bem?

Vivemos por fé, e não pelo que
vemos (2 Coríntios 5.7).

Perguntei “Tudo bem?” a um
amigo. Ele respondeu: “Tudo é muita coisa!” Este é o seu jeito divertido de
fazer pensar. Pergunta-se por educação e espera-se que a pessoa minta que
“tudo” está bem: afinal, quem está disposto a ouvir problemas alheios? Minha
sábia mãe dizia: “Minha unha encravada dói mais que o câncer do vizinho”. Por
mais que os problemas alheios sejam grandes, os meus (por insignificantes que
sejam) doem em mim. Às vezes, pequenas dificuldades do dia a dia se acumulam e
parecem tornar-se um fardo insuportável, trazendo desesperança. Alguém já disse
que 10% do nosso sofrimento decorre das circunstâncias em si, e os outros 90%
da maneira como as encaramos. É o jeito de lidar com a dor que a faz ser mais
ou menos intensa.
Quando Jesus voltar,
consumará o Reino de Deus. Não existirá mais maldade, egoísmo, ódio, inveja nem
guerras. Morte, doença, caduquice, nunca mais. O trabalho não será penoso, mas
uma alegria. Paz não será algo a negociar, mas o jeito normal de viver. Não
será necessário incentivar a solidariedade nem lutar pela justiça: o amor
fraternal será a regra. Referindo-se à vida cristã hoje e também ao futuro no
Céu, a Bíblia diz que “olho nenhum viu, ouvido nenhum ouviu, mente nenhuma
imaginou o que Deus preparou para aqueles que o amam” (1 Coríntios 2.9). Quanto
o seu coração arde em expectativa por esta promessa?
Reagirei em consonância
com o que minha atenção focalizar. Se tiver o foco nas circunstâncias, meu
humor será flutuante e tenderá a ser cada vez pior. Mas creio em Jesus e em sua
promessa; posso aguardar com ardente expectativa e manter meus olhos na
realidade que virá. Assim sofrerei apenas os 10% relativos às circunstâncias
reais, que fazem parte da vida, mas me alegrarei antecipando a experiência do Reino
de Deus.

I said, "okay?" to a friend. He replied: "Everything is a
lot." This is the fun way to do your thinking. Question for education and
it is expected that the person lie that "everything" is right: after
all, who's willing to listen to people's problems? My wise mother used to say:
"My ingrown toenail hurts more than the neighbor's cancer". As much
as the people's problems are large, my (for insignificant they are) hurt me.
Sometimes, small day to day difficulties accumulate and seem to become an
unbearable burden, bringing despair. Has anyone ever told you that 10% of our
suffering is due to the circumstances itself, and the other 90% of the way we
see. Is the way to deal with the pain that makes it more or less intense.
When Jesus comes back, consumará the Kingdom of God. There will be no
more evil, selfishness, hatred, envy no wars. Death, disease, second childhood,
never more. The work will not be painful, but a joy. Peace will not be
something to negotiate, but the normal way of living. You do not need to
encourage solidarity or fight for Justice: the brotherly love will be the rule.
Referring to the Christian life today and also the future in heaven, the Bible
says that "no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind imagined what God
has prepared for those who love him" (1 Corinthians 2.9). As your heart
burns in anticipation for this promise?
React in line with what my attention focus. If you have the focus in the
circumstances, my mood is buoyant and will tend to be worse and worse. But I
believe in Jesus and in your promise; can I wait with ardent expectation and
keep my eyes on the reality to come. So will suffer only the 10% relating to
the actual circumstances, which are part of life, but will rejoice in
anticipation of the experience of the Kingdom of God.
