Imperdoável / Unforgivable

Leitura Bíblica: Marcos 3:20-30

Se é pelo Espírito de Deus que eu expulso demônios, então chegou a vocês o Reino de Deus (Mateus12: 28).

Você já ficou em dúvida quanto ao perdão de algo que você tenha feito em desobediência a Deus? No início de minha vida cristã, esta era uma das minhas maiores preocupações: “Será que eu blasfemei contra o Espírito Santo”? Logo minha consciência me acusava de algumas maldades e erros voluntários que eu tinha cometido na adolescência.

No texto que lemos hoje, Jesus Cristo fala a respeito de uma atitude para a qual não há perdão. Vemos que os mestres da lei e até a própria família de Jesus questionavam suas curas, exorcismos e outros sinais que Ele realizava pelo Espírito, ou seja, pelo “dedo de Deus” (Lucas 11:20).

Os familiares de nosso Senhor, percebendo que Ele até deixava de se alimentar direito para ajudar aqueles que a Ele recorria, achavam que Ele havia “pirado de vez”. Os mestres da lei, ao vê-lo expulsar demônios, espalhavam o boato de que Jesus fazia estas coisas em nome de Belzebu (provavelmente uma referência ao próprio Satanás).

Então, com autoridade de Jesus convoca seus acusadores (versículo 23) e lhes fala de sua missão, por meio de parábolas. Depois de deixar claro que Satanás não expulsa Satanás, Jesus os advertiu quanto à blasfêmia contra o Espírito Santo (versículo 29). Toda desobediência a Deus, declarou Jesus, é perdoável quando há arrependimento. Porém, quem rejeita a obra do Espírito Santo e deliberada e conscientemente atribui ao diabo a ação do próprio Deus, rebelando-se contra o Senhor, tem seu coração endurecido a tal ponto que não consegue mais se arrepender então, apesar de Deus ter lhe oferecido a oportunidade de ter vida eterna, esta pessoa não consegue mais obter perdão.

Unforgivable

Whether it is by the spirit of God that I cast out demons, then came to you the Kingdom of God (Mateus12: 28).

You already was in doubt as to the forgiveness of something that you have done in disobedience to God? Early in my Christian life, this was one of my greatest concerns: "did I blasphemy against the Holy Spirit"? Soon my conscience accused me of some evil deeds and volunteer errors I had made.

In the text we read today Jesus Christ speaks about an attitude for which there is no forgiveness. We see that the teachers of the law and even Jesus ' family questioned their healings, exorcisms and other signs that He was by the spirit, that is, by the "finger of God" (Luke 11:20).

The relatives of our Lord, realizing that he even left eating right to help those that He used, felt that he had "twisted once and for all". The teachers of the law, to see him drive out demons, spread the rumor that Jesus did these things in the name of Beelzebub (probably a reference to Satan himself).

Then, with authority of Jesus calls his accusers (verse 23) and tells them of his mission, through parables. After making it clear that Satan not expelled Satan, Jesus warned about the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (verse 29). All disobedience to God, said Jesus, is forgivable when there is repentance. However, those who reject the work of the Holy Spirit and deliberately and consciously assigns to the devil the action of God himself, rebelling against the Lord, has his heart hardened to such an extent that can't repent then, although God have offered the opportunity to have eternal life, this person can't get forgiveness.

As long as there is repentance, we can have confidence that God always forgives us.
