Chove adiante

Leitura bíblica: 2 Coríntios 12.7-10

Conheçamos o Senhor; esforcemo-nos por conhecê-lo. Tão certo como nasce o sol, ele aparecerá; virá para nós como as chuvas de inverno, como as chuvas de primavera que regam a terra. (Oseias 6.3).

Lutar contra certas coisas que só passam com o tempo é desperdiçar energia. Uma curtíssima história chinesa ilustra bem isso: no meio do campo começou a chover. As pessoas corriam em busca de abrigo, exceto um homem, que continuava a andar lentamente. “Por que você não está correndo?” – perguntou alguém. “Porque também está chovendo na minha frente” – foi a resposta.

Em certos momentos temos de esperar a chuva passar. Só a certeza de que ela cessará já é um grande alento para nós. Os problemas não devem nos assustar, eles nos aproximam mais de Deus. Na fraqueza conhecemos uma nova força, o poder de Cristo em nós. E, por mais estranho que pareça, podemos dizer como Paulo: “Regozijo-me nas minhas fraquezas”.

Nesses momentos é possível experimentar bem de perto a graça de Deus. Veremos que, apesar de ainda nos faltar muita coisa, a graça de Deus é o que precisamos. Nossa visão sobre o que é realmente importante muda radicalmente. Aprendemos a buscar o que é melhor e a valorizar pequenos momentos. As pessoas se tornam mais importantes, o tempo é aproveitado com o que é edificante. Nosso esforço tem um foco: conhecer a Deus.

Portanto não pare, não desista, não entre em colapso diante dos problemas. Acredite que o momento de você se tornar realmente forte não é quando tudo parece bem, mas quando percebe que sua força depende realmente de Deus.

Deus se importa conosco. Muitos que aparentemente são fortes serão abatidos pelo seu egoísmo e distanciamento de Deus, enquanto os que esperam no Senhor terão novas forças mesmo passando por muitas dores. “O arco dos fortes é quebrado, mas os fracos são revestidos de força” (1 Samuel 2.4).

Quando somos fracos é que podemos ser fortes, pois Deus quer nos carregar em seus braços.

Know the Lord: let us to meet him. As sure as the sun rises, it will appear; will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the Earth. (Hosea 6.3).

Fight against certain things only pass with time is wasting energy. A very short Chinese history illustrates that: in the middle of the field started to rain. People scurried in search of shelter, except for one man, who kept walking slowly. "Why aren't you running?" – asked someone. "Because it's raining on my face" was the answer.

Sometimes we have to wait for the rain to pass. Just make sure she will cease already is a great encouragement to us. The problems should not scare us, they bring us closer to God more. In weakness we know a new force, the power of Christ in us. And, strange as it may seem, we can say as Paul: "I rejoice in my weaknesses".

At these moments it is possible to experience up close the grace of God. We will see that, although we still miss a lot, the grace of God is what we need. Our view on what's really important changes radically. Learn how to get what is best and cherish little moments. People become more important, time is used with what is uplifting. Our effort has one focus: knowing God.

So don't stop, don't give up, don't get down on the problems. Believe that the moment you become really strong isn't when everything seems fine, but when you realize that your strength really depends on God.

God cares about us. Many apparently are strong will be slaughtered by your selfishness and aloofness of God, while those who wait on the Lord will have new forces even going through a lot of pain. "The arc of the forts is broken, but the weak are coated with strength" (1 Samuel 2.4).

Leitura bíblica: Jó 42.7-17

Mudou o Senhor a sorte de Jó... (Jó 42.10a).

____________________________________

Jó viveu uma experiência muito dura de perda e sofrimento. Mas não foi somente isso; ele também teve de lutar contra o conceito teológico de que todo sofrimento seria fruto de algo errado que a pessoa fazia. Até os amigos de Jó seguiam essa concepção. No entanto, contrariamente a este pensamento, o texto faz outras afirmações sobre esse personagem, a saber: era um homem que liderava sua família e ainda desempenhava o papel de sacerdote. Era íntegro, que significa ser moralmente correto. Era honesto e também temia a Deus e se desviava do mal, o que indica que era alguém que tinha ética. Por isso, a grande questão passou a ser: como alguém tão justo como Jó podia viver uma experiência de tantas perdas e, em vez de ser honrado, sofrer em tantas áreas? Materialmente, foi da riqueza à pobreza; socialmente, da honra ao desprezo; fisicamente, da saúde para a doença; emocionalmente, da alegria ao desespero. Que experiência terrível viveu esse homem moralmente perfeito!!!

Mesmo diante dessa dura experiência, Deus olhava para Jó; é o que mostra o texto lido. Depois de tudo o que ele viveu, Deus diz aos amigos dele: “…vocês não falaram o que é certo a meu respeito, como fez meu servo Jó” (42.7c e 8c). Essa fala aparece duas vezes no final do texto, ratificando que Jó realmente era o que o texto dizia a seu respeito no início do livro. Se não fosse assim, não teria orado em favor de seus amigos como confirma o v 9, mesmo tendo ouvido deles tantas palavras duras. A experiência sofrida de Jó fez com que ele fosse ainda mais honrado; não somente isso, mas também que o seu Deus fosse exaltado, pois todos conheceram o poder do Senhor, que restaura o ser humano, independentemente da situação vivida. O cristão também sofre, e tem muito a aprender com a atitude de Jó de submeter-se a Deus. Qual tem sido a sua reação diante das adversidades da vida?

Changed the luck of Job... (Job 42.10a).

Job lived a very hard experience of loss and suffering. But it wasn't just that; He also had to fight against the theological concept that suffering would be the result of something wrong the person did. Until the friends of job followed this conception. However, contrary to this thought, the text makes other assertions about this character: he was a man who led your family and even played the role of a priest. Was healthy, that means to be morally right. It was honest and also feared God and eschewed evil himself, which indicates that he was someone that had ethics. So, the big question became: how someone so fair as Job could live an experience of so many losses and, instead of being honored, suffer in so many areas? Materially, was the wealth to poverty; socially, the honor of contempt; physically, health for the disease; emotionally, from joy to despair. That terrible experience lived this morally perfect man!

Even in the face of this ordeal, God looked at Job; that's what shows the text read. After all he's lived, God says to his friends: "... you didn't say what is right, as my servant Job" (42.7 c and 8 c). That line appears twice at the end of the text, confirming that job really was what the text said to your respect at the beginning of the book. If it were not so, would not have prayed for his friends as confirms the v 9, even having heard of them so many harsh words. The suffering of job experience made him even more honored; not only that, but also that the your God was exalted, because all the power of the Lord, which restores the human being, regardless of the situation. Christian also suffers, and has a lot to learn from the job's attitude to submit to God. What has been your reaction to adversities of life?

Leitura bíblica: Romanos 13.11-14

Enquanto é dia, precisamos realizar a obra daquele que me enviou. A noite se aproxima, quando ninguém pode trabalhar (João 9.4).

Uma propaganda de veículo com o título “Viva o agora” traz um vídeo muito interessante em que aparece um homem segurando uma placa em uma rua com os dizeres “O fim está próximo”. Nisso encosta ali um carro novo e um jovem de dentro dele grita: “O fim está próximo? Então entra aí, vamos aproveitar.” Eles então rodam pela cidade passeando e se divertindo muito. No final do vídeo, o jovem deixa o homem novamente na rua e ele agora segura uma nova placa que diz: “Viva a vida louca”.

Diante da frase “O fim está próximo” podemos tomar duas decisões totalmente opostas: a vida é curta, vamos aproveitar, viver a vida louca; ou dizer: a vida é curta, vamos aproveitá-la servindo a Deus, preparando-nos para o encontro com ele. Lembrar que a vida é curta pode ser um incentivo a lutar ou desistir.

Viver o agora sem pensar no que vai acontecer amanhã é uma atitude displicente. Assim, muitos compram agora sem ter como pagar amanhã. Abusam de alimentos e bebidas sem se preocupar com o peso e a saúde amanhã. Muitos vivem sem o temor de Deus hoje sem pensar no grande dia final em que todo joelho se dobrará perante Deus. Deus nos dá a vida para viver o agora com responsabilidade, liberdade e alegria. Muito mais feliz é quem a cada dia cumpre a sua missão do que alguém que só pensa em diversão.

Jesus cumpria a sua missão todos os dias em que viveu nesta terra. Ele disse que era necessário fazer a obra de Deus. O mesmo era obrigação de seus discípulos. Jesus disse: “É necessário que façamos”, “Precisamos realizar”. Ele contava com a ajuda dos seus seguidores. Jesus chama de dia o tempo que ele tinha de vida na terra e de noite o dia em que suas obras neste mundo cessariam.
O fim está próximo. A noite vem chegando. É o momento de despertarmos para uma vida que agrade a Deus.

Reading biblical: Romans 13.11-14

While it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. The night is coming, when no one can work (John 9.4).

A vehicle with the title "live in the now" brings a very interesting video in which appears a man holding a sign on a street with the words "the end is near". This pull over there a new car and a young man inside him cries: "the end is near? So come on in, Let's enjoy it. " They then run around town walking and having a great time. At the end of the video, the young man leaves the man again on the street and he now holds a new sign that says: "long live the crazy life".

Before the phrase "the end is near" can take two totally opposite decisions: life is short, Let's enjoy, live the crazy life; or say: life is short, Let's seize it serving God, preparing for the meeting with him. Remember that life is short can be an incentive to fight or give up.

Live now without thinking about what will happen tomorrow is a cavalier attitude. Thus, many buy now without having to pay tomorrow. Abuse of food and drinks without worrying about weight and health tomorrow. Many live without the fear of God today without thinking about the big final day when every knee shall bow before God. God gives us life to live now with responsibility, freedom and joy. Much happier is who every day keeps your mission than someone who thinks only in fun.

Jesus fulfilled the mission your every day in which he lived on this earth. He said it was necessary to do the work of God. The same was obliged to his disciples. Jesus said: "it is necessary that we make", "we need to perform". He had the help of his followers. Jesus calls during the day as long as he had of life on Earth and at night the day their works in this world would cease.
The end is near. The night arrives. Now is the time for us to wake up to a life that pleases God.
