Leia em sua Bíblia: Rute 2.1-23

"Por acaso entrou justamente na parte da plantação que pertencia a Boaz" (Rute 2.3b).

Há alguns anos, estive no norte de Minas Gerais, na cidade de Paracatu, participando de um congresso de jovens. Ao retornar, precisei ir até o estado vizinho de Goiás, para tomar um ônibus de volta para o Paraná. Não conhecia qualquer pessoa da cidade, apenas tinha o número de telefone de um pastor que iria me acolher até o outro dia, quando seguiria viagem. Por algum motivo que até hoje desconheço, ele não veio me buscar. Já era noite e notei um carro parado há algum tempo ali na rodoviária. Demorei um bom tempo até tomar coragem e fui perguntar a eles, se conheciam o pastor. Disseram-me que sim, mas que ele estava fora da cidade. Aquelas pessoas faziam parte da igreja do tal pastor, e, espontaneamente, se propuseram a me acolher na sua casa até o próximo dia, quando segui viagem.

Na leitura de hoje, Rute, movida pela necessidade de ganhar sustento, encheu-se de coragem para ir até a plantação de alguma pessoa e pedir permissão para colher espigas, o que era o direito de todo pobre em Israel (confira em Levítico 19.9-10). Ela escolheu um campo para trabalhar, e só depois descobriu, que a mão do Senhor a guiara, permitindo que ceifasse o alimento de que necessitava justamente nas terras do parente de seu falecido sogro.

Apesar de Deus prover a cada pessoa, justa ou injusta (Mateus 5.45), é diante de situações adversas, que percebemos o quanto Deus cuida da humanidade criada à sua imagem e semelhança. Como disse Noemi: "[O Senhor] não deixa de ser leal e bondoso com os vivos e com os mortos".

Entretanto, a providência de Deus, não é como um jogo de tabuleiro, onde Deus manipula os eventos da nossa vida e seu bel prazer, antes, Deus nos permite fazer escolhas e, se o buscarmos (Rute 1.16), guiará nossos passos, permitindo-nos encontrar aquilo de que realmente necessitamos para nossa vida. – (AS)

A providência de Deus se manifesta diariamente em nossas vidas, em coisas grandes e pequenas.

Read in your Bible: Ruth 2.1-23

"By chance came just in the plantation that belonged to Boaz" (Ruth 2.3 b).

A few years ago, I was in the North of Minas Gerais, in the city of Paracatu, participating in a Youth Congress. Upon returning, I had to go to the neighboring state of Goiás, to take a bus back to the Paraná. Didn't know anyone in the city only had the phone number of a pastor who would accommodate up to me the other day, when travel would follow. For some reason that I don't know, it didn't come get me. It was already night and noticed a car stopped for some time there on the road. It took me quite a while to take courage and went to ask them if they knew the pastor. They told me that Yes, but he was out of town. Those people were part of the Church of pastor, and, spontaneously, if proposed to host me in their home until the next day when follow road.

In today's reading, Ruth, moved by the need to earn a living, was filled with the courage to go up to the planting of some person and ask permission to harvest cobs, which was the right of all poor in Israel (see in Leviticus 10-19.9). She chose a field to work, and only then discovered that the Lord's guiding hand, allowing to achieve the food it needed precisely on the grounds of relative of her late father-in-law.

Although God provide for every person, just or unjust (Matthew 5.45), is faced with adverse situations, that we realize how much God takes care of humanity created in his image and likeness. Naomi said: "[the Lord] is nonetheless loyal and kind with the living and the dead".

However, the Providence of God, it's not like a board game, where God handles the events of our life and your pleasure, before, God allows us to make choices and, if the seek (Ruth 1.16), will guide our steps, allowing us to find what we really need for our life. – (AS)

The Providence of God is manifested every day in our lives, in big things and small.
