PRIVILÉGIO
Leitura Bíblica: Hebreus 10.19-23
Aquele que
habita no abrigo do Altíssimo e descansa à sombra do Todo-poderoso pode dizer
ao Senhor: “Tu és o meu refúgio e a minha fortaleza, o meu Deus, em quem
confio” (Salmo 91.1-2).
No
versículo em destaque, o salmista canta sua certeza de abrigo e refúgio em Deus
como quem está à sombra de uma fortaleza. Para estar à sombra de alguém ou
algo, precisamos ficar bem próximos dessa pessoa ou objeto. Assim, ele conclui
que na presença do Senhor há direção, paz, alegria, provisão e realização. O
contrário também se aplica: longe de Deus, passamos necessidade! Afastar-se do
Senhor é não ter tempo para orar e ler sua Palavra e priorizar outras coisas, e
isso nos deixa cansados e exauridos. Pela oração nos aproximamos de Deus e nos
abrigamos à sua sombra!
O
texto da leitura de hoje fala exatamente do privilégio de ter acesso direto a
Deus. Basta recorrer a Jesus, pois ele é o novo e vivo caminho aberto até o
Pai! Antes de Cristo, era necessário fazer sacrifícios e ter ajuda de um
sacerdote. O acesso a Deus era restrito. Mas quando Jesus morreu o véu do
templo (que simbolizava a separação entre Deus e o ser humano) se rasgou. Agora
podemos nos achegar a qualquer momento a essa sombra e nada nos falta ali.
Toda verdadeira oração reconhece que o acesso à presença de Deus é um presente dele. Só entramos no Santo dos Santos, que representa a presença de Deus, porque Jesus entrou primeiro, apresentando o sacrifício requerido e cumprindo a justiça perfeita do Pai, substituindo-nos na morte, o único destino que nos cabia. É isto que declaramos toda vez que nos dirigimos a Deus em oração: é pela sua graça que o fazemos!
Toda verdadeira oração reconhece que o acesso à presença de Deus é um presente dele. Só entramos no Santo dos Santos, que representa a presença de Deus, porque Jesus entrou primeiro, apresentando o sacrifício requerido e cumprindo a justiça perfeita do Pai, substituindo-nos na morte, o único destino que nos cabia. É isto que declaramos toda vez que nos dirigimos a Deus em oração: é pela sua graça que o fazemos!

o melhor: podemos falar com ele a qualquer hora e em qualquer lugar. Esse
privilégio é tão precioso que vale qualquer esforço, por exemplo, acordar mais
cedo. Corra todos os dias para seu abrigo à sombra do Onipotente. Invista em
sua vida de oração. Seu lugar à sombra dele, bem pertinho, está garantido por
Cristo!

He who dwells in the shelter of the most high
and resting in the shadow of the Almighty can tell you: "you are my refuge
and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust" (Psalm 91.1-2).
In verse, the psalmist sings your sure shelter and refuge in God as one
who is in the shadow of a fortress. To be in the shadow of someone or
something, we need to be very close to that person or object. So, he concludes
that in the presence of the Lord for direction, peace, joy, provision and
realization. The opposite also applies: far from God, we passed need! Depart
from the Lord is not having time to pray and read your Word and prioritize
other things, and that leaves us tired and exhausted. By prayer we approach God
and shelter to your shade!
The text of the reading today speaks exactly the privilege of having
direct access to God. Just call on Jesus, because he is the new and living way
opened to the Father! Before Christ, it was necessary to make sacrifices and
take help of a priest. Access to God was restricted. But when Jesus died the
veil of the temple (which symbolized the separation between God and the human
being) ripped. Now we can come anytime that shadow and nothing missing there.
All true prayer acknowledges that access to the presence of God is a gift from him. Just entered the Holy of Holies, which represents the presence of God, because Jesus went first, showing the sacrifice required and delivering the perfect justice of the father, replacing us in death, the only destination that could fit us. This is what we find every time we drive to God in prayer: it is by your grace that we do!

Your place to shadow him, just inches away, is guaranteed by Christ!
