Calebe e Josué foram dois homens lembrados pela sua fé, coragem e perseverança
nos tempos de Moisés.
Eles fizeram parte dos doze espiões que Moisés mandara à terra de Canaã depois da travessia do Mar Vermelho. Os outros dez deram um relatório pessimista sobre a conquista de Canaã, dizendo que havia cidades fortificadas, que os habitantes da terra eram muito poderosos e que existiam gigantes ali.
Calebe e Josué viram as mesmas coisas, mas deram um relatório animador. O problema foi que o povo ouviu os dez espiões desanimados e, por causa da sua falta de fé, teve de peregrinar pelo deserto por quarenta anos, até que a geração adulta morresse no deserto, com exceção de Calebe e Josué. Após as primeiras conquistas em Canaã, Calebe reivindicou de Josué a posse da terra que ele havia espiado fazia quarenta e cinco anos. Veja a fé e a disposição de Calebe: depois de todo esse tempo, e já com 85 anos de idade, seu ânimo era o mesmo e ele se lembrava perfeitamente da promessa que recebera de Moisés.
De igual modo, Josué também herdou a terra, segundo o mandado do Senhor: "Quando terminaram de dividir a terra em territórios delimitados, os israelitas deram a Josué, filho de Num, uma herança no meio deles. Como o Senhor tinha ordenado, deram-lhe a cidade que ele havia pedido, Timnate-sera, nos montes de Efraim, onde ele reconstruiu a cidade e se estabeleceu" (Josué 19.49-50).
Pela sua perseverança e fé, aqueles dois homens receberam a sua recompensa, a posse da terra de Canaã, enquanto os demais companheiros espiões morreram no deserto.
Não importa quais obstáculos ou dificuldades você possa enfrentar por ser cristão. Persevere em servir a Deus, e com isso receberá também a sua recompensa que, segundo Jesus prometeu, é um tesouro de valor eterno, totalmente à prova de perdas (Mateus 7.20).

Caleb and Joshua were two men reminded by their faith, courage and
perseverance in the time of Moses.
They were part of the twelve spies that Moses had to the land of Canaan after crossing the Red Sea. The other ten gave a pessimistic report on the conquest of Canaan, saying that there were fortified towns, which the inhabitants of the Earth were very powerful and that there were giants there.
Caleb and Joshua saw the same things, but gave an encouraging report. The problem was that the people heard the ten spies discouraged and, because of their lack of faith, had to journey through the desert for forty years, until the adult generation died in the desert, except Caleb and Joshua. After the first achievements in Canaan, Caleb Joshua claimed ownership of the land that he had spied was forty-five years. See faith and disposition of Caleb: after all this time, and already at the age of 85, his mood was the same and he remembered perfectly the promise that received from Moses.
Similarly, Joshua also inherited the land, according to the commandment of the Lord: "when they finished dividing the land into delimited territories, the Israelis gave Joshua the son of nun, a legacy in their midst. As the Lord had commanded him, they gave him the city that he had asked, timnathserah, in the hills of Ephraim, where he rebuilt the city and settled "(Joshua 19.49-50).
By his perseverance and faith, those two men received their reward, possession of the land of Canaan, while the remaining companions spies died in the desert.
No matter what obstacles or difficulties you might face for being a Christian. Persevere in serving God, and this will also receive their reward, according to Jesus promised, is a treasure of eternal value, fully waterproof losses (Matthew 7.20).

Калеб и Джошуа видел то же, но дал обнадеживающий доклад. Проблема заключается в том, что люди слышали десять шпионов не рекомендуется и, из-за их отсутствия веры, пришлось путешествие по пустыне сорок лет, пока взрослого поколения умер в пустыне, за исключением Калеб и Джошуа. После первых достижений в Ханаан Калеб Джошуа утверждали, что права собственности на землю, что он занимался шпионажем было 45 лет. Вера и распоряжения Калеб: после все это время и уже в возрасте 85 лет, его настроение было то же самое, и он вспомнил прекрасно обещание, что получил от Моисея.
Аналогичным образом, Джошуа также унаследовал земли, по повелению Господа: «когда они закончили, разделив земли на территории с разделителями, израильтяне дал Джошуа сына монахиня, наследие в их среде.
