[Paulo e Barnabé fortaleceram
os discípulos e os encorajaram] a permanecer na fé, dizendo: É necessário que
passemos por muitas tribulações para entrarmos no Reino de Deus (Atos 14.22).

Muitos pensam que a fé só será estimulada nos
momentos de vitória. Claramente é mais fácil acreditar que seremos
bem-sucedidos quando tudo está transcorrendo bem. Nos períodos de tranquilidade
nos sentimos mais seguros e mais confiantes: parece que jamais vacilaremos.
Achar que Deus está conosco quando estamos bem é quase óbvio, natural.
Porém, nos momentos de lutas é que poderemos
realmente mensurar o tamanho de nossa fé. Quando nos encontramos subjugados por
situações para as quais não vemos solução e não nos resta alternativa senão
esperar no Senhor é que saberemos se somos fortes ou não e se nossa
perseverança é real.
Somente avaliaremos se estamos ou não firmados na
Palavra de Deus e se nossa confiança está no Senhor se formos desafiados a
viver dificuldades significativas ou até impossibilidades. Com a ajuda divina,
é por meio delas que podemos crescer.
Se o socorro de Deus demorar a chegar, nossa
paciência será testada – saberemos se temos pouca ou o suficiente. Também
mediremos o quanto cremos na eternidade, ou seja, de que perspectiva avaliamos
as situações. Quando passarmos a dar mais importância ao reino vindouro do que
à nossa vida terrena é que realmente viveremos apesar das circunstâncias e elas
não nos abalarão. Saberemos que, aconteça o que acontecer, a nossa recompensa
está no céu. Enquanto vivermos aqui, antes que um problema acabe outro já está
surgindo, tornando nossa luta constante, mas com seu fim já determinado.
Portanto, não desanime! O melhor momento para
exercitar a paz é em meio aos conflitos; a solidariedade, em meio às
necessidades; a fé, em meio às impossibilidades e a fidelidade, em meio às
tentações.

Nossa esperança é firmada no Deus que prometeu aos seus filhos o
céu, onde não haverá problemas ou sofrimentos.

Don't be
discouraged

Many
think that faith will only be stimulated
in moments of victory. Clearly it is easier to believe that we will succeed
when all is well passing. In periods of calm we feel safer and more confident:
it seems that ever waver. Find that God is with us when we're well is almost
obvious, natural.
However, in times of struggles can we really measure the size of our
faith. When we find ourselves overwhelmed by situations to which we see no
solution and we have no choice but to wait in the Lord is that we will know if
we are strong or not, and if our perseverance is real.
Only we will evaluate whether or not we signed in the word of God and if
our trust is in the Lord if we are challenged to live significant difficulties
or even impossibilities. With God's help, it is through them that we can grow.
If the help of God to defend, our patience will be tested-we will know
if we have little enough. Also we will measure how much we believe in eternity,
IE, that perspective we evaluate situations. When we give more importance to
the coming Kingdom than to our earthly life is really live despite the
circumstances and they don't we shall cumber. We know that, whatever happens,
our reward is in heaven. As long as we live here, before a problem is over
another is already emerging, making our constant struggle, but with your order
already determined.
So, don't be discouraged! The best time to exercise is in the midst of
conflicts; solidarity, amidst the needs; faith, amid the impossibilities and
fidelity, in the midst of the temptations.

Our hope is grounded in God
who promised to their children the sky where there will be no problems or
sufferings.
