Fé e coragem / Faith and courage

Leia em sua Bíblia: Lucas 1.26-38

"Sou serva do Senhor; que aconteça comigo conforme a tua palavra" (Lucas 1.38).

Para cumprir sua parte nos planos de Deus, é necessário ter fé e coragem.

Fé para acreditar que o que Deus falou se cumprirá. Coragem para enfrentar as pessoas que não têm fé.

Maria e José viveram isto, quando receberam o aviso sobre o nascimento de Jesus.

Vejamos:

1. Deus prometera no Antigo Testamento que enviaria Jesus (Isaias 9.6). Mas a esta altura, já haviam passado mais de 700 anos. Era preciso muita fé para ainda acreditar em algo tão antigo.

2. Quando Deus anunciou seus planos a Maria e José (Lucas 1.26-38), eles precisaram de coragem para aceitar o que aconteceria, pois a gravidez de Maria fora do casamento levantaria muitos questionamentos e fofocas. Com certeza não foi fácil encarar a família e as outras pessoas, explicando que anjos haviam aparecido a eles e que Maria ficara grávida do Espírito Santo. Provavelmente riram deles, outros talvez os taxaram de loucos, debocharam, talvez se indignaram. Mas também houve aqueles, como Isabel, que acreditaram neles e os encorajaram (Lucas 1.39-45).

3. Deus usou a situação política da época (a ordem do imperador para recensear todo o povo Lucas 2.1-7), para conduzir Maria e José ao local escolhido para o nascimento de Jesus. Mais uma vez, o casal precisou de coragem, pois a gravidez de Maria, já estava no final e a viagem de Nazaré a Belém era longa (aproximadamente 170 km) e difícil e a necessidade de fé e coragem não terminou quando Jesus nasceu. Logo depois, precisaram fugir para o Egito, para que o bebê não fosse morto por Herodes.

Estas dificuldades, normalmente despertam em nós muitas dúvidas.

"Se a vontade de Deus é esta, por que preciso enfrentar tantas dificuldades?" 

Mas Deus cumpre seus planos para a humanidade, para seu Filho, para Maria e José, para nós.

Ele nos revela seus planos e sua vontade.

A nossa parte é crer e ter coragem para cumprir o que Deus quer. – (ACS/VS)

Fé e coragem transformam a mais simples das pessoas em um herói de Deus.

Faith and courage

Read in your Bible: Luke 1.26-38

"I am a servant of the Lord; that happens to me according to your word "(Luke 1.38).

To fulfill its part in the plans of God, you must have faith and courage.

Faith to believe that what God spoke will be fulfilled. Courage to face people who have no faith.

Mary and Joseph lived this, when they received the warning about the birth of Jesus.

Let's See:

1 . God promised in the old testament that would send Jesus (Isaiah 9.6). But at this point, had already spent more than 700 years. It takes great faith to still believe in something so old.

2 . When God announced his plans at Mary and Joseph (Luke 1.26-38), they needed the courage to accept what would happen, because Maria's pregnancy out of wedlock would raise many questions and gossip. It was certainly not easy to face the family and other people, explaining that angels had appeared to them and that Mary was pregnant through the Holy Spirit. Probably laughed at them, others maybe taxed crazy, sorry, maybe if outraged. But there were also those, like Isabel, who believed in them and encouraged (Lucas 1.39-45).

3 . God used the political situation of the time (the Emperor's order to identify all the people Luke 2.1-7), to lead Mary and Joseph to the place chosen for the birth of Jesus. Once again, the couple needed courage, because Maria's pregnancy, was already at the end and the journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem was long (about 170 miles) and hard, and the necessity of faith and courage did not finish when Jesus was born. Soon after, they flee to Egypt, so that the baby hadn't been killed by Herod.

These difficulties, usually arouse in us many questions.

"If the will of God is this, why do I have to face so many difficulties?"

But God fulfills his plans for mankind, for his son to Mary and Joseph, for us.

He reveals his plans and his will.

Our part is to believe and have the courage to fulfill what God wants. -(ACS/VS)

Faith and courage turn the simplest of people into a hero of God.
