Lá estava o corpo caído na estrada. Estaria morto? Era mais uma vítima
dos assaltantes que rondavam a região. Já fazia tempo que estava ali. Dois
religiosos, um sacerdote e um auxiliar, já haviam passado por lá, mas ficaram
de longe para não se contaminar, não se envolverem com o problema, talvez
também com medo de que os assaltantes ainda estivessem por perto. Mas então um
estrangeiro aproximou-se daquele homem caído. Abaixou-se, ouviu-lhe o coração e
percebeu que estava vivo. Socorreu-o com medicação de urgência e levou-o a um
lugar onde pudesse receber tratamento mais adequado. Lá ele pagou por todas as
despesas, deixando ainda um crédito aberto para o que aquele homem desconhecido
viesse a precisar. Foi embora sem procurar saber quem era o homem ferido ou se
um dia viria a ser reembolsado. Esta é em síntese a parábola do bom samaritano,
contada por Jesus e registrada em Lucas 10.25-37. Podemos perceber três tipos
de norma de vida nesta lição:
– A primeira norma é a dos assaltantes: “O que é meu é meu; o que é seu
será meu se eu puder tomar de você”.
– A segunda é a dos dois religiosos que passaram longe do corpo
estendido no chão: “O que é meu é meu; o que é seu é seu se você conseguir
defendê-lo”.
– Já a norma de vida do samaritano, aquele estrangeiro, traz o mesmo
modo de pensar de Jesus. Esta precisa ser a dos cristãos: “O que é seu é seu e
o que é meu será seu se você vier a precisar dele”.
Atualmente continuam ocorrendo assaltos nas estradas da vida – e tendem
a crescer. O que não cresce em proporção igual é o número de bons samaritanos.
O versículo em destaque é uma citação do Antigo Testamento, da lei que Moisés
deu aos israelitas, mas elas foram reafirmadas com ênfase pelo Senhor Jesus
Cristo porque ela resume o objetivo de quaisquer leis que regem a nossa vida:
estar sempre disposto a beneficiar tudo e todos.

There was a body lying on the road. Would be dead?
It was more a victim of the assailants who rode the region. Time it was there.
Two religious, a priest and a helper, had already been there, but they were by
far not to get infected, do not get involved with the problem, perhaps afraid
that the robbers were still around. But then a stranger approached that man
down. Bent down, listened to his heart and realized he was alive. Help with
emergency medication and took him to a place where he could receive proper
treatment. There he paid for all expenses, leaving even a credit open for that
unknown man would need. Left without seeking to know who the man was injured or
whether a day would be reimbursed. This is in short the parable of the good
Samaritan, told by Jesus and recorded in Luke 10.25-37. We can perceive three
types of standard of life in this lesson:
-The first is the standard of the robbers:
"what's mine is mine; What's yours is mine if I can take care of you
".
-The second is of two religious who passed away
from the body lying on the floor: "what's mine is mine; What's yours is
yours if you can defend him. "
– The standard of life of the Samaritan, that
foreigner, brings the same way of thinking of Jesus. This needs to be the
Christians: "what's yours is yours and what's mine is yours if you come to
need it".
Currently still taking place rounds on the roads of
life – and tend to grow. What doesn't grow in equal ratio is the number of good
Samaritans. The verse highlighted is a quote from the old testament, the law
that Moses gave the Israelites, but they were reaffirmed with emphasis by the
Lord Jesus Christ because it summarizes the objective of any laws governing our
life: always be willing to benefit everyone and everything.
