Você ora? / Do you pray to?

Leia em sua Bíblia: Romanos 8.14-16

Porque vocês são filhos, Deus enviou o Espírito de seu Filho ao coração de vocês, e ele clama “Aba Pai”! (Gálatas 4.6).

Quando falo em orar, penso em orar de fato, em espírito e verdade, como dizia Jesus.

Existem orações ou rezas simplesmente decoradas. Não são essas a que me refiro. Quando a oração não passa disso, ele não chega a Deus e, portanto, é inútil.

Mas como farei para falar com Deus de modo que ele me atenda?

Umas das primeiras orações poderia ser esta: "Pai, mostra-me o teu caminho, quero crer em ti, quero fazer a tua vontade, mas não sei como".

A oração é uma conversa com Deus. Se ele é Pai, e nós os seus filhos, devemos falar com ele como filhos falam aos seus pais. Com confiança e intimidade, com todo o respeito, sabendo que o pai tem coisas boas para dar.

Mas não é só pedir.

Que tal um filho abraçar o pai e lhe dizer: "Pai, eu te amo muito!" Será que o pai vai gostar? Certamente. Se você for pai, sabe disso. E você tem um pai, sabe como falar com ele.

Na área espiritual não é diferente, mas há um senão: muitos pensam que são filhos de Deus, mas não são. Filho de Deus é somente aquele que adquire essa condição por meio da fé em Jesus. Ele é o intermediário entre nós e Deus, e sem ele, nada conseguiremos (veja João 1.12 e Gálatas 3.26).

Sendo assim, torne-se filho de Deus e depois chegue a ele para dizer-lhe  (não apenas recitando): "Pai nosso que estás no céu, santificado seja o teu nome, venha o teu reino, seja feita a tua vontade" (Mateus 6.9).

Seria um bom princípio de oração.

Todavia, se você ainda não sabe se é Filho de Deus, ou lhe falta a intimidade, será o caso de orar assim: "Senhor, perdoa os meus pecados e ajuda-me a conhecer-te!".

A esses Jesus diz: "Peçam, e lhes será dado, busquem, e encontrarão, batam, e a porta lhes será aberta. Pois todo o que pede recebe; o que busca encontra e àquele que bate a porta será aberta." (Mateus 7.7-8). - WK

A oração é a nossa conversa mais importante.

Do you pray to?

Read in your Bible: Romans 8.14-16

Because you are sons, God sent the spirit of his son into the heart of you, and he claims "Tab Daddy"! (Galatians 4.6).

When I pray, I pray, in fact, in spirit and truth, as Jesus.

There are prayers or prayers simply decorated. Aren't these to which I refer. When the prayer is just that, he's not God, and is therefore useless.

But how shall I talk to God so that he meets?

Some of the earliest prayers could be this: "Dad, show me your way, I want to believe in you, I want to do thy will, but I don't know how".

Prayer is a conversation with God. If he is the father, and we his children, we must talk to him like kids talk to their parents. With trust and intimacy, with all due respect, knowing that the father has good things to give.

But don't just ask.

How about a son embracing his father and tell him: "Dad, I love you so much!" Does the father will like it? Surely. If you are a father, you know that. And you have a father, knows how to talk to him.

In the spiritual area is no different, but there's a catch: many think that are children of God, but they are not. Son of God is only the one who acquires this condition through faith in Jesus. It is the intermediary between us and God, and without him, nothing can make (see John 1.12 and Galatians 3.26).

Thus, become the son of God and then get him to tell you (not just reciting): "our father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done" (Matthew 6.9).

It would be a good principle of prayer.

However, if you still do not know if he is the son of God, or you lack the intimacy, is the case of pray: "Lord, forgive my sins and help me meet you!".

These Jesus says: "Ask, and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be open. For everyone who asks receives; What is search and to slam the door will open." (Matthew 7.7-8). -WK

Prayer is our most important conversation.
