Desobediência / Disobedience

Leia em sua Bíblia: Josué 7.1-15

"Por que você não obedeceu ao Senhor? Por que se lançou sobre os despojos e fez o que o Senhor reprova?" (1 Samuel 15.19).

No texto lido, vemos que Acã contrariou uma ordem do Senhor ao reter consigo, coisas consagradas - assim como fez Saul muitos anos depois (leia o texto bíblico do versículo em destaque). Talvez tenha passado na mente de Acã que Josué, seu líder, e os outros israelitas, nunca descobririam sua desobediência. Mas ele esqueceu que aos olhos de Deus nada fica encoberto. O problema é que sua atitude trouxe males não a ele apenas, mas a todo o povo.

Deus mostrou a Josué, que havia desobediência no meio deles e que esta era a causa da derrota do exército israelita, ao tentar invadir Ai. E mais: enquanto não fossem obedientes, Deus não estaria com seu povo (v 12).

Aos nossos olhos, há pessoas que têm tudo para ter sucesso na vida sentimental, profissional, financeira ou ministerial, porém, percebemos que elas não "vão em frente". Supersticiosas, culpam o "olho gordo" de alguém, ou uma "praga rogada".

Aquele que não recebe uma promoção, culpa o chefe; o que tem seu casamento fracassado, culpa o cônjuge; o aluno que não avança nos estudos, culpa o professor e o cristão que não cresce espiritualmente, culpa seu líder.

Mas quem é o responsável por tais situações, afinal?

Pode ser a própria pessoa, se em sua vida houver desobediência. Esta precisa ser confessada a Deus, para que ele conceda seu perdão e possa agir em favor do homem.

Isso não significa vencer sempre, mas ter a certeza de fazer o que o Senhor deseja.

O que você tem guardado que não lhe pertence?

O amor de uma pessoa casada? O cargo de um colega de trabalho? A nota "colada" do colega na escola? Parte do dízimo dedicado ao Senhor? Palavras proferidas e escritas por outra pessoa? Méritos que seriam de outro?

Identifique e lance tais coisas fora de sua vida, para que Deus possa transformá-la e você o glorifique. (CPB)

Só conseguimos agradar ao Senhor quando somos obedientes a Ele.

Disobedience

Read in your Bible: Joshua 7.1-15

"Why don't you obeyed the Lord? Why if released over the spoils and did what the Lord rebukes? " (1 Samuel 15.19).

In the text, we see that Action contradicted an order of the Lord can, while retaining the consecrated things-as did Saul many years later (read the biblical text of the verse highlighted). May have passed in the mind of Action that Joshua, their leader, and the other Israelites, never would discover his disobedience. But he forgot that in the eyes of God nothing is glossed over. The problem is that his attitude brought him not only evil, but to all the people.

God showed to Joshua, who had disobedience among them and that this was the cause of the defeat of the Israeli army, while trying to invade Ai. And more: while they were not obedient, God would not be with his people (v. 12).

To our eyes, there are people who have what it takes to succeed in life professional, financial or sentimental, but ministerial, we realize that they do not "go ahead". Superstitious, blame the "evil eye", or a "plague", acquire any.

One who does not receive a promotion, blame the head; What has his failed marriage, blame the spouse; the student who does not advance in the studies, blame the teacher and the Christian who does not grow spiritually, blame their leader.

But who is responsible for such situations, after all?

May be the very person, if in your life there is disobedience. This needs to be confessed to God, so that he grant his forgiveness and can act on behalf of man.

That doesn't mean win always, but be sure to do what you want.

What you have saved that does not belong?

The love of a married person? The job of a co-worker? The note "glued" friend at school? Part of the tithe is dedicated to the Lord? Words spoken and written by someone else? Merits that would be another?

Identify and throw such things out of your life, so that God can turn it and you glorify. (CPB)

We can only please the Lord when we are obedient to him.
