Leitura Bíblica: Rute 3:1-18
Todos os meus concidadãos sabem
que você é mulher virtuosa (Rute 3:11b)
Você
atentou bem para a leitura indicada para hoje? Assustou-se com as recomendações
de Noemi para sua nora? Arrumar-se, perfumar-se e ir à noite até a tenda de um
homem, descobrir seus pés e deitar ali perto (versículo 3-4) não são, nos dias
de hoje recomendação que se dê a uma moça!
No Oriente
Médio era tradição que a mulher se banhasse, vestisse a melhor roupa e se
ungisse com um óleo aromático para o seu casamento. Noemi estava preparando o
terreno para um novo casamento de sua nora Rute, após sua viuvez. De acordo com
a lei do Senhor (leia mais sobre a “lei do levirato” em Deuteronômio 25:5-10),
uma mulher viúva deveria ser amparada pelo parente mais próximo do seu marido.
Em nossa história, este homem era Boaz (Rute 2:1). Mas então porque a
“artimanha” de retirar o cobertor dos pés do homem durante a noite? Não seria um
ato de atrevimento? A palavra capa (versículo 9) é a mesma em hebraico que a
palavra asa, registrada em Rute 2:12 se referindo ao cuidado de Deus. O homem
que deveria tomar a viúva do parente em casamento era o resgatador ou redentor.
Sua ação era semelhante à ação de Deus, que com suas asas oferece guarida a
mulher desamparada.
Porém Boaz
não deseja tomar Rute por esposa apenas por causa do cumprimento cego da lei.
Seu desejo estava fundamentado igualmente no caráter dela. Sua virtude era bem
conhecida entre o povo (versículo 7), pois as atitudes dela foram honestas e de
acordo com a lei. Não buscou satisfazer seus desejos com um novo marido jovem,
nem mesmo escolheu a Boaz, pois foi por “casualidade” que ela conheceu este
parente do seu marido (Rute 2:3).
A mulher
virtuosa, assim como o homem de virtude, age conforme a sua confiança no amor
redentor de Deus, e por este motivo experimentam a graça e a misericórdia de
Deus em suas vidas assim como Rute ao ser sustentada e encontrar guarida junto
a Boaz. – (AS)

debaixo de suas asas que encontramos guarida!

for today? Scared with Noemi recommendations for your daughter-in-law? Tidy up,
perfume and go at night until the tent of a man, find your feet and go to
nearby (verse 3-4) are not, in today's recommendation to give a girl!
In the Middle East was the
tradition that women bathed, wore the best clothes and anointing with an
aromatic oil for your wedding. Naomi was preparing the ground for a new
marriage of his daughter-in-law Ruth, after her widowhood. In accordance with
the law of the Lord (read more about the "law of levirate marriage"
in Deuteronomy 25: 5-10), a widowed woman should be bolstered by the closest
relative of her husband. In our history, this man was Boaz (Ruth 2: 1). But
then as "gimmick" to remove the blanket man's feet during the night?
It would not be an act of boldness? The word cover (verse 9) is the same as in
Hebrew the word wing, registered in Ruth 2:12 referring to the care of God. The
man who should take the widow of relative in marriage was the rescuer or the
Redeemer. Its action was similar to the action of God, that with its wings
offers refuge to woman helpless.
However Boaz does not wish to
take Ruth for wife just because of blind adherence to the law. His desire was
also reasoned in her character. His virtue was well known among the people
(verse 7), because her attitudes were honest and in accordance with the law.
Not sought to satisfy their desires with a new husband young, not even chose
the Boaz, as it was by "chance" that she met this relative of her
husband (Ruth 2: 3).
The virtuous woman, as well as
the man of virtue, acts as their confidence in the redeeming love of God and
experience the grace and mercy of God in their lives as well as Ruth to be
sustained and find refuge with Boaz. -(AS)
Today Christ is our Redeemer, and is under their
wings found refuge!
