Leitura Bíblica: I Samuel 24:1-15
O Senhor seja o juiz e nos
julgue (I Samuel 24:15a).
Hoje vemos
uma imensa sede de vingança por parte dos que se sentem ultrajados de alguma
maneira. Recorre-se cada vez mais à “justiça com as próprias mãos”. Mas será
que estaremos agindo com justiça ao resolver os problemas à nossa maneira?
Recentemente
tive problemas referentes a um terreno que possuo em um loteamento. A prefeitura
autorizou a abertura de uma rua transversal que, pelo traçado escolhido, acabou
invadindo parte dos terrenos, causando uma perda de 4m de terra. Como os demais
lotes já estavam murados, a diferença sobrou para os dois que não estavam: o
meu e o do meu vizinho. Assim que constatei o problema, propus ao vizinho
dividirmos o “prejuízo” de modo proporcional à medida de nossos terrenos. Ele
perderia 1,30m e eu, 2,70m. Como ele concordou, providenciei uma cerca conforme
o combinado. Mas, menos de uma semana depois, o vizinho mudou de ideia: tirou a
cerca do lugar, de forma que o seu terreno ficasse com a largura original e o
meu lote arcasse com toda a perda.
Meu irmão,
que não é cristão, ao saber do fato disse-me: “Temos de fazer alguma coisa,
pois ele nos afrontou!” Meu marido, que também vive sem Deus, aconselhou: “Se
fosse comigo, faria um muro demarcando a largura certa do meu terreno, e
deixava-o no prejuízo sozinho!”. Respondi a eles que se não fosse possível um
novo acordo, eu preferia seguir as instruções legais, e não agir de minha
maneira.

lido, Davi teve a chance de matar Saul, mas não o fez! Ele até tinha um bom
motivo: legítima defesa, devido à perseguição dura que sofria por parte de
Saul. No versículo 12, parte a, porém, ele diz algo que sempre menciono em
minhas orações quando alguma coisa não está bem resolvida entre mim e outra
pessoa: “Que o Senhor julgue entre mim e ti”. Nossas causas devem ser entregues
nas mãos de Deus, pois Ele julga a todos com retidão. – (CPB)
Só Deus julga com imparcialidade e
perfeição.

the judge and the judge (I Samuel 24:15 a).
Today we see an immense thirst
for revenge on the part of those who feel outraged. Increasingly used to
"justice with their own hands". But it will be that we will be acting
with justice to solve the problems in our way?
I recently had problems
relating to a land that I have on an allotment. The city authorized the opening
of a cross street, by the chosen track, eventually invading part of land,
causing a loss of 4 m. Like other lots were walled, the difference fell to the
two that weren't: the mine and my neighbor. So I found the problem, I proposed
to the nearby divide the "prejudice" proportional to the measure of
our land. He would lose 1, 30 m and I, 2, 70 m. As he agreed, I convened a
fence as the combined. But, less than a week later, the neighbor changed his
mind: took about the place, so that his land to stay with the original width
and my lot, but eventually relented with any loss.
My brother, who is not a
Christian, to know the fact told me: "we have to do something, because he
faced us!" My husband, who also lives without God, advised: "If it
were me, would make a fence demarcating the right width of my land, and left it
in the prejudice alone!". I said to them that if it were not possible a
new agreement, I preferred to follow the legal statements, and not to act my
way.
The text read, David had a
chance to kill Saul, but didn't! He even had a good reason: self defense, due
to hard persecution suffered by Saul. In verse 12, part a, but it says
something that always mention in my prayers when something is not well resolved
between me and someone else: "may the Lord judge between me and
thee". Our causes should be delivered into the hands of God, because He
judges everyone with righteousness. -(CPB)
Only God judges impartially and perfection.
