. Porém, os planos de deus foram frustrados pela desobediência da humanidade.
Ao tentar ser iguais a deus, em vez de apenas viverem com Deus, Adão e Eva colocaram-se fora do plano original da criação. A honra e a glória que lhes caberia perdeu-se. Não poderiam exercer mais sua autoridade plenamente. Afastados do relacionamento com Deus, o único digno de toda honra e glória, não seria possível continuarmos numa posição que é dele.
Por isso deus envia um segundo Adão: seu Filho Jesus Cristo. Ele é perfeito em sua humanidade e foi coroado de honra e de glória (João 1.14). Ele é também a imagem perfeita de Deus (Hebreus 1.3). Jesus assumiu a nossa condição humana, inclusive a nossa condenação pela desobediência, e na cruz providenciou uma solução definitiva para o problema. A honra e a glória humanas só podem ser reencontradas na pessoa de Jesus Cristo, morto e ressurreto. Deus nos leva em alta consideração; nenhum dos nossos problemas ou dificuldades é pequeno demais para ele. Por amor, ele decidiu nos perdoar, resgatar e salvar. Tal como na ressurreição Jesus Cristo foi coroado de glória, aqueles que creram em Jesus Cristo receberão na ressurreição um corpo de glória (Filipenses 3.21), podendo assim participar novamente do plano original de Deus para a humanidade.

What is man, that he sums? And the son of man, so that he worry?

Someone told me that its problems were too small for that God cared about them. In your opinion, take it in prayer to God, who is so busy it would be spamming it with things of little importance.
The psalmist responds to this question by saying that we were created by God crowned with the honor and glory, a little lower than the heavenly beings. These are attributes of God. Show your power, your Majesty, your Majesty. God's intention is that humanity to share with him the dignity to be ruler of all creation. However, God's plans were thwarted by the disobedience of humanity.
When you try to be equal to God, rather than just live with God, Adam and Eve left out of the original plan of creation. Honour and glory that would fit them lost. could not exert more fully its authority. Away from the relationship with God, the only worthy of all honor and glory, would it not be possible to remain in a position that is it.
So God sends a second Adam: his son Jesus Christ. He is perfect in his humanity and was crowned with honor and glory (John 1.14). It is also the perfect image of God (Hebrews 1.3). By love, he decided to forgive, redeem and save. As in the resurrection Jesus Christ was crowned with glory, those who believed in Jesus Christ receive the resurrection a body of glory (Philippians 3.21), so you can participate again the original plan of God to humanity.

ORAÇÃO

Leitura Bíblica: Lucas 18.9-14
O fim de todas as coisas está próximo. Portanto, sejam criteriosos e estejam alertas; dediquem-se à oração (1Pe 4.7).

Viajando para Jerusalém, provavelmente acompanhado de multidões e percebendo a motivação e intenção de alguns, Jesus contou a história que você acabou de ler, conhecida como a parábola do fariseu e do publicano. Naquela época, as pessoas costumavam ir a Jerusalém para adorar a Deus, porque lá era o centro das atenções religiosas.

Para aplicar a parábola, precisamos entender a quem era dirigida. Aparecem três tipos de ouvintes: 1) pessoas que estavam cheias de autoconfiança; 2) pessoas que estavam convictas de sua justiça própria e 3) pessoas que olhavam todos com desprezo. Também devemos saber quem são os atores da parábola, ou seja, fariseu e publicano. Os fariseus eram um grupo religioso-político que ensinava a lei ao povo com muitos detalhes e rigidez, porém não a praticava (veja Mateus 23.3). Os publicanos eram os que cobravam dos judeus impostos destinados aos romanos, oprimindo assim o povo sofrido. Por isso eram detestados e rejeitados.

Contudo, os dois vão ao templo para orar. Na sua oração, o fariseu apresenta a si mesmo a Deus e diz o que pode fazer, mas, no fundo, que não precisa de Deus. O publicano diz quem é e o que não pode fazer e que precisa de Deus. De acordo com o primeiro, todos são pecadores, menos ele mesmo. De acordo com o segundo, todos poderiam ser justos, menos ele mesmo. O fariseu deixou o templo do mesmo modo que entrou. Via os pecados dos outros, menos os seus. O publicano via os seus próprios pecados e por isso saiu justificado por Deus.

Apesar de muito oração, leitura bíblica e presença nos templos, muitas pessoas são do tipo fariseu. Portanto, quando oramos, precisamos sempre reconhecer nossa dependência de Deus e saber que ele nos recebe como somos e perdoa nossos pecados, não importa quais sejam - e que é disso que vivemos.

Pobres / Poor / Бедные

Leitura Bíblica: Mateus 5.3

Sempre haverá pobres na terra. Portanto, eu lhe ordeno que abra o coração para o seu irmão israelita, tanto para o pobre como para o necessitado de sua terra (Deuteronômio 15.11).

O versículo em destaque nos lembra algo que o próprio Senhor Jesus afirmou: "Os pobres vocês sempre terão com vocês, e poderão ajudá-los sempre que o desejarem" (Marcos 14.7). Isso não significa que a pobreza agrade ao Senhor, pois ele mesmo elaborou leis para que não houvesse desigualdades sociais, ou ao menos que as pessoas tivessem um meio de retomar seu sustento (veja em Deuteronômio 15 a lei sobre o cancelamento de dívidas). Mas Deus, conhecendo muito bem o coração humano, deu também instruções sobre o que fazer se houvesse pobres em seu povo: os outros deveriam ser generosos e ajudá-los. Não devemos encarar a miséria como algo normal e ficar conformados com isso. Nosso dever é fazer o possível para ao menos amenizar esta situação.
O versículo que lemos hoje faz parte da lista de bem-aventuranças proclamada por Cristo no Sermão do Monte. Ele cita uma pobreza diferente: a espiritual. São pessoas que se reconhecem necessitadas diante de Deus, não importando se possuem uma fortuna e residem em palácios ou se moram debaixo de uma ponte. Uma vez reconhecendo a sua miserabilidade e sua dependência de Deus, são estes os felizes. Jesus diz que de nada adianta ganhar o mundo inteiro (incluindo sua riqueza) e perder a alma (Mateus 16.26) - este será o mais miserável! Mas, pela fé em Cristo, o ser humano tem condições de viver feliz no tempo e na eternidade.
Se devemos ajudar as pessoas necessitadas materialmente, quanto mais as que são pobres em espírito! A estas, não devemos levar cestas básicas ou outras doações, mas o evangelho transformador de Cristo! Deus se interessa pelos pobres em ambas as situações e usa seus filhos como instrumentos para ajudá-los.

Bible reading: Matthew 5.3

There will always be poor people on Earth. Therefore, I command you that opens the heart to his Israeli brother, for both the poor and the needy of their land (Deuteronomy 15.11).

The featured verse reminds us of something that the Lord Jesus said: "the poor you will always have with you, and can help them whenever you wish" (mark 14.7). This does not mean that poverty pleases the Lord, because he himself drew up laws for which there was no social inequalities, or at least that people had a means to resume their livelihood (see Deuteronomy 15 the law on debt cancellation). But God, knowing very well the human heart, also gave instructions on what to do if there was poor in his people: the others should be generous and help them. We should not face the misery as something normal and be conformed to it. It is our duty to do everything possible to at least mitigate this situation.
The verse that we read today is part of the list of the Beatitudes proclaimed by Jesus in the sermon on the mount. He cites a different poverty: the spiritual. Are people who recognize themselves in need before God, regardless of whether they have a fortune and live in palaces or live under a bridge. Once recognising their current and their dependence on God, these are the happy. Jesus says that there is no point to gain the whole world (including his wealth) and lose the soul (Matthew 16.26)-this will be the most miserable! But, by faith in Christ, the human being is able to live happily in time and in eternity.

Leitura Bíblica: Salmo 130:1 a 8
Espero no Senhor com todo o meu ser, e na sua palavra ponho a minha esperança (Salmos 130:5).

O Salmo 130 é uma eloquente prova que os servos de Deus no Antigo Testamento tiveram seus momentos de depressão. No Novo Testamento não foi diferente (por exemplo: 1º Coríntios 1:8). É certo que foram depressões passageiras, mas tiveram.
Onde será que conseguiram forças para sair delas? O verso 5 revela a fonte em que se fortaleceram. Imagine uma pessoa saber que tem câncer. Outra recebendo a informação de que acaba de ser demitida do emprego. Outra é informada de que perdeu um parente ou um amigo amado. O salmista nos ensina como enfrentar esses momentos. Ele diz: Espero no Senhor... e na sua palavra ponho a minha esperança. Uma das maiores verdades da Bíblia saiu dos lábios de Jesus quando ele disse: "Neste mundo vocês terão aflições" (João 16:33). Na hora da aflição não há nada a fazer, senão esperar no Senhor. O texto também diz: “... e na sua palavra ponho a minha esperança".
Muitos que já têm uma certa idade poderão lembrar-se com o coração cheio de gratidão de alguma aflição ou dificuldade, pois Deus não os abandonou. Li um livro chamado "Graça Futura", que ensina a sempre olharmos para o futuro na certeza de que, lá na frente, por piores que venham a ser as aflições, Deus estará conosco. A base dessa esperança é que ao olharmos para o passado, descobriremos que, nas aflições passadas, Deus esteve presente. Podemos perguntar: Duvidar por que, se ele já deu provas de sua fidelidade?
Permitam-me um testemunho pessoal. Nosso primogênito recebeu aos cinco anos o diagnóstico de autismo. Naquela época, nem mesmo os psiquiatras sabiam muito a respeito dessa doença. Um famoso neuropediatra sentenciou: Na adolescência ele ficará perigoso para si, para a família e para a sociedade, e terá de ser internado. O chão fugiu de nossos pés. É certo que não temos um filho plenamente capaz, mas o prognóstico jamais se cumpriu. Ele está conosco, é dócil, quase independente.
Creia nas promessas. É um caminho curto para a paz.

I hope in the Lord with all my being, and in his word put my hope (Psalm 130: 5).

Psalm 130 is an eloquent proof that the servants of God in the Old Testament had their moments of depression. In the New Testament was no different (for example: 1 Corinthians 1: 8). It is true that were fleeting, but had depressions.

Sacrifício / Sacrifice / Жертвоприношение

LeituraBíblica: Hebreus 10.1-18

Por meio de um único sacrifício, [Cristo] aperfeiçoou para sempre os que estão sendo santificados (Hebreus 10.14).

Você já imaginou como funcionava o sistema de sacrifícios em Israel? Em Levítico há uma explicação detalhada de todos os procedimentos que o povo deveria seguir para obter o perdão divino por suas obras más e tornar-se santo. Um professor de teologia comentou que o adorador era muito mais exposto com esse sistema do que na atualidade. Todos viam quando lá ia ele, levando seu animal para que fosse sacrificado. "Desobedeceu ao Senhor novamente", pensavam. Como lemos hoje, a exigência de tais procedimentos era uma recordação de que se havia feito algo contra a Lei de Deus. Porém, nada daquilo podia purificar totalmente o adorador. Talvez ainda no mesmo dia ele tivesse de retornar à presença do sacerdote.
Hoje, sacrifícios daquele tipo seriam condenados pela sociedade pelo desperdício de alimento e pela crueldade com os animais. Mas, se continuamos a desagradar a Deus continuamente, por que não precisamos mais oferecer sacrifícios? Porque Cristo realizou o sacrifício perfeito quando entregou seu corpo na cruz. Não precisamos mais derramar sangue de animais, pois seu precioso sangue já foi derramado. Quem entrega sua vida a ele já foi perdoado e aceito por Deus, que esquece as falhas do passado. Agora, sempre que o desagradar, pode conversar com ele diariamente e, arrependido, confessar que errou e pedir seu perdão.
Hoje ele não deseja que sacrifiquemos animais nem que causemos dor ao nosso próprio corpo. Ele espera outro tipo de sacrifício: "Por meio de Jesus ofereçamos continuamente a Deus um sacrifício de louvor, que é fruto de lábios que confessam o seu nome. Não se esqueçam de fazer o bem e de repartir com os outros, pois de tais sacrifícios Deus se agrada" (Hebreus 13.15-16). Ainda assim, nada que possamos fazer pode ser comparado ao que Cristo fez em nosso lugar. Sejamos gratos a Deus por isso!

Sacrifice

Bible reading: Hebrews 10.1-18
Through a single sacrifice, [Christ] perfected forever those who are being sanctified (Hebrews 10.14).

Have you ever wondered how it worked the sacrificial system in Israel? In Leviticus there is a detailed explanation of all the procedures that the people should follow to obtain divine forgiveness for his evil works and become holy. A professor of theology commented that the worshiper was far more exposed with this system than in actuality. Everyone saw when he went there, taking your animal to be sacrificed. "Disobeyed the Lord again," thought. As we read today, the requirement of such procedures was a remembrance of who had done something against the law of God. However, nothing could fully purify the worshiper. Perhaps even on the same day he had to return to the presence of the priest.

Today, sacrifices of that type would be condemned by society by food waste and cruelty to animals. But, if we continue to displease God continually, why we no longer offer sacrifices? He expects another type of sacrifice: "through Jesus continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that confess his name. Do not forget to do good and to share with others, because of such sacrifices God is pleased "(Hebrews 13.15-16). Still, nothing we do can be compared to what Christ has done in our place. Let us be grateful to God for that!
