Leia em sua Bíblia: Juízes 21.13-25

"Por que vocês não julgam por si mesmos o que é justo? (Lucas 12.57).

O versículo em destaque toca uma questão muito importante. Jesus acabara de dizer aos seus ouvintes, que eles deveriam interpretar o tempo presente.

Nós hoje agimos e pensamos de forma diferente do que se fazia há 50 anos.

Qual a causa?

Filosofias novas, novidades científicas, acontecimentos mundiais mudaram nosso modo de pensar.

Como ficam os princípios bíblicos em meio a tudo isso?

O livro de Juízes, fecha com a frase "cada um fazia o que lhe parecia certo". Parece exatamente o que ocorre hoje. Há uma opinião corrente por aí, de que a mente humana, não passa do resultado de reações bioquímicas no cérebro, portanto, alma espírito, personalidade não existiriam. Nesse caso, não seríamos responsáveis por nossas escolhas. Não haveria certo e errado. Vale tudo.

Aqueles israelitas desorientados de que lemos, tinham feito um juramento. Uma guerra civil havia dizimado a tribo de Benjamin. As demais tribos juraram não dar suas filhas aos que restaram dos benjamitas. A tribo desapareceria. Então, inventam um estratagema. Dariam suas filhas de um modo que não quebrasse o juramento.

Alguém já disse, que o homem é o único animal que mente para si mesmo e acredita. Os israelitas anestesiaram a sua consciência. Enganaram a si mesmos.

Assim somo nós.

Achamos que o comparecimento a algum culto religioso nos libera para pecar. Já cumpri o meu dever - o resto não importa. Não interpretamos o nosso tempo, não averiguamos a origem dos valores. O fim disso é a ideia de que não existe Deus, nem prestação de contas. Bem e mal se confundem.

De onde vêm tais ideias, tais "valores", tais formas de ver a vida?

Ninguém pergunta. 

Ainda hoje é atual a pergunta do Senhor Jesus ao homem que fez a escolha de dedicar sua vida ao ajuntamento de bens (Lucas 12.20): "Esta noite a sua vida lhe será exigida. Então, quem ficará com o que você preparou?" (MJT)

Enganar a mim mesmo não me livra do julgamento divino.

Self-deceit

Read in your Bible: Judges 21.13-25

"Why don't you judge for yourselves what is right? (Luke 12.57).

The verse featured plays a very important issue. Jesus had just tell their listeners that they should interpret the present tense.

We today we act and think differently than if done in 50 years.

What is the cause?

New philosophies, scientific news, world events have changed our way of thinking.

How are the biblical principles in the midst of all this?

The book of judges, closes with the phrase "each did what seemed right." Seems exactly what happens today. There is a current opinion out there, that the human mind is the result of biochemical reactions in the brain, therefore, soul spirit, personality would not exist. In this case, we would not be responsible for our choices. There would be no difference between right and wrong. Can all.

Those Israelites disoriented that we can read, had taken an oath. A civil war had decimated the tribe of Benjamin. The other tribes have sworn to not give your daughters to the left of benjamitas. The tribe would disappear. So they invent a stratagem. Give your daughters in a way that doesn't break the oath.

Someone once said, that man is the only animal who lies to himself and believes. The Israelites they your conscience. Deceived themselves.

That's us.

We think the turnout to some religious cult in releases to sin. I've done my duty-the rest doesn't matter. Don't interpret our time, not to discover the source of the values. The end of this is the idea that there is no God, no accountability. Good and evil become blurred.

Where they come from such ideas, such "values", such ways of seeing life.

No one asks.

Still current today the question of the Lord Jesus to the man who made the choice to dedicate his life to the roundup of goods (Luke 12.20): "This night your life will be required. So, who gets what you prepared? " (MJT)
