Não posso / I can't

Não posso Leitura bíblica: Mateus 11.28-30 _________________ Não posso levar todo este povo sozinho; essa responsabilidade é grande demais para mim (Números 11.14). _________________

No versículo em destaque, Moisés chegara ao seu limite: ele não aguentava mais carregar a responsabilidade de liderar o povo de Israel sozinho, pois aquela gente só reclamava de tudo e se rebelava contra Deus e o seu líder Moisés desde que fora tirado do Egito.

Você já chegou ao seu limite para enfrentar alguma situação? Ou talvez esteja diante de alguma situação difícil agora? Se for assim, você sabe bem o que Moisés sentiu e passou. Se você está enfrentando alguma situação complicada em sua vida agora e está no limite de suas forças, dizendo "não posso", "não aguento mais", "chega, acabou", então espero que tenha prestado bastante atenção ao texto de hoje.

Ali Jesus Cristo convida todos os que estão cansados e sobrecarregados a chegarem até ele e lhe entregarem a sua carga, porque ele lhes dará descanso, também para a alma. Quantas pessoas estão estressadas, já entrando em falência total de sua vida física, emocional e até espiritual? Jesus lhes dá descanso total! Experimente isso.

Moisés apresentou o seu problema a Deus e recebeu a solução (leia Números 11.14-17). Outros que apresentaram os seus problemas a Deus também tiveram essa experiência. Eu mesmo já entreguei o peso do problema e o meu esgotamento ao Senhor em algumas situações da minha vida, em que as coisas poderiam ter-se complicado, e o problema foi resolvido.

Não sei em que situação você está. Mas se estiver esgotado, sem forças para continuar, vá a Jesus Cristo, entregue a ele todo o peso que você está carregando, o seu esgotamento e desânimo, coloque-se debaixo da sua orientação e você verá que aquilo que parecia impossível será resolvido por ele sem que você se esgote. Jesus Cristo tem prazer em aliviar a sua carga e lhe dar toda força para continuar lutando e vencendo em cada situação. (HK)

I can't Bible reading: Matthew 11.28-30 _________________ I can't take all this people alone; This responsibility is too big for me ( Numbers 11.14). _________________

In verse in featured, Moses had his limit: he couldn't carry his responsibility to lead the people of Israel alone, because those people just complain of everything and if you rebelled against God and their leader Moses since out taken from Egypt.

You've reached your limit to face any situation? Or maybe you're faced with some difficult situation now? If so, you know what Moses felt and passed. If you are facing any situation in your life right now and is at the limit of their strength, saying "I can't", "I can't take it anymore", "no more, it's over", so I hope you paid close attention to the text of today.

There Jesus Christ invites all who are weary and burdened to reach him and deliver your load, because he will give you rest, also for the soul. How many people are stressed, since entering bankruptcy your life total physical, emotional and even spiritual? Jesus gives them total rest! Try this.

Moses presented his problem to God and received the solution (read Numbers 11.14-17). Others who presented their problems to God also had this experience. I've given the weight of the problem and my exhaustion to the Lord in some situations in my life, in which things could be complicated, and the problem was solved.

I don't know in what situation you are. But if you're exhausted, without the strength to continue, go to Jesus Christ, give him all the weight that you are carrying, their exhaustion and dismay, put yourself under your guidance and you will see that what seemed impossible to be solved by him without you runs out. Jesus Christ has delighted in relieving their burden and give you strength to continue fighting and winning in every situation. (HK)

Sofrimento / Suffering

Sofrimento Leitura bíblica: 1 Pedro 4.12-19 _________________ Se [você] sofre como cristão, não se envergonhe, mas glorifique a Deus por meio desse nome (1 Pedro 4.16). _________________

A cultura atual é particularmente avessa ao sofrimento. Talvez seja por isso que prosperem tanto os ensinos de que, pelo fato de Cristo ter levado nossas dores sobre si, nós só sofreremos se estivermos em pecado (tudo aquilo que desagrada a Deus). Não é isto que a Bíblia ensina: textos como o de hoje mostram que sofrer é parte da existência humana – e da vida cristã. Aliás, Jesus, que jamais pecou, experimentou o sofrimento em tal nível que foi retratado como o Servo Sofredor nas profecias de Isaías. Quantos mártires foram torturados e morreram violentamente por amor a Jesus? Ser cristão não é um salvo-conduto contra o sofrimento!

Há dificuldades e dores decorrentes do simples fato de viver neste mundo: doenças, acidentes, tristezas, perda de entes queridos... Muitas pessoas sofrem em consequência de suas más escolhas. Mas ainda hoje há, sim, quem sofra por fidelidade a Jesus; gente sendo presa, perseguida e morta por causa do Evangelho. Até mesmo em nosso país tão livre existe uma perseguição disfarçada, que julga e caçoa daqueles “trouxas” que, por sua fé em Cristo, fazem escolhas diferentes das impostas pelo meio cultural.

Quem quiser ser obediente ao Senhor pode esperar por provações – ou alguém acha que aqueles que vivem sem Deus assistirão impassíveis a um testemunho fiel? A vida traz sofrimentos, mas é bom lembrar sempre que a fidelidade a Jesus acarreta dificuldades que, longe de atestarem falta de fé ou pecado na vida, são a oportunidade de cada filho de Deus tomar parte dos sofrimentos de Cristo, conforme afirmou o apóstolo Pedro no v 13. E são motivo de alegria! Que o sofrer seja, pois, encarado com dignidade. Fortalecidos pelo Espírito Santo de Deus, sejamos fiéis até o fim e glorifiquemos a Deus como discípulos de Jesus! (MHJ)

 

A questão não é se sofreremos, mas por qual causa e com que nível de dignidade.

Suffering Bible reading: Pedro 4.12 1-19 _________________ If [you] suffers as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise to God through this name (1 Peter 4.16). _________________

The current culture is particularly averse to suffering. Maybe that's why thrive both the teachings of that because of Christ have taken our pains about yourself, we will suffer if we are in sin (anything that displeases God). This is not what the Bible teaches: texts like today show that suffering is part of human existence – and of Christian life. In fact, Jesus never sinned, experienced the suffering on such a level that was portrayed as the suffering servant in the prophecies of Isaiah. How many martyrs were tortured and died violently out of love for Jesus? Being a Christian is not a pass against the suffering!

There are difficulties and pains arising from the simple fact of living in this world: diseases, accidents, sadness, loss of loved ones. Many people suffer as a result of their bad choices. But still today there are, Yes, who suffer for fidelity to Jesus; people being arrested, persecuted and killed for the sake of the Gospel. Even in our country so free there is a Chase in disguise, who judges and kids of those "Muggles" who, by their faith in Christ, make choices different from those imposed by the cultural milieu.

Who want to be obedient to the Lord can wait for trials – or someone thinks those who live without God will attend impassive to a faithful witness? Life brings suffering, but it is always worth remembering that fidelity to Jesus entails difficulties, far from declare lack of faith or Sin in life, are the opportunity of every son of God taking part of the sufferings of Christ, as stated the Apostle Peter in v 13. And are a cause of joy! The suffering is therefore faced with dignity. Empowered by the Holy Spirit of God, let us be faithful until the end and glorify the God as disciples of Jesus. (MHJ)

The question is not whether we will suffer, but for what cause and with what level of dignity.

Outdoor

Outdoor Leitura bíblica: Deuteronômio 11.18-20 _________________ Gravem estas minhas palavras no coração e na mente (Deuteronômio 11.18a). _________________

Deus quer que a sua Palavra esteja no centro de nossas vidas, guardada no coração (Salmo 119.11). No texto de hoje, ele mostra como, quando e onde podemos estar com ele, por meio da leitura, estudo e divulgação dos seus ensinos. Também nos orienta a repassá-los aos nossos filhos, aproveitando todas as atividades e lugares. Além do Antigo Testamento, também no Novo este assunto é abordado: a Bíblia é definida como inspirada por Deus, útil para ensinar, repreender, corrigir e educar para que sejamos perfeitamente habilitados para toda a boa obra (2Timóteo 3.16-17). Um exemplo de boa obra é ensinar (Mateus 28.20), pregar (Marcos 16.15) e testemunhar (Atos 1.8), em obediência ao Senhor e por amor ao próximo.

A orientação sobre onde e quando ter a Palavra em destaque (em todo lugar e sempre) faz com que os cristãos sintam o privilégio de ser o outdoor de Deus. Sua missão é compartilhar o que o Senhor faz em suas vidas para que todos vejam. É compensador viver a Palavra de Deus de forma prática, bem como levá-la aos que ainda não ouviram falar de Cristo e da graça que ele dá a quem crê exclusivamente nele,  “o caminho, a verdade e a vida” (João 14.6a). Assim, conforme ele mesmo disse, somente por meio do Senhor Jesus podemos chegar ao Pai.

Se já entregamos nossa vida a Cristo, cabe-nos obedecer à missão. Se ainda não, é preciso arrepender-nos de tudo o que desagrada a Deus, pedindo seu perdão e passando a andar em seus caminhos. Assim, faremos parte da família de Deus e, para crescer espiritualmente, precisamos aprender mais sobre a Palavra, ouvindo a voz de Deus por meio dela e sendo orientados por ele. O Senhor deseja ter um relacionamento com seus filhos e lhes promete uma vida plena (João 10.10b) e eterna com ele. Esta plenitude não significa, necessariamente, aumento no número de anos, mas qualidade de vida: busca por santidade e perfeição, tendo como modelo o próprio Cristo. (ETA)

Os cristãos são o outdoor de Deus: que os outros vejam neles somente o amor!

Outdoor Bible reading: Deuteronomy 11.18-20 _________________ Record these sayings in the heart and mind (Deuteronomy to 11.18). _________________

God wants his word is in the center of our lives, guarded in the heart (Psalm 119.11). In today's text, he shows how, when and where we can be with him, through reading, study and dissemination of his teachings. Also guides us to pass them on to our children, taking advantage of all the activities and places. In addition to the old testament, also new this subject is covered: the Bible is defined as inspired by God, useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and educating to be perfectly entitled to every good work (2Timothy 3.16-17). An example of good work is teach (Matthew 28.20), preaching (Mark 16.15) and witness (Acts 1.8) in obedience to God and love of neighbor.

The guidance on where and when have the word highlighted (everywhere and always) causes the Christians feel privileged to be the Billboard of God. Its mission is to share what the Lord is doing in their lives for all to see. Is rewarding living the word of God in a practical way, as well as taking it to those who haven't heard of Christ and the grace which he gives to those who believe in him, only "the way, the truth and the life" (John 14.6 a). So, as he himself said, only through the Lord Jesus we can come to the father.

If I commit our lives to Christ, we must obey to the mission. If you haven't, you need to repent of everything which displeases God, asking for forgiveness and passing out in their paths. So, we'd be part of the family of God and to grow spiritually, we need to learn more about the word, hearing the voice of God through her and being driven by him. You want to have a relationship with their children and promises them a full life (John 10.10 b) and eternal with him. This fullness does not necessarily mean increasing the number of years, but quality of life: search for Holiness and perfection, taking as a model the Christ himself. (ETA)

Christians are the Billboard of God: that others see in them only the love!

O juízo / The judgment

O juízo Leitura bíblica: Joel 3.1-16 _________________ Ali os julgarei por causa da minha herança (Joel 3.2). _________________

Já tive muito medo do juízo de Deus. Ainda mais quando, após ter feito algo de errado, ouvia aquele tipo de alerta “Deus castiga quem faz isso”. Mais tarde li o livro de Apocalipse, e o medo era a única coisa que brotava daquelas letras sombrias de histórias estranhas e incompreensíveis. É o que dá quando somos ensinados que Deus é como aquele “velho do saco” que está por aí a vagar pelo mundo com uma vara nas mãos e um saco de pano nas costas, esperando para castigar os maus e, quem sabe, jogar um doce aos pés dos que fazem o bem. Caberia essa imagem punitiva e ameaçadora de Deus no texto que lemos hoje?

Parece que sim. Deus reunirá todos os povos para um julgamento (verso 2). Vários crimes graves foram cometidos: roubaram e repartiram a terra de Deus entre si (versos 2-3), escravizaram crianças e promoveram a prostituição (verso  3), roubaram os bens do povo de Deus (verso  5), levaram o povo de Deus cativo (verso  6). Diante de tanta atrocidade, Deus proclama guerra contra os malfeitores. Ele conclama os povos a se armarem, pois ele batalhará contra eles. A guerra está declarada, Deus decidirá em breve o futuro das nações.

Apesar da cena atemorizante, não há o que temer. O juízo anunciado aos que a vida toda se ocuparam sistematicamente em fazer o mal não se aplica àqueles que confiaram no poder de Deus para reconciliá-los com ele. Enquanto Deus conclama seus inimigos a transformar arados em espadas, os que são fiéis a Deus devem transformar suas espadas em arados (Miqueias 4.3). Apesar de não haver mais luz e esperança para a maldade, os que confiam no Senhor encontrarão nele refúgio e amparo.

Deus chama de meu povo os que lhe pertencem; a terra do seu povo chama de minha terra; as riquezas dessa terra, de minha riqueza. Os que creem em Deus e nele confiam são propriedade de Deus e por isso não precisam temer o juízo, antes devem confiar em Deus, que dará a justa sentença no final. (A.S)

 

O Senhor é a nossa fortaleza; nele não há o que temer.

The judgment Bible reading: Joel 3.1-16 _________________ There the judge because of my inheritance (Joel 3.2). _________________

I've had very afraid the judgment of God. Even more when, after doing something wrong, I heard that alert type "God punishes who makes it." Later I read the book of revelation, and the fear was the only thing that grew out of those bleak lyrics of strange stories and incomprehensible. You see what happens when we are taught that God is like that "old bag" who's out there to wander the world with a stick in his hands and a cloth bag in the back, waiting to punish the bad guys and, maybe, play a sweet at the feet of those who do good. It would be punitive and threatening image of this God in the text we read today?

It looks that way. God will gather all Nations for judgment (verse 2). Several serious crimes were committed: robbed and divided the land among themselves God (verses 2-3), enslaved children and promoted the prostitution (verse 3), stole the goods of the people of God (verse 5), led the people of captive God (verse 6). Before such atrocity, God proclaims war against evildoers. He calls on people to arm themselves, for he shall do battle against them. War is declared, God will decide soon the future of Nations.

Despite the nightmarish scene, there is nothing to fear. The judgment announced to the whole life if systematically occupied in doing evil does not apply to those who relied on the power of God to reconcile them with him. While God calls his enemies to turn plowshares into swords, those who are faithful to God shall turn their swords into plowshares (Micah 4.3). Although there are no more light and hope for the evil, those who trust in the Lord will find him refuge and protection.

God calls my people those who belong to him; the land of his people called my land; the riches of this land, of my wealth. Those who believe in God and trust in him are owned by God and therefore need not fear the judgment before they must trust God, he will give a fair sentence at the end. (A.S)

The Lord is our strength; in it there is nothing to fear.
