No momento em que
escrevo este texto acompanhamos escândalos que envolvem uma grande empresa do
nosso país. As incertezas quanto às investigações, ao total de envolvidos e à
sua responsabilização pelos atos criminosos fazem com que o mercado financeiro
olhe com incerteza para essa empresa. Os valores das suas ações caíram consideravelmente
e muitas pessoas perderam muito dinheiro investido. Este é apenas um exemplo de
como uma empresa considerada sólida pode ir da certeza de lucros para uma total
incerteza quando se olha para o futuro.
Mas eu quero chamar atenção para algo que é muito valioso e permanecerá sempre com o mesmo valor: Jesus Cristo, o Filho de Deus, e seu Reino são de valor inestimável.

Nada neste mundo pode se
comparar à riqueza que é viver com ele. Quando os filisteus prenderam Davi em
Gate (o episódio de que fala o Salmo 56), ele afirmou que confiava em Deus e
não temia o que poderia lhe acontecer. Para alguns, ser preso pelo inimigo
poderia ser o fim.
Contudo, temos aqui o
testemunho maravilhoso de alguém que não confiava no seu próprio poder, mas no
de Deus.
Felizmente, aquele que crê em Jesus Cristo e entregou sua vida a ele pode contar com alguém que é sempre o mesmo. Se olharmos para o passado, veremos como ele esteve conosco em todos os momentos da nossa vida. Mesmo nos momentos mais difíceis poderemos perceber como fomos ajudados. Ao olhar para o presente podemos estar certos da presença do nosso Deus, e com ele temos confiança também diante do futuro. Para nós o futuro ainda é desconhecido, mas o nosso Deus o conhece plenamente.
Felizmente, aquele que crê em Jesus Cristo e entregou sua vida a ele pode contar com alguém que é sempre o mesmo. Se olharmos para o passado, veremos como ele esteve conosco em todos os momentos da nossa vida. Mesmo nos momentos mais difíceis poderemos perceber como fomos ajudados. Ao olhar para o presente podemos estar certos da presença do nosso Deus, e com ele temos confiança também diante do futuro. Para nós o futuro ainda é desconhecido, mas o nosso Deus o conhece plenamente.
Diante disso não há
motivo para temer, pois, tal como hoje, amanhã também teremos a presença de
alguém que nos ama e permanece fiel ao nosso lado a cada instante. E assim, se
você ainda vive somente nas incertezas desse mundo, convido-o a também confiar
nesse Deus que nos deixa totalmente seguros.

At
the time I write this text we are following scandals involving a large
enterprise of our country. The uncertainty about the investigations, the total
involved and their accountability for criminal acts cause the financial market
look with uncertainty for the company. The values of their shares have fallen
considerably and many people lost a lot of money invested. This is just one
example of how a company considered solid can go from sure profits for a total
uncertainty when looking to the future.
But I want to draw attention to something that is very valuable and will always remain with the same value: Jesus Christ, God's son, and his Kingdom are invaluable.

Nothing
in the world can compare to the richness that is living with him. When the Philistines
arrested David in Gate (the episode that this is Psalm 56), he stated that God
and not trust feared what might happen to you. For some, being imprisoned by
the enemy could be the end.
However,
we have here the wonderful testimony of someone who doesn't trust his own
power, but in God.
Fortunately, the one who believes in Jesus Christ and gave their life to it can count on someone that is always the same. If we look at the past, we will see how he has been with us every day of our lives. Even in the most difficult moments we can see how we helped. Looking at this we can be sure of the presence of our God, and to him we have confidence also in front of the next. For us the future is still unknown, but our God know him fully.

that there is no reason to fear, because, just like today, tomorrow we will
also have the presence of someone who loves us and stays true to our side every
moment. And so, if you still live only in the uncertainties of this world, I
invite you to also trust this God who leaves us completely safe.
