Que chamado / I called!

Que chamado!
Leitura bíblica:
_________________

I called!
Bible reading:
_________________
That nation will know that a prophet has been in the middle of it (Ezekiel 2.5).
_________________
The vision came with an order: "stand up!" Soon after, the very spirit of God put Ezekiel standing. The mission was so heavy that the Prophet did not stand up. The call of God cannot be carried out without forces that come to him. Forget this warning is a disaster in the Christian life.
The text today describes the spiritual state of the people of God. Evil predominated. People-part in the exile in Babylon and Jerusalem part-unrepentant rebels lived against the will of God. This rebellion-or Sin – is hereditary, as in Jerusalem and Babylon – inside and outside of us. Lloyd Jones says in one of his books that time for another question to himself: "How can I live with God thinking what I'm thinking?" And he was a Flash in the dark spiritual sky of Europe of the 20th century.
The sin is resistance to divine will. The days of Ezekiel were difficult, but ours are best? Starting with our families and to society in General, what more does is counter to the divine will. Then it's up to ask if we would not have the same called in days so difficult or even worse. The challenge to remain steadfast with God persists. You need to take the same attitude that God required of Ezekiel, necessary for someone to be able to act as a Prophet in this world. After the judgment comes, the judges will know that there's been a prophet among them, and God shall exercise his justice unchallenged. There is no greater glory for a mortal than being chosen as a witness for God.
The call is difficult, but God wants to take chances because it is merciful and our indifference to its called hurts your heart. Our world must not be seen as a problem, but as a challenge. The bigger the challenge, the greater the responsibility, but also the greater the prize that awaits us. We can say as Paul: "I fought the good fight".

Eu Sou / I Am

Eu Sou
Leitura bíblica:
_________________

I Am
Bible reading:
_________________
I am the vine; you are the branches. If someone remains in me and I in him, this will give much fruit; for without me you can not do anything (John 15.5).
_________________
Have you ever wondered what is the name of God? The Bible gives it various attributes, such as Almighty, Holy, Lord, Love, but neither of these is the name of God. That was the question of Moses when God called him to free the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt: "and if they ask me: ' what's your name? ' You tell them? " Moses wanted to know the name of God and received the reply: "I am what I am". Complicated? Good, then let's summarize for "I am" God also said. I wonder how Moses must have reflected upon the name of God to get to Egypt. But we must understand that God wasn't worried about being known for a beautiful name. What matters is to be known for what he is and for what he does for his people.
What God meant to Moses and all of us with that name is, firstly, that we are not: God is. Can I take pride in my job and be a good professional, but it's just lost his job that I'm not. We could be a beautiful family and live appearances, but just come a crisis which we are not. Can I be proud of my fitness and be very talented, but is just a disease that I am no longer. We can be, but still I am God.
Secondly, what God wants to teach us is that even going through tough times, perhaps as the examples cited above, God will always be with us. The best translation for I am what I am is when God says to Moses: "I will be with you" (Exodus 3.12). At a time when we recognize that without God we are nothing, we can trust him and depend on him, because he will always be present in our lives. He gave proof that when he sent his only son to communicate to the world: "I will always be with you until the end of time" (Matthew 28.20).

Aaaah!

Aaaah!
Leitura bíblica:
_________________

My soul thirsts for God, the living God (Psalm 42.2).

The episode of the encounter of Jesus with the Samaritan woman that you just read a lot of different lessons, but here I would like to highlight that mattered to her at the time: water. Our first need to live is the air we breathe, but this is abundant and the breathing is automatic, so not normally concern us. Soon after, however, is the need of water – and this can miss and give work. Worth any effort. Without it, death is certain and swift.
To view the anxiety of that woman by water, Jesus sharpens her interest with an idea she first considers the wrong way and forces you to think a little more, to show you something even more critical: the spiritual headquarters. The continuation of the report shows the number of her lifelong attempts to kill this kind of seat, unable to. It is likely that she didn't realize what exactly you need, and tried to repeatedly meet on wrong source – as someone who tries to kill an angry headquarters with rum – and only worsens the situation because of dehydration caused by alcohol.
Augustine of Hippo, one of the "church fathers", hit the focus of the matter with his famous observation that restless till we find we live home in God – that's what this is about.
If you've done everything, spent forces, money, time and health to find satisfaction or happiness, and this thirst of the soul only increased, speak to Jesus, tell him to take control of your life and you'll get it on yourself the "water fountain that spurts to eternal life" that Jesus promised the Samaritan.
So, after the breath of the author of Psalm 42 in the verse highlighted, you can then cite another: Psalm 36.8-9, which leads to God saying: "thou givest them drink from your River of delights, for in you is the source of life." And can add: "Aaaah, what a relief!"

Against spiritual dehydration, take the water of life: Jesus.

Perdão / Forgiveness

Perdão
Leitura bíblica:
_________________
É o remédio do perdão.

Forgiveness
Bible reading:

How happy he whom the Lord does not assign blame and who there is no hypocrisy. (Psalms 32.2)
_________________
The prayer "our father" is not unknown. It contains a request for forgiveness, however, is subject to a condition: "as we forgive".
Repeat this prayer is not difficult. Hard is this condition.
There are thousands of sick people just don't forgive. God did not create the human being to bitterness or to hold grudges. This aggressive attitude and feisty is cause of unrest that affects emotions and triggers many physical ailments.
On one occasion I visited someone in the hospital. As soon as I entered the room, she fumed: "Pastor, I want to change my doctor".
The reason was that the doctor had asked her if she was angry or if you hated someone. She thought the doctor had nothing to do with his personal life and had no right to pry their intimacy.
The doctor there was diagnosed the cause of the disease was nervous and that the nervousness was related to your emotional life. And now I was there listening to your complaint. Read Psalm 32. Verse 3 was key: "While I kept hiding my sins, my body wasted away so much moaning". There was the cause of the disease. What medication can you prescribe for someone who lives bitter? Is the remedy of forgiveness. Who forgives, get rid of a heavy burden and gets not only a great relief not to have to deal with what others have done in the past, as has the promise of forgiveness of God for their own faults. Therefore, the father's prayer taken seriously can be a valuable medication, since the patient allow the word of God gets there at the bottom of your life and implant the seed of honesty, sincerity and truth that liberates.

Who forgives also earn forgiveness, in addition to relief and freedom.

Venha! / Come on!

Venha!
Leitura bíblica:
_________________
“Venha”, respondeu ele. (Mateus 14.29)
_________________
O Senhor, então, disse-lhe: “Venha!”, e Pedro foi, poucos passos, e a dúvida surgiu, a descrença atacou-o, e ele começou a afundar.

Come on!

"Come on," he replied. (Matthew 14.29)

The episode of the text today reveals some situations that should serve us for example. After the first multiplication of the loaves, the Lord Jesus compelled his disciples to cross to the other side of the Lake. He would then, as it still had to complete other steps: firing the crowds, even love those people. Then climbed a hill to pray to the father alone (in secret, as he himself had taught before). Met these two relevant commitments, with the people and the other with his father, then he could cross to the other shore, where his disciples were with the boat. It was time for the Lord to manifest his glory without the boat: crossed walking on water. It was a scare for its employees, still lacking in faith, despite everything that had already witnessed. Pedro, then, always speaker, wondered: "If you're yourself, send me meet you over the waters". Challenge God was what he did and some of us still do today. The Lord then said to him: "come on!", and Peter was, just a few steps, and the question arose, the disbelief attacked him, and he began to sink. Again asks for help to master, the answer promptly. How many times have challenged the God, the Lord Jesus: "if it's true, do this or do that." We cannot defy God! Sometimes, to honor of his glory, he answers, sometimes not. Our position must always be to hear and answer the call as Samuel, saying, "speak, your servant listens" (1 Samuel 3.10), nothing wavering, so that you can be our constant companion. He's always asking: "come to me all who are weary..."; "The little children come to me..."; "I stand at the door and knock... If anyone hears and open, I will..." We are, in this year, attentive to the calls of the Lord Jesus, accepting the invitation and always following him, nothing wavering.
