Segurança Leitura bíblica: Lucas 15.11-24  _________________ “Tudo é permitido”, mas nem tudo convém. “Tudo é permitido”, mas nem tudo edifica (1 Coríntios 10.23). _________________

Entendo que lugar de animal doméstico é em seu próprio quintal – isso evita problemas para ele mesmo e as pessoas. Meu cachorro, porém, sempre gostou de rua e dava um jeito de fugir quando alguém abria o portão. Nessas fugas podia desaparecer por horas. Aí eu ia atrás para levá-lo de volta, mas nem sempre conseguia.

Certa vez ele sumiu por muito tempo e fiquei preocupada. Descobri que não estava longe, mas, estando às voltas com outros cachorros e uma cadelinha, ele rosnava e nem me deixou chegar perto. Não havia o que fazer e voltei para casa, pois já era tarde. No dia seguinte abri a porta e deparei com ele deitado na varanda, sujo e machucado. Tremia todo, e, como se entendesse que fizera algo de errado, tinha os olhos baixos, sem olhar para mim. Embora incomodada com as confusões que ele causava com essas fugas, tratei dele com amor e carinho e, enquanto cuidava, “conversava” com ele, dizendo: “Viu só? Por isso não gosto de você fora de casa. A rua seduz, mas também oferece muitos perigos”. Diante disso me veio à mente o texto do filho pródigo e a lição que extraímos dele.

O mundo tem muitas seduções que nos atraem e divertem, mas nem tudo faz bem. O pior é que às vezes não percebemos as enrascadas em que nos metemos e pagamos pra ver. Rondamos pelas vias perigosas da vida e, enquanto não nos machucamos, não voltamos ao lar. Pensei que, tal como eu me preocupava com os perigos que meu cachorro enfrentava na rua, Deus muito mais se preocupa com o que eu e você podemos enfrentar no mundo.

Melhor seria atentar para as instruções do Pai, que buscam segurança e bem-estar para nós. Mas como somos desobedientes, que ao menos possamos lembrar-nos de que a presença do nosso Deus é o reduto seguro, o lugar para onde podemos voltar machucados e feridos para encontrar amor, cuidado e remédio para nossa alma.

Trembled all over, and, as if he understood that he had done something wrong, I had my eyes down, without looking at me. Although bothered by the confusion he caused with these leaks, I treated him with love and affection and, while taking care, "talked" to him, saying: "did you see? That's why I don't like you out of the House. The street seduces, but also offers many dangers ". This came to mind the text of the prodigal son and the lesson extracted him.

The world has many enticements that we attract and entertain, but not everything is good. The worst is that sometimes we do not notice the fixes that we got ourselves into and pay to view. Traffic through the dangerous roads of life and, while we don't hurt, don't we go back to the home. I thought, as I worry about the dangers that my dog was facing on the street, much more God cares what you and I can face in the world.

You'd better pay attention to the instructions of his father, seeking safety and well-being for us. But as we are disobedient, that at least we could remember that the presence of our God is the stronghold, the place where we can come back injured and wounded to find love, care and medicine to our soul.

Obediência / Obedience

Obediência Leitura bíblica: Gênesis 22.15-18  _________________ Os que conhecem o teu nome confiam em ti, pois tu, Senhor, jamais abandonas os que te buscam (Salmo 9.10). _________________

O texto lido conta a história de Abraão. Este foi um homem que teve momentos de experiência com o Senhor que ficaram que ficaram registrados na história. A atitude dele ao confiar no seu Deus, não tendo medo de entregar seu único filho, fez com que ele viesse a se tornar o patriarca de uma grande nação: o povo de Israel. Quando lemos a sua biografia, vemos que o juramento feito a Abraão foi cumprido na história. Ele realmente foi abençoado, e sua descendência multiplicou-se. O texto diz que tudo isso seria cumprido na vida de Abraão porque ele atendeu à ordem de seu Deus. Certamente não foi fácil para Abraão obedecer, pois ele vivia em um contexto e mundo tomado por idolatria. Mas isso não pôde impedi-lo de permanecer firme na fidelidade ao seu Deus.

Precisamos nos perguntar: “Há algo que me impede de obedecer a Deus?” Ou “O que está me impedindo de obedecer ao Senhor e confiar que, por mais difícil que seja compreender sua vontade, esta é a que deve ser executada?” Em alguns momentos talvez até estejamos ouvindo a voz do nosso Deus, mas isso não basta! Em outra tradução o texto diz “...obedecestes à minha voz” (ARA), ou seja, não basta ouvir, é preciso obedecer. No final, o que realmente fará a diferença será isto: a sua obediência.

Também é preciso coragem para fazer o que Abraão fez. E não somente coragem, mas amor pelo seu Deus. É fácil dizer que amamos ao Senhor; mas, e quando precisamos obedecer-lhe? Nosso amor realmente é expresso por nossa obediência irrestrita ao cumprimento da vontade de Deus? Que possamos olhar e seguir o exemplo de Abraão, homem valoroso que soube não somente ouvir, mas também obedecer à suprem vontade de seu Deus.

Obedience Bible Reading: Genesis 22.15-18   _________________ Those who know your name trust you, because you, Sir, will never abandon those who seek (Psalm 9.10). _________________

The text read tells the story of Abraham. This was a man who had moments of experience with you that were that were recorded in the history. His attitude to trust your God, not being afraid to deliver his only son, he would become the Patriarch of a great nation: the people of Israel. When we read his biography, we see that the oath to Abraham was fulfilled in history. He really was blessed, and his offspring multiplied. The text says that all this would be fulfilled in the life of Abraham because he attended the order of your God. It certainly wasn't easy for Abraham to obey, because he lived in a context and world taken by idolatry. But that might not stop him to remain firm in fidelity to his God.

We need to ask ourselves: "there's something that keeps me from obeying God?" Or "what's stopping me to obey the Lord and trust that, as hard as it is to understand his will, this is what should be done?" At times maybe even we are hearing the voice of our God, but that's still not enough. In another translation the text says "... obeyed my voice" (ARA), i.e. not just listen, you must obey. In the end, what really will make a difference is this: their obedience.

Also it takes guts to do what Abraham did. And not only courage, but love for his God. It's easy to say that we love the Lord; but when we need to obey him? Our love really is expressed by our unrestricted obedience to God's will? We can look at and follow the example of Abraham, brave man who knew not only hear, but also obey the Supreme will of God.

Perseverança / Perseverance

Perseverança Leitura bíblica: Neemias 6.1-16  _________________ Lembramos continuamente, diante de nosso Deus e Pai, o que vocês têm demonstrado: o trabalho que resulta da fé, o esforço motivado pelo amor e a perseverança proveniente da esperança em nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo (1 Tessalonicenses 1.3). _________________

Começar algo é fácil; levar até o fim é que se torna difícil: estudos, trabalho, vida espiritual, abandono de vícios, entre outros. A perseverança é uma virtude indispensável para a conclusão bem-sucedida de um projeto, plano ou trabalho. Quem desiste no meio do caminho fica frustrado, desanimado e fracassado. É certo que na vida todos temos obstáculos pelo caminho: lutas, perseguições, doenças e todo tipo de problemas.

Neemias (personagem da leitura bíblica de hoje) foi um grande exemplo de garra, determinação, força e perseverança: não desistiu do seu objetivo de reconstruir os muros de Jerusalém, mesmo enfrentando vários tipos de perseguições. Ignorou os insultos vindos daqueles que se opuseram aos seus esforços, confiou em Deus e obteve a vitória. Sempre pediu orientação divina em suas ações. Acreditou e compreendeu que o sucesso e os favores concedidos a ele e seu povo provinham de Deus.

Quem quer vencer na vida precisa ter perseverança e fé em Deus. Não desista de seus sonhos e objetivos, não dê ouvidos aos opositores, diga não a todas as vezes que tentarem destruir os seus planos se estes vierem de Deus. Ore a ele pedindo orientação e discernimento. Deus nos chama para perseverarmos e ter uma vida de vitória ao lado dele. Ele é maior e mais forte do que qualquer opositor.

Se você começou algum projeto ou trabalho e desistiu, retome. Nunca é tarde para recomeçar o projeto que Deus tem para sua vida. Se, porventura, você estiver com o seu relacionamento com o Senhor prejudicado, distante ou desanimado, busque sua restauração. Reconstrua sua vida espiritual, renove suas forças.

Perseverance Bible Reading: Nehemiah 6.1-16   _________________ Remember continuously, before our God and Father, what you have demonstrated: the work that results from faith, effort motivated by love and perseverance from the hope in our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 1.3). _________________

Start something is easy; take up the end does it become hard: studies, work, spiritual life, abandonment of addictions, among others. Perseverance is a virtue which is essential for the successful completion of a project, or work plan. Who gives up halfway gets frustrated, discouraged and failure. It is true that in life we all have obstacles along the way: fights, chases, diseases and all sorts of problems.

Nehemiah (character of biblical reading today) was a great example of guts, determination, strength and perseverance: not gave up his goal of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, even facing various types of persecutions. Ignored insults from those who opposed his efforts, trust God and got the victory. Always asked for divine guidance in their actions. Believed and understood that success and the favours granted to him and his people came from God.

Who wants to win in life must have perseverance and faith in God. Don't give up on your dreams and goals, don't listen to the naysayers, say no to every time they try to destroy his plans if these come from God. Pray to him for guidance and insight. God calls us to persevere and to have a life of victory to his side. He is bigger and stronger than any opponent.

If you start a project or job and gave up, resume. It's never too late to start the project that God has for your life. If, perchance, you are with your relationship with the Lord harmed, distant or discouraged, seek its restoration. Rebuild your spiritual life, renew your strength.

Volta por cima Leitura bíblica: Isaías 52.1-6  _________________ Não há diferença entre judeus e gentios... todo aquele que invocar o nome do Senhor será salvo (Romanos 10.12-13). _________________

Não creio que o compositor Paulo Vanzolini tenha se inspirado no texto da nossa leitura de hoje para compor sua famosa canção Volta por cima, mas a semelhança dela com o verso 2 salta à vista. Na canção, Vanzolini fala de alguém que caiu em algum fracasso, mas não se dá por vencido: levanta-se, sacode a poeira (o resultado ruim do fracasso) e supera a desgraça.

O texto bíblico dirige-se a Jerusalém, a cidade mais importante para os israelitas (o povo escolhido por Deus) e que representava também cada hebreu que se encontrava exilado na Babilônia. Por trás dessa situação há um fracasso – de Israel, por ter-se afastado do seu Deus –, mas agora “Jerusalém” também é convocada a levantar-se, a sacudir a poeira que a contamina e a ir em frente livre e purificada. Igual ao personagem de Volta por cima, não é? Não exatamente. Há uma diferença fundamental: o fracasso dos israelitas foi muito mais grave – desagradaram a Deus, a própria fonte da vida, o que se chama pecado e é mortal – razão por que não conseguiriam dar a volta por cima por si mesmos. Aliás, com isso apenas imitaram o que a humanidade toda – você e eu inclusive – havia feito (veja o texto em destaque).

Em troca de nada, por sinal: foi só perda. Porém, assim como o povo seria resgatado do exílio sem que seus dominadores recebessem algo por isso (verso 3), também podemos ser libertos da escravidão ao pecado de graça. O próprio Deus pagou o preço do resgate: custou a vida do seu Filho, Jesus Cristo. Daí a promessa que o apóstolo Paulo registra nos versículos em destaque, citando depois a continuação da leitura bíblica (Isaías 52.7) e festejando esta excelente notícia de que o caminho de volta para Deus está aberto! Por isso, levante-se, sacuda a poeira do pecado e confie em Jesus, que lhe dará vida nova e eterna com ele!

Back on top Bible Reading: Isaiah 52.1-6   _________________ There is no difference between Jews and Gentiles--those who invoke the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10.12-13). _________________

I don't think the composer Paulo Vanzolini has inspired in our reading today to compose his famous song around, but the similarity with verse 2 meets the eye. The song talks about someone who fell Vanzolini in some failure, but you don't give up: gets up, shakes the dust (the bad result of failure) and overcomes the disgrace.

The biblical text is addressed to Jerusalem, the most important city for the Israelites (the people chosen by God) and representing also each Hebrew who was exiled in Babylon. Behind this situation a failure – of Israel, for having clear of your God-, but now "Jerusalem" is also called up, shake the dust that contaminates and go ahead free and purified. Equal to the character back on top, right? Not exactly. There is a fundamental difference: the failure of the Israelites was much more serious – displeased the God, the very source of life, what is called sin, and is deadly-why couldn't turn things around for themselves. In fact, with this just imitated what mankind all – you and I – had done (see highlighted text).

In Exchange for nothing, by the way: it was just a loss. However, as the people would be rescued from exile without its rulers receive something for it (verse 3), also we can be freed from the slavery to sin for free. God himself paid the ransom: claimed the life of his son, Jesus Christ. Hence the promise that the Apostle Paul registers in verses in featured, citing after further biblical reading (Isaiah 52.7) and celebrating this excellent news that the path back to God is open! So, get up, shake off the dust of sin and trust in Jesus, that will give you new and eternal life with him.

Paciência divina / God's patience

Paciência divina Leitura bíblica: Marcos 12.1-12  _________________ Chamarei “meu povo” a quem não é meu povo; e chamarei “minha amada” a quem não é minha amada (Romanos 9.25). _________________

Esta parábola foi registrada também por Mateus e Lucas. Isso mostra como ela ficou gravada em suas mentes. Ela é riquíssima em ensinos.

Seguindo os versos, vemos que Deus é um investidor. Nada deixa faltar para que o investimento renda. A torre demonstra preocupação com a segurança. Deus tem uma expectativa com o investimento – espera frutos. Uma das expectativas é que os trabalhadores contratados sejam agradecidos pela oportunidade e também honestos. Que tratarão com cortesia os enviados em busca do resultado.

Esses ensinos nos dão um retrato fiel de Deus. Ele tem um objetivo ao nos colocar na terra. Nós mesmos podemos decidir como proceder, mas Deus cobrará prestação de contas de nós. O homem é retratado ali como completamente rebelde a Deus. Sua impiedade é apresentada num crescendo. Espancam o primeiro enviado e tomam posse do produto que pertenceria ao investidor. Vão batendo, maltratando, e chegam a matar alguns deles. Por fim, matam o próprio filho que o investidor tanto amava.

O procedimento do investidor em ir testando os lavradores na expectativa de que surgisse uma mudança para melhor no caráter deles sugere-nos a dimensão da grande paciência de Deus.

Por último, a parábola nos revela a grandeza de Deus. Mesmo com experiência tão amarga, pois mataram seu filho acreditando que ficariam com a propriedade se eliminassem o herdeiro, o investidor não desiste. Agora ele vai escolher outros lavradores e esperar melhores resultados. Aqueles que se julgaram herdeiros das riquezas de Deus perderam a herança. Hoje os seguidores de Jesus são os novos lavradores. Deus, em seu imenso amor, não desiste de suas criaturas! Quanta honra e glória devemos render-lhe por ser perseverante em nos preservar e resgatar apesar de toda a nossa rebeldia contra ele!

God's patience Bible Reading: Mark 12.1-12   _________________ Call "my people" who are not my people; and I'm going to call "my beloved" who is my beloved (9.25). _________________

This parable was recorded also by Matthew and Luke. This shows how she was recorded in their minds. She is very rich in teachings.

Following the verses, we see that God is an investor. No provider for investment income. The Tower raised concerns about security. God has an expectation with the investment expected fruits. One of the expectations is that workers are grateful for the opportunity and also honest. We will treat with courtesy the shipped on search result.

These teachings give us an accurate portrayal of God. He has a goal to put us on Earth. We can decide how to proceed, but God will charge accounts from us. The man is depicted there as the rebel God completely. His ruthlessness is shown in a growing. Beat the first submitted and take possession of the product that would belong to the investor. Will beating, torturing, and killing some of them. Finally, kill his own son that investors loved so much.

The procedure of the investor to go testing the farmers in the expectation that came a change for the better in their character suggests the scale of the great patience of God.

Finally, the parable reveals the greatness of God. Even with experience so bitter because it killed his son, believing that they would be with the property if you eliminate the heir, the investor does not give up. Now he will choose other farmers and expect better results. Those who judged the riches of God's heirs lost their inheritance. Today the followers of Jesus are the new farmers. God, in his great love, don't you give your creatures! How much honor and glory we must render him by be persevering in us to preserve and rescue despite all our rebellion against him.
