Em muitas partes da Bíblia
encontramos textos que falam da proteção de Deus aos seus fiéis. Por que então
tantas pessoas passam por sofrimento? Por que muitas pessoas tementes a Deus
morrem em catástrofes? Que dizer também de crianças e recém-nascidos que sofrem
e morrem? Enfim, não há limite para os questionamentos.
Assim sendo, vamos tentar esclarecer alguns fatos: a presença de Deus na vida do cristão não é a garantia de imunidade aos problemas e sofrimentos. A leitura de hoje conta como José sofreu injustiças no Egito. No entanto, ele já tivera sonhos proféticos anunciando que seus irmãos e até seu pai dependeriam dele, mas antes que isso acontecesse, ele passou por tudo aquilo que você leu hoje – e naquela prisão ele ficou esquecido por vários anos. Em meio a tudo aquilo, porém, Bíblia declara quatro vezes que “o Senhor estava com José” (Gênesis 39.2, 3, 21, 23).

Em Daniel 3 conta-se como
Sadraque, Mesaque e Abede-Nego foram lançados em uma fornalha por se manterem
fiéis a Deus, mas o Senhor esteve com eles no meio das chamas e os libertou sem
que fossem sequer chamuscados.
Outro relato bíblico sobre
heróis da fé que passaram por muitas aflições é Hebreus 11.35-37: “Uns foram
torturados e recusaram ser libertados, para poderem alcançar uma ressurreição
superior…” e o texto prossegue descrevendo os sofrimentos de toda espécie a que
foram submetidos (confira). Deus não estava dormindo quando os heróis da fé
padeceram aquelas aflições. Ele tinha um propósito para cada situação, até
mesmo ao permitir a morte de seus fiéis para que servisse de exemplo também
para nós. Portanto, confie em Deus em toda situação, porque “sabemos que, se
for destruída a temporária habitação terrena em que vivemos, temos da parte de
Deus um edifício, uma casa eterna nos céus, não construída por mãos humanas” (2
Coríntios 5.1).

In many parts of the Bible we find texts that speak of God's protection
to their faithful. Why do so many people go through pain? Why many people die
in God fearing catastrophes? They also say children and newborns who suffer and
die? Anyway, there is no limit to the questions.
So, let's try to clear up some facts: the presence of God in the life of the Christian is not to guarantee immunity to the problems and sufferings. Reading today tells of how Joseph suffered injustices in Egypt. However, he ever had prophetic dreams announcing that his brothers and even your father would depend on him, but before this happened, he went through everything that you read today – and in that prison he was forgotten for many years. Amid all that, however, the Bible declares four times that "the Lord was with Joseph (Genesis 3, 39.2, 21, 23).

In Daniel 3 include as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into
a furnace by staying faithful to God, but the Lord was with them in the flames
and released them without even scorched.
Another biblical account about heroes of faith that went through many
afflictions is Hebrews 11.35 -37: "Some were tortured and refused to be
released, in order to achieve a resurrection ..." and the text goes on to
describe the suffering of every kind to which they were subjected (check out).
God was not sleeping when the heroes of the faith suffered those afflictions.
He had a purpose for every situation, even while allowing the death of her
faithful to that served as an example for us. Therefore, trust in God in every
situation, because "we know that if it is destroyed the temporary earthly
dwelling in which we live, we have a building from God, an eternal House in
heaven, not built by human hands" (2 Corinthians 5.1).
