Ficar firme com Deus pode significar em alguns momentos um grande desafio, principalmente se você estiver comprometido também em compartilhar o Evangelho. Às vezes, falar do amor de Deus pode ser algo muito prazeroso aos ouvintes que estão sedentos por Deus, mas também pode ser duro e provocar revolta em corações amargurados e rebeldes. Neste último caso, quando se tem convicção de que se está realizando essa obra com amor, será importante lembrar que Deus chamou você e que você poderá também contar com seu cuidado e direção.

Conscientes de que somos frágeis e que nossa existência neste mundo é passageira, só será possível concluir vitoriosamente missões que Deus mesmo tenha concedido, porque somente ele pode garantir sucesso diante das adversidades. Assim foi com o profeta Jeremias, que permaneceu fiel a Deus diante de todos os desafios que fizeram parte da sua missão. Deus o sustentou exatamente como prometeu. É necessário lembrar ainda que, na maioria das vezes, as pessoas que rejeitam a voz de Deus são as que mais precisam de nossa oração e amor, pois estão com o coração endurecido pelo pecado. Conscientes de que a tarefa é anunciar e não convencer por insistência, os mensageiros e mensageiras do amor de Deus permanecem firmes na sua missão porque sabem que em Deus estão seguros. Se falar do amor de Deus é um privilégio, maior ainda é o de saber que ele cuida da nossa vida. Talvez você possa pensar que por causa disso nada dará errado e que nenhuma adversidade poderá perturbar sua missão. Não, não é isso. Significa sim que Deus estará com você dentro da adversidade e na vitória sobre ela. Mesmo que seja necessário enfrentar a adversidade do vale da sombra da morte (Salmo 23.4), Deus cuida dos seus e estará sempre com você.

Visões Leitura bíblica: Gênesis 15.2-6  _________________ ...e eu tive visões de Deus (Ezequiel 1.1). _________________

“O ser humano precisa ter visões do futuro – só assim consegue forças para trabalhar e desenvolver um projeto”, dizia um velho pastor. Afirmava também a nossa necessidade de “ver” realizado um sonho para que a luta pelo objetivo fosse suportável. Com visões conseguimos nadar contra a correnteza, vencer desafios e alcançar o que é impossível para muitos. Com visões teremos fé! Pela fé Noé construiu um barco quando ainda nem havia chuva; pela fé Abrão creu que seria pai de uma grande nação, mesmo sendo idoso e sua esposa estéril. Precisamos ter visão do que nos espera e do que nós esperamos.

Vou lhes contar uma ilustração: um homem passeava pela praia ao alvorecer, quando avistou um rapaz que parecia dançar ao longo das ondas que se quebravam na areia. Aproximando-se, percebeu que o jovem se abaixava, pegava estrelas do mar na areia e as atirava suavemente de volta à água. Chegando perto do rapaz, o homem perguntou: “O que você está fazendo?” “O sol está subindo, a maré baixando; se eu não as devolver ao mar, morrerão!”, respondeu o moço.

“Mas, meu caro jovem, há quilômetros e quilômetros de praias cobertas por estrelas do mar. Você não vai conseguir fazer qualquer diferença!”, contestou o outro. O jovem curvou-se, pegou mais uma estrela e atirou-a carinhosamente de volta ao oceano, além da arrebentação das ondas, e retrucou: “Fiz diferença para esta!” A atitude daquele jovem mostra algo especial que há em nós: fomos dotados da capacidade de fazer diferença! A Igreja tem o objetivo de levar Jesus Cristo e a reconciliação com Deus a todos os homens. Esta é nossa grande tarefa, e precisamos ter visão clara dela. Em João 4.35 está registrada uma frase de Jesus Cristo que nos incita a ter uma visão do mundo onde vivemos hoje: “Abram os olhos e vejam os campos! Eles estão maduros para a colheita”. É preciso levar essa boa notícia da salvação a todos!

Approaching, he realized that the young lean over, pick up a starfish on the sand and threw back into the water gently. Getting close to the boy, the man asked: "what are you doing?" "The Sun is rising, the tide dropping; If I don't return to the sea, will die! ", replied the boy.

That young man's attitude shows something special in us: we were gifted with the ability to make a difference! The Church aims to take Jesus Christ and the reconciliation with God to all men. This is our big task, and we need to have clear vision of her. In John 4.35 is registered a phrase of Jesus Christ that prompts us to have a vision of the world in which we live today: "open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. You need to take the good news of salvation to all!

Grandeza / Greatness

Grandeza Leitura bíblica: 1 Samuel 17.48-52  _________________ Quem se faz humilde como esta criança, este é o maior no Reino dos céus (Mateus 18.4). _________________

Encontramos neste episódio na frente de batalha alguns sinais de grandeza na pessoa de Davi. Ele ainda não era um homem preparado para a guerra; todavia, enquanto todos os soldados estavam aterrorizados diante do gigante Golias, Davi estava lá bem tranquilo.

No texto bíblico que você leu, Davi tinha acabado de ter um diálogo com o gigante filisteu, que se vangloriava do seu tamanho. Já Davi, quando falava, invocava a glória de Deus. Davi também agiu contrariamente aos demais soldados israelitas. Diz o texto que ele foi correndo para o combate. A coragem faz parte da grandeza. Ela se revela na nossa reação ao perigo.

Davi mostra grandeza quando nos revela que até as pequeninas coisas ou tarefas podem ser transformadas em grandes, desde que sejam vistas como oportunidades para glorificar a Deus. Ele venceu com uma pequena funda um guerreiro fortíssimo, armado com poderosas armas. A funda é um pedaço de couro com duas correias que servem para girar velozmente uma pedra e arremessá-la sobre o inimigo.

Outro sinal de grandeza Davi nos dá quando usa a própria espada de Golias para matá-lo. A funda de Davi estava a serviço da glória de Deus, a espada de Golias estava a serviço de um artefato de pedra transformado em deus. Mal sabia Golias que, em virtude da confiança de seu pequeno inimigo no Deus vivo, sua espada estaria a serviço desse Deus verdadeiro. Para Davi, seu Deus era maior que as armas poderosas de Golias. Por isso Davi guardou essas armas em sua tenda como símbolos da grandeza do Deus a quem ele servia.

Prezado leitor: você está deprimido, pensando que tudo que você tem é pouco? É insignificante? O que você faz não tem valor? Sua posição é sem importância? Coloque seus recursos a serviço e para a glória de Deus, e você verá como são grandes. Sua vida ganhará um sentido que você jamais imaginou!

Greatness Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 17.48-52   _________________ Who makes himself humble like this child, this is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 18.4). _________________

We found in this episode in front of battle some signs of greatness in the person of David. He wasn't yet a man prepared for war; However, while all soldiers were terrified in front of the giant Goliath, David was there very quiet.

In the biblical text that you read, David had just had a dialogue with the philistine giant, which boasted of its size. Already David when he spoke, invoked the glory of God. David also acted contrary to other Israeli soldiers. Says the text that he was running for the fight. The courage is part of greatness. It is revealed in our reaction to danger.

David shows greatness when we revealed that even the small things or tasks can be transformed into large, since they are seen as opportunities to glorify God. He won with a small blow a strong warrior armed with powerful weapons. The deep end is a piece of leather with two straps that serve to rotate quickly a stone and throw it on the enemy.

Dear reader: you are depressed, thinking that all you have is little? Is insignificant? What you do has no value? Its position is unimportant? Put your resources to service and for the glory of God, and you will see how are great. Your life will gain a sense that you could ever imagine!

Humildade / Humility

Humildade Leitura bíblica: Lucas 14.8-11  _________________ Quando você for convidado, ocupe o lugar menos importante, de forma que, quando vier aquele que o convidou, lhe diga: ‘Amigo, passe para um lugar mais importante’. Então você será honrado na presença de todos os convidados (Lucas 14.10). _________________

Eu e minha família somos membros de uma igreja cristã. Amamos viajar em nossas férias. Em viagem, sempre procuramos uma igreja para participar dos cultos. Há poucos anos, queríamos viajar para o Rio Grande do Norte. Oramos a Deus e entregamos tudo a ele, pois, além de indecisos quanto às datas e hospedagens, ainda possuíamos poucos recursos. Para honra e glória do Senhor, conseguimos uma incrível promoção que incluía o melhor hotel da cidade e ainda nos deixaria algum recurso para despesas extras.

No local de destino fomos ao culto. Achamos uma igreja pequena, com cerca de quarenta lugares: muito aconchegante, acolhedora e com uma sensação de paz tremenda vinda de Deus. Sentamos nos últimos lugares e logo um diácono veio nos receber com uma saudação cristã e um lindo sorriso, perguntando de onde éramos. Respondemos que éramos de São Paulo e estávamos em viagem de férias. Ele ficou admirado e muito feliz, dizendo que nunca nenhum turista visitara aquela igreja, e foi logo chamar o pastor. Este por sua vez nos convidou a sentar ao seu lado no púlpito, onde ficamos durante toda a celebração, com honras de convidados ilustres. Fomos duplamente presenteados por Deus naquela viagem: por nos dar mais do que pedimos ou sonhamos e também pela recepção calorosa na igreja, onde tivemos a oportunidade de testemunhar de Deus para todos os presentes.

A verdadeira grandeza vem do Senhor e começa com nossa humildade. Ocupar o lugar mais humilde leva-nos a grandes surpresas. Ser humilde não significa pensar menos de si mesmo, mas menos em si mesmo e mais nos outros. Jesus foi o mais humilde dos homens: deixou sua glória, veio ao mundo por amor a nós, sofreu, humilhou-se, foi humilhado e glorificado.

My family and I are members of a Christian Church. We love to travel in our vacation. On the road, we're always looking for a church to join cults. A few years ago, we wanted to travel to Rio Grande do Norte. We pray to God and commit everything to him because, besides undecided as to dates and accommodation, although we had few resources. For honor and glory of the Lord, we got an incredible promotion comprising the best hotel in town and still leave us any remedy for extra expenses.

At the place of destination we went to worship. We found a small church, with about of 40 places: very cozy, warm and with a feeling of tremendous peace from God. We sat in the last places and then a deacon came to see us with a greeting and a beautiful smile, wondering where we were. We answered that we were and we were on vacation. He was surprised and very happy, saying that no tourist visited the old church was soon call the pastor. This in turn invited us to sit next to the pulpit, where we stayed during the whole celebration, with honors for distinguished guests. We were doubly gifted by God on that trip: for giving us more than we ask or dream and also for the warm welcome in Church, where we had the opportunity to witness to God for all the gifts.

True greatness comes from the Lord and starts with our humility. Occupy the most humble leads to big surprises. Humility does not mean thinking less of himself, but less on himself and more on the other. Jesus was the most humble of men: let your glory, came into the world for love of us, suffered, humbled himself, was humiliated and glorified.

Confessar / Confess

Confessar Leitura bíblica: Neemias 9.1-3  _________________ Se confessarmos os nossos pecados, ele é fiel e justo para perdoar os nossos pecados e nos purificar de toda injustiça (1 João 1.9 _________________

O que leva alguém a confessar seus erros? Quando lemos Neemias 9.1-3, muitas são as imagens que vêm à mente. O relato descreve um costume que não é comum em nossos dias. Após um período em que os israelitas celebravam a Festa dos Tabernáculos (cap. 8), eles tomavam tempo para publicamente reconhecer suas culpas e demonstrar arrependimento.

Primeiramente o povo participava de um momento solene, quando se lia o livro da lei de Deus. É impressionante observar no capítulo 8 as vezes que aparece o verbo “entender”. Tal termo ajuda a compreender os sinais expressos nos versículos iniciais do capítulo 9, ou seja, o que acontece quando a mensagem de Deus é compreendida. A confissão sincera só aconteceu após o momento em que houve o entendimento da Palavra de Deus. Então vêm sinais de profunda tristeza, representada pelo uso de pano de saco, jejum e terra jogada sobre as cabeças. Hoje não há necessidade de fazermos uso de tais sinais, embora o jejum seja bíblico. Entretanto, a confissão continua sendo fundamental para todo cristão.

Mas o povo não se limitou à manifestação pública dos pecados. O texto mostra uma busca de santidade que envolve tempo. No mundo atual, no qual tudo acontece e é feito com muita rapidez, é quase inconcebível pensar em uma celebração com tantos dias e horas de estudo da Palavra de Deus e de confissão de pecados. O resultado final de uma atenção prolongada à Palavra foi um longo tempo de confissão e também de adoração (v 3). A sincera adoração inclui vários elementos, entre os quais ouvir a Palavra e confessar culpas. Como afirma Warren Wiersbe: “A adoração envolve a Palavra de Deus, pois a Palavra revela o Deus da Palavra”. Assim, o círculo ficou completo e entendemos que, sem ouvir a Palavra e confessar os nossos pecados, é difícil praticar uma adoração sincera.

Confess Bible Reading: Nehemiah 9.1-3   _________________ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1.9 _________________

What drives someone to confess their mistakes? When we read Nehemiah 9.1-3, many are the images that come to mind. The report describes a custom that is not common in our days. After a period in which the Israelites were celebrating the feast of Tabernacles (ch. 8), they took time to publicly acknowledge their guilt and demonstrate repentance.

First the people attending a solemn moment, when you read the book of the law of God. It is impressive to note in Chapter 8 the times that appears the verb "understand". Such term helps to understand the signs expressed in the initial chapter 9 verses, namely, what happens when the message of God is understood. Sincere confession only happened after the time when the understanding of the word of God. Then come signs of deep sadness, represented by the use of sackcloth, fasted and Earth thrown over their heads. Today there is no need to make use of such signs, although fasting is biblical. However, the confession remains fundamental to every Christian.

But the people was not limited to the public manifestation of sin. The text shows a search of Holiness that involves time. In today's world, in which everything happens and it is done very quickly, it's almost inconceivable to think in a celebration with so many days and hours of study of the word of God and confession of sins. The end result of prolonged attention to Word was a long time of confession and worship (v 3). The sincere worship includes various elements, among which the word and confess guilt. As stated by Warren Wiersbe: "worship involves the word of God, as the word reveals the God of the word." So, the circle was completed and we understand that, without hearing the word and confess our sins, it is difficult to practise a sincere worship.

Persista / Persist

Persista Leitura bíblica: Lucas 15.1-7  _________________ O Filho do homem veio buscar e salvar o que estava perdido (Lucas 19.10). _________________

Há quem desista facilmente de desafios, de problemas, de pessoas, dos familiares, da vida, de Deus... “Não tem mais jeito – dizem – já fiz tudo o que podia. Não adianta insistir. Desisto!” Um pouco mais de paciência, de amor, de persistência, salvaria um emprego, um relacionamento, uma vida... A impaciência é caracterizada por inquietude e ansiedade, que nos levam desde a irritação até à morte. A Palavra de Deus aconselha: “Evite a ira e rejeite a fúria; não se irrite: isso só leva ao mal” (Salmo 37.8).

O grande amor de Deus faz com que ele seja paciente conosco e não desista de um filho seu apesar de nossos erros, falhas e rebeldia e de nós desistirmos dele. Isaías 49.15 registra: “Haverá mãe que possa esquecer seu bebê que ainda mama e não ter compaixão do filho que gerou? Embora ela possa esquecê-lo, eu não me esquecerei de você”.

Deus poderia muito bem ter-nos deixado de lado. Afinal, ele, o Bom Pastor, ainda tinha noventa e nove ovelhas com ele. Poderia ter pensado: “Deixemos que ele siga seus próprios caminhos e se arruíne. Não quis dar-me ouvidos”. Essa pode ser a nossa atitude, mas não a de Deus. Ele não desiste de nós. Seu amor leva-o a nos buscar, não importa em que lugar ou que circunstâncias estejamos ou como vamos reagir à sua busca.

O Bom Pastor desceu de sua glória, assumiu a forma de servo, em tudo foi obediente e só voltou ao Pai levando-nos em seus braços, mesmo que isso lhe tenha custado a morte numa cruz. O amor venceu a impaciência, o descrédito, o desânimo, a rejeição, as incompreensões, a dor. As cem ovelhas estavam novamente reunidas em torno do Bom Pastor.

E você? Está para desistir de Deus, de amigos, filhos, esposo ou esposa? Não vai procurar salvar, num ato de amor, a centésima ovelha, ou seja, seus relacionamentos, seu matrimônio, seu lar? A centésima ovelha é tão valiosa diante de Deus quanto as noventa e nove em seu aprisco.

Persist Bible Reading: Lucas 15.1-7   _________________ The Son of man came to seek and to save what was lost (Luke 19.10). _________________

Some people give up easily from challenges, problems, of people, of family, of life, of God. "There's no way – they say – I've done everything I could. It's no use insisting. I give up! " A little more patience, persistence, love, save a job, a relationship, a life ... Impatience is characterized by restlessness and anxiety, that take us from irritation to death. The word of God advises: "Avoid the wrath and discard the fury; don't fret: it only leads to evil "(Psalm 37.8).

The great love of God causes it to be patient with us and don't give up on your child despite our errors, failures and defiance and we quit it. Isaiah 49.15 records: "there's going to be a mother who can forget his baby mama and still not have compassion on the son that generated? Although she can forget it, I won't forget you ".

God could well be left out. After all, he's the good Shepherd, still had 99 sheep with him. Could have thought: "let him follow their own paths and if ruin. I didn't want to listen to me. " This can be our attitude, but not of God. He didn't give up on us. His love takes him we get, no matter where or what circumstances we are or how we will respond to your query.

The good Shepherd stepped down from his glory, took the form of a servant, everything was obedient and just went back to Dad taking us in his arms, even if it has cost him the death on a cross. Love won the impatience, the disbelief, dismay, rejection, incomprehension, the pain. The 100 sheep were again gathered around the good Shepherd.

And you? Is to give up on God, friends, children, husband or wife? Will not find save, in an act of love, the hundredth sheep, that is, your relationships, your marriage, your home? The hundredth sheep is so valuable in the sight of God as the 99 in its fold.

A vida continua / Life goes on

A vida continua Leitura bíblica: Lucas 24.13-35  _________________ Graças a Deus, que sempre nos conduz vitoriosamente em Cristo (2 Coríntios 2.14). _________________

É fato que existem momentos na vida nos quais vêm desânimo, tristeza, frustração, em que perdemos as forças para continuar vivendo e lutando na busca dos nossos objetivos de vida. Isto pode acontecer por vários fatores: morte de um ente querido, desilusão amorosa, perda de emprego, acidente, doença, decepção com pessoas, etc.

Infelizmente essas coisas fazem parte da vida. Em tais momentos precisamos lembrar que ela continua e que não podemos entregar-nos à tristeza, ao desânimo e à frustração. É claro que precisamos processar tudo isso em nossa vida emocional, física e espiritual. Nessas horas é bom buscar ajuda de pessoas confiáveis, que possam nos ajudar de fato. Mas, antes de dar qualquer passo, é importante recorrer à ajuda e orientação de Deus, por mais que possamos estar com raiva, frustrados com ele ou até achar que ele nos abandonou. A realidade é que ele nos ama e conhece, sabe das nossas necessidades mais íntimas e está disposto a nos ajudar a vencer cada uma das nossas lutas, frustrações, decepções, tristezas e luto.

Por mais difíceis que sejam as circunstâncias pelas quais estejamos passando, quando confiamos em Deus ele sempre nos conduz em triunfo por meio de Jesus Cristo. Isto não quer dizer que não passaremos por circunstâncias difíceis, mas que em meio a elas somos levados a triunfar. É importante não ‘entregar os pontos’ nem se afastar de Deus – pelo contrário, precisamos aproximar-nos dele e continuar lutando debaixo de sua orientação, também buscando o seu consolo e conforto.

Da mesma forma que os dois discípulos a caminho de Emaús não identificaram a presença de Jesus por causa de sua tristeza, muitas pessoas voltam-se tanto para o que as entristece que não percebem a presença de Jesus Cristo ao seu lado, querendo lhes dar nova esperança e novo ânimo.

It is a fact that there are moments in life in which come dismay, sadness, frustration, we lost the strength to go on living and fighting in the pursuit of our goals of life. This can happen for several reasons: death of a loved one, heartbreak, loss of job, accident, illness, disappointment with people, etc.

Unfortunately, these things are part of life. At such moments we need to remember that it continues and we cannot deliver us to sadness, discouragement and frustration. Of course we need to process it all in our emotional, physical and spiritual life. At such times it is good to seek help from trusted people, that may help us in fact. But, before taking any step, it is important to make use of the help and guidance of God, as much as we can be angry, frustrated with him or even think that he left us. The reality is that he loves us and knows, knows of our most intimate needs and is willing to help us win each of our struggles, frustrations, disappointments, sorrows and grief.

For more difficult circumstances for which we are going through, when we trust in God he always leads us in triumph through Jesus Christ. This is not to say that walking through very difficult circumstances, but that among them are driven to succeed. It is important not to ' deliver ' points or get away from God – on the contrary, we need to close it and keep fighting under his guidance, also seeking his solace and comfort.

In the same way that the two disciples on their way to Emmaus did not identify the presence of Jesus because of their sadness, many people turn to both what the sad who do not realize the presence of Jesus Christ at his side, trying to give them new hope and new strength.
