Embora a
Bíblia fale de uma fé pequena e operante, não é de uma fezinha que ela está
falando. Existe muita fé barata por aí, muita fé falsa. Fé não é culto a
personalidades, emocionalismo, superstição, compromisso com religiosidade. A fé
não é fé em si mesma, esta não tem nenhum valor. O valor da fé está somente em
seu objeto. A fé visa à Palavra de Deus e Cristo Jesus.
O que é fé?
John Stott disse: “A fé é o olho que olha para Cristo, a mão que nele segura, a
boca que bebe a água da vida. A cruz é o símbolo da fé cristã, da igreja
cristã, da revelação de Deus em Jesus Cristo”. Fé é o conhecimento de Deus e
sua vontade. A fé é a principal obra do Espírito Santo em nós. A fé é presente
da graça de Deus. Mediante a fé somos salvos da morte eterna. Efésios 2.8 nos
diz: “Vocês são salvos pela graça, por meio da fé; e isto não vem de vocês; é
dom de Deus.” Esta fé dá razão para viver e alegria em todos os momentos e
movimentos.
A verdadeira
fé tem como sua base a Palavra de Deus. Vem por ouvir a Palavra de Cristo, pela
ação do Espírito Santo. Ouvir a Palavra traz vida à nossa alma. Calvino disse:
“Há uma relação permanente da fé com a Palavra; ela não pode separar-se desta,
da mesma forma como os raios do próprio sol não podem separar-se dele, do qual
se originam. Tire-se, pois, a Palavra e já nenhuma fé restará”.
A fé tem como
centro a história da reconciliação com Deus em Cristo. Toda a história da vida
de Jesus é importante para o fortalecimento da nossa fé.
Quando tudo
que ouvimos e aprendemos na Palavra de Deus é recebido por nós como verdade que
deve ser praticada, nossa fé é fortalecida. Somos fortalecidos em nossa fé na
medida que nossa fé for operosa. A fé é mantida por meio da prática. Fiéis na
Bíblia são os que seguem a Cristo. O fiel é aquele que tem fé e que pratica a
fidelidade.

Although
the Bible speak of a small and active faith, it is not an flutter that she's
talking about. There is a lot of cheap faith out there, a lot of false faith.
Faith is not cult of personalities, emotionalism, superstition, religious
commitment. Faith is not faith in yourself, this has no value. The value of
faith is only in your object. Faith aims at word of God and Christ Jesus.
What
is faith? John Stott said: "faith is the eye that look to Christ, the hand
that holds the mouth to drink the water of life. The cross is the symbol of the
Christian faith, the Christian Church of the revelation of God in Jesus Christ
". Faith is the knowledge of God and his will. Faith is the main work of
the Holy Spirit in us. Faith is a gift of God's grace. Through faith we are
saved from eternal death. Ephesians 2.8 tells us: "you are saved by grace
through faith; and this not of yourselves; It is the gift of God. " This
faith gives reason to live and joy in every moment and movement.
The
true faith has as its base the word of God. Comes by hearing the word of
Christ, by the action of the Holy Spirit. Hear the word brings life to our
soul. Calvin said: "there is a permanent relationship of faith with the
word; She can't separate this in the same way as the rays of the sun itself
cannot separate him from which originate. Get the Word and have no faith left.
The
faith has as the story of reconciliation with God in Christ. The whole story of
Jesus ' life is important for the strengthening of our faith.
When
everything we heard and learned the word of God is received by us as truth that
must be practiced, our faith is strengthened. We are strengthened in our faith
as our faith is active. Faith is maintained through practice. Believers in the
Bible are those who follow Christ. The faithful is he who has faith and
practise faithfulness.
