No controle / In the control

No controle

Even though many people live as if God didn't exist, he demonstrates his control over the entire universe. The Israelis had changed the true God for an idol. When everything was going well, they thought they didn't need God and chose to follow their own paths, because they trusted their own strength (verse 13b). Created your own god and despised the love and the law of the Lord, seeking to be like the other Nations until the issue of idolatry. Today, many do the same. May not have images of calves to worship, but there are other gods in his life. Do what everyone else is doing it "as if there were no consequences, and without stopping to reflect whether it is right or wrong. However, God is watching. Even though she loved so much to Israel (see Hosea 11), he could not overlook the infidelity of the people. They trusted themselves and the image-and everyone would be punished. Until the idol would be taken into exile, showing that God is far superior to any god that man can create. Worse, the Israelites would cry more for the fate of his beloved image than for having displeased the God! Would fear more for an object than for themselves. How were blind. So attached to a piece of wood they couldn't understand their own situation.
This text reminds us that, whatever we put in the place of God, is also under their control. No matter how much I trust my "Idol", God can do whatever you want with it. If we think that we don't need God and relying on our own strength, we will reap the fruits of our disobedience. So ask yourself: who comes first in my life? Who is my confidence? God approves of my actions? If you realize that you're not on the right path, seek the Lord and try to please him with her life. That he alone is the reason for your praise!

Our god is what we trust our lives. Better be the creator himself, who lives and loves us.

There is an Arab country today called Yemen, located in Western Asia between Oman and Saudi Arabia, the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. In the time of Solomon, his name was Sheba. The Queen of this country knew, probably through travelers, merchants of Fame, wealth, and wisdom of God of Solomon, King of Israel. Prepared then a motorcade to visit it in order to confirm if all I had heard was true. If we read the chapters prior to this, we will note the greatness of Solomon. It was a profound connoisseur of Jewish law (Torah), wise and the only fearing God. In Jerusalem, the Queen was immediately find Solomon. She prepared questions, maybe like this: as you rules without problems? Where did you get so much wealth? What book is this what you call the book of the law? And why don't you have a picture of your God? Were legitimate questions that required a response. And we know from the text read today that she received response to all of them, to the point of saying that everything was true, and in addition to heard. He continued, saying, "blessed be the Lord, your God, who liked you" (verse 9).
As Christians, we are often too challenged to justify the reason for our faith. Those who discover they are followers of the Lord Jesus Christ want to know why our Christian faith. The testimony that we in the family, in the community or at work requires a response of those who hear. And we must be prepared to express all why are followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. He even taught us that when we follow the truth, because he alone is the truth (John 14.6). Attracted by our faith, many wanting to discover the key to happiness that we demonstrate in our daily lives. They also have a date with the one who has done wonders in our lives.

Salvador da Pátria / Lifesaver

Salvador da Pátria
Leitura bíblica: Isaías 9.1-75
_________________
Será chamado Maravilhoso Conselheiro, Deus Poderoso, Pai Eterno, Príncipe da Paz (Isaías 9.6b).
_________________

Ele testemunhou a queda do reino do norte e presenciou a iminente queda do reino do sul.

Will be called wonderful counselor, Mighty God, everlasting father, Prince of peace (Isaiah 9.6 b).

Isaiah lived and preached in a troubled period in the history of the people of Israel. He witnessed the fall of the northern Kingdom and witnessed the imminent fall of the southern Kingdom. It was a time of great apprehension and a lot of ups and downs in the political scenario of the people of God.
On that, the Prophet announces the arrival of the Messiah-the Sent of God to save his people from misery and hopelessness. Is this savior who featured verse describes: wonderful counselor refers to someone who brings words to life and liberation for the oppressed. God Almighty is a term applied to the Lord himself Omnipotent. Eternal Father indicates that the Messiah will be a father to his people, protecting and caring for your needs forever. The Prince of peace is one that brings peace in every way.
It was a comforting message to the people suffered from the time of Isaiah. And is also an ad full of hope for us Brazilians – as a people and as individuals. Also we need a God who in the East, govern, protect and, above all, grant peace in all areas of our life.
The Israelites ended up interpreting the prophecy so wrong: they were awaiting the arrival of a military King, the bookstore of the domain of other peoples. Jesus was not what they expected. In fact, it was even better: instead of promoting a freedom just outside, he offered to release all that enslaves us interiorly: lies, evil, vices, bad thoughts, negative emotions, etc. If we allow, Jesus cleans it all and, then, gives us the greatest possible peace: peace with God and our fellow men.
Our country will only improve if you remember that we can only pass on what we already have. You have peace with God to share with others?

So that our Country be saved, Jesus transforms the life of each Brazilian.
