Leia em sua Bíblia: Tiago 4.11-12

"Quem é você para julgar o seu próximo? (Tiago 4.12b)

Certo dia, duas pessoas conversavam sobre outras que compravam fiado, alimentos na cantina da igreja e não pagavam por eles. Havia uma que devia desde a última venda realizada e que, além de não pagar, saía de fininho sem ao menos cumprimentar ninguém, toda vez que o dirigente avisava sobre a necessidade de quitação. Outra, desde o dia que fizera sua compra, há quase dois meses, não aparecia mais na igreja, e mesmo sem terem seus nomes mencionados, entraram para a lista dos "caloteiros".

No dia seguinte a essa conversa, procurei uma das pessoas que foram chamadas de "caloteiras" - a que saía de fininho. Eu sabia que até então, ela sempre pagara em dia os lanches adquiridos na cantina. Talvez estivesse desempregada ou com alguma outra dificuldade. Soube que, entre outras coisas, ela necessitava de óculos, pois nem a Bíblia  tinha como ler. Quanto à outra, que há quase dois meses não aparecia nas programações da igreja - fugindo da dívida, segundo alguns imaginavam - soube nesse mesmo período, que estava com a saúde abalada e sem condições de andar.

Temos forte tendência a "achar" isso ou aquilo sobre as pessoas e situações, e pior, é que baseados nos "acho", criticamos, julgamos e condenamos. Esquecemos que Jesus disse: "Não julguem, para que vocês não sejam julgados e a medida que usarem, também será usada para medir vocês" (Mateus 7.1-2).

Em vez de criticar e fofocar, devemos estender nossas mãos para ajudar nosso próximo a se erguer e a caminhar, oferecendo a ele, algo que possa reverter a situação pela qual está passando.

Precisamos exercitar mais o amor, a tolerância e a misericórdia, e menos a nossa língua - que como diz Tiago, está cheia de veneno mortífero (Tiago 3.8). - CPB

Não devemos julgar as pessoas - ainda mais se não conhecemos todos os fatos!

"Who are you to judge your neighbor? (James b 4.12)

The day after this conversation, I tried one of the people who were called " con man " - out of thin. I knew until then, she always paid in day snacks purchased in the cafeteria. Maybe you were unemployed or with any other difficulty. Learned that, among other things, she needed glasses, because neither the Bible was read. As for the other, which for nearly two months did not appear in the schedules of the church-run debt, according to some imagined I heard during the same period, which was shaken health and unable to walk.

We have a strong tendency to "find" this or that about people and situations, and worse, is that based on "guess", criticize, judge and condemn. We forget that Jesus said: "do not judge, so that you won't be judged, and the measure you use, it will also be used to measure you" (Matthew 7.1-2).

Instead of criticizing and gossiping, we must extend our hands to help our neighbors to stand up and walk, offering him, something that can reverse the situation you're going through.

We need to exercise more love, tolerance and mercy, and less to our language-how to say James is full of deadly poison (James 3.8). -CPB

We should not judge people-even more so if we don't know all the facts!
