Leitura Bíblica: Gênesis 8:1-22
Não lhes compete saber os
tempos ou as datas que o Pai estabeleceu pela sua própria autoridade (Atos
1:7).
É praxe:
quem mora nas grandes cidades costuma dar uma olhada na previsão do tempo. Seja
para saber que clima esperar numa viagem de fim de semana, para decidir que
roupa vestir para o trabalho ou até mesmo por simples curiosidade, as pessoas
querem saber o que as aguarda naquele dia.
Essa
tentativa de saber o futuro pode gerar certa ansiedade. Por um lado, sabendo o
que vem pela frente, talvez a gente perceba que não está pronto para enfrentar
o desafio. De outro lado, se não conseguimos obter a informação, ficamos
angustiados por não podermos nos preparar.
Noé foi o
primeiro ser humano de que se tem registro a ter acesso a uma previsão do
tempo. Deus avisou: vai chover. E mais: “Vou destruir toda a Terra com essa
chuva, portanto construa uma arca para você e sua família”. E veio a chuva, e
tudo o que havia sobre a terra morreu, menos Noé, sua família e os animais que
tinham entrado na arca. Mas a história não acaba aí. Imagine que durante muitos
meses Noé e sua família ficaram trancados dentro desse estábulo flutuante.
Nesses
meses todos, começou a crescer a ansiedade, a angústia pelas más condições de
higiene, a sensação de “E daí? Não morremos na chuva, mas logo nossa comida
acaba”, ou algo parecido. E, nesse momento, só resta uma coisa: ter fé. Crer
que o mesmo Deus que livrou de uma situação de morte não vai desampara-lo mesmo
que a situação pareça continuar difícil. Às vezes, o livramento de Deus
não se dá em condições agradáveis – somos levados a experimentar isolamento,
confinamento, desconforto. Mas, acredite: um dia o sol voltará a brilhar, as
águas baixarão, a porta vai se abrir para um novo mundo. Quando isso acontecer,
faça como Noé: louve a Deus e dedique o seu melhor a Ele. – (IAO)
O resgate de Deus é o único que
nunca chega tarde demais.
Weather forecast

Not their
job to know the times or dates the father has set by his own authority (acts 1:
7).
Is usual: those who live in
large cities usually take a look at the weather forecast. Is to know that
weather wait on a weekend trip, to decide what clothes to wear to work or even
by simple curiosity, people want to know what awaits that day.
This attempt to know the
future can generate a certain anxiety. On the one hand, knowing what lies
ahead, maybe we realize that is not ready to face the challenge. On the other
hand, if we can't get the information, we were distressed by we cannot prepare
ourselves.
Noah was the first human being
that if the record has a weather forecast. God warned: it's going to rain. And
more: "I will destroy the whole earth with this rain, so build an Ark for
you and your family". And the rain came, and everything they had on Earth
died, Noah, his family and the animals that had entered into the Ark. But the
story doesn't end there. Imagine that for many months Noah and his family were
locked inside this floating stable.
In these months all, began
growing anxiety, the anxiety by the poor conditions of hygiene, the feeling of
"so what? Do not die in the rain, but soon our food ends up ", or
something like that. And, at that time, only one thing remains: have faith.
Believe that the same God who got rid of a situation of death won't forsake it
even if the situation seems still difficult. Sometimes, the deliverance of God
is not in pleasant conditions – we are led to experience isolation,
containment, discomfort. But believe me: one day the Sun will shine, the waters
will download, the door will open up to a new world. When this happens, do as Noah:
praise God and dedicate his best to it. -(IAO)
The redemption of God is the only one that never
comes too late.
