Há algum tempo, surgiram
no mercado “flores importadas da China”, feitas de tecido fino e quase
perfeitas. Têm até “respingos de água” e parecem verdadeiras. Meu filho comprou
um arranjo para dar de presente: as flores estavam vistosas, exuberantes e ao
mesmo tempo delicadas. “São lindas, filho! Artificiais, não?” Resposta do meu
filho: “Não, pai, são naturais; borrifadas pela florista.”
Bem, elas estavam “tão
naturais que pareciam artificiais”; ficção imitando a realidade. Outro fato: eu
e a mamãe fomos de carro à igreja. Quando chegamos percebi que um vidro estava
baixado e, buscando levantá-lo, procurei pelo comando. Passei a mão no painel e
não achei o botão. Então, sem refletir e meio “desligado”, perguntei: “O que
está acontecendo? Preciso fechar o vidro!” “Meu bem, basta girar a manivela!”,
respondeu mamãe. Aí me dei conta de que estava em um carro emprestado e não no
nosso velho Santana! Dizem que meu filho é distraído – acho que teve por quem
puxar…
O que quero lhe dizer com
estas “historietas” é que podemos nos enganar com situações que nos são
apresentadas e também com a aparência ou a artificialidade de algo. Isso também
pode acontecer em nossa vida espiritual. Certas práticas religiosas nos são
apresentadas com uma “embalagem” bonita e natural a ponto de nos confundir.
Corremos o risco de sermos enganados ao considerar o que é verdadeiro como
falso e o que é artificial como natural; podemos pensar que estamos em um lugar,
enquanto estamos em outro. Se não ficarmos atentos, “ligados”, podemos crer que
estamos louvando ao Senhor Deus enquanto exaltamos um líder, um templo, uma
liturgia ou um conjunto gospel… Enfim, posso estar adorando criaturas e não o
Criador. Posso pensar que estou no meu velho Santana, quando na verdade estou
em carro que nem é meu. É preciso estar sempre ligado, ligado ao Espírito do
Deus vivo!

What I want to say with these "stories" we can fool us with
situations that we are presented with the appearance or the artificiality of
something. This can also happen in our spiritual life. Certain religious
practices are presented with a "package" beautiful and natural about
to confuse us. We run the risk of being mistaken to consider what's true to
false and what is artificial as natural; We think we're in a place, while we
are in another. If we are not vigilant, "connected", we believe we
are praising the Lord God while we worship a leader, a temple, a liturgy or a
gospel set. Anyway, I may be loving creatures and not the creator. I can think
on my old Santana, when I'm actually in a car that's not even mine. You need to
be always on, connected to the spirit of the living God!
