POR QUÊ? / WHY?

Leia em sua Bíblia: Jó 3.1-11; 24-26

"Por que não morri ao nascer?" (Jó 3.11 a)

Quando sofremos, questionamos muitas coisas - como Jó. Ele tinha perdido quase tudo e preferia nem ter nascido para não ter de passar por sofrimento.

Quantos não pensam assim?

Argumentam que não pediram para nascer. Isso não muda a situação em si, mas esconde algo pior. Pensam que não são importantes para ninguém. Sua ausência não seria sentida. Ninguém se importa com o que estão passando, e, pensando assim, só aumentam seu sofrimento ao constatar que estão sozinhos e não há ninguém para ajudar.

Será mesmo verdade?

Jó estava desesperado, mas ele sabia que havia alguém observando tudo - o Senhor - tanto que recorre a Ele, pedindo explicações e tentando defender sua causa.

No final do livro, ele tem certeza da presença de Deus, pois o próprio Senhor fala com Jó e lhe mostra que, afinal, não compete ao ser humano saber os motivos divinos.

Dia desses, uma amiga estava numa situação difícil. Ela precisava lembrar-se de algo, mas sua memória não ajudava. Aquilo estava trazendo muito sofrimento. Se não lembrasse, ela teria de arcar com uma grande despesa. A quem recorrer? Ninguém conseguia ajudá-la. Até que ela orou e pediu que Deus a ajudasse a lembrar-se. No instante seguinte, a imagem tão esperada apareceu em sua mente. O que mais a impressionou não foi a resposta rápida à sua oração, mas o fato de aquilo demonstrar que Deus se importava com ela.

Apesar de nossas dúvidas, podemos ter certeza de que, mesmo que mais ninguém se importasse conosco, Deus se importa. Ele planejou nosso nascimento e se interessa por cada área de nossa vida, cada sentimento, cada circunstância. Ele não observa de longe: está pronto a nos ajudar.

Às vezes, o auxílio será imediato, como no caso acima. Outras vezes, não, mas isso não significa que Deus não esteja ouvindo. Ele se importa conosco mesmo quando parece demorar.

Lembremos sempre que, ainda que a dor não passe, podemos contar com sua companhia e seu amor. – (VWR)

WHY?

"Why not died at birth?" (Job 3.11)

When we suffer, we question a lot of things-like Job. He had lost almost everything and would rather not have been born to not have to go through suffering.

How many don't think so?

Argue they have not asked for to be born. It does not change the situation itself, but hides something worse. Think they are not important to anyone. His absence would be felt. No one cares what they are passing, and, thinking it only increases their suffering that they are alone and there is no one to help.

Is it really true?

Job was desperate, but he knew that there was someone watching everything-you-both using It, asking for explanations and trying to defend their cause.

At the end of the book, he is sure of the presence of God, as the Lord himself speaks with job and shows him that, after all, it is not for the human being to know the divine reasons.

These days, a friend was in a difficult situation. She needed to remember something, but his memory didn't help. It was bringing a lot of suffering. If you don't remember, she would have to bear a great expense. Who to turn to? No one could help her. Until she prayed and asked God to help him remember. In the next instant, the long-awaited image appeared in his mind. What impressed most was not the rapid response to their prayer, but the fact it demonstrate that God cared about it.

In spite of our doubts, we can make sure that, even if no one else cared with us, God cares. He planned our birth and if interested in every area of our lives, every feeling, every circumstance. He does not observe from afar: is ready to help us.

Sometimes, the aid will be immediately, as in the case above. Other times, no, but this does not mean that God is not listening. He cares about us even when it seems to take.

Always remember that, even if the pain does not pass, we can count on your company and your love. -(VWR)
