inclusive tudo o que está escondido, seja bom, seja mau (Eclesiastes 12.14)

Erros sempre
trazem consequências. Elas podem ser mínimas ou chegar ao máximo, como a morte
da pessoa, ou ainda trazer grandes tristezas, sofrimentos físicos ou emocionais
e insegurança para as pessoas da família ou as envolvidas naquele erro. Algumas
consequências são imediatas, outras de médio prazo e outras ainda vêm depois de
anos. Nada se pode esconder para sempre. Se isto é realidade perante as
pessoas, imagine então diante de Deus. Muitas pessoas mudaram completamente de
vida, foram totalmente transformadas, mas as consequências do erro ou dos erros
cometidos continuam assombrando sua vida.
Diante desta
realidade têm-se alguns desafios: um deles é cuidar da sua maneira de viver e
evitar ao máximo erros que estraguem sua vida e tragam consequências
permanentes. Infelizmente, dentro da nossa condição humana será inevitável que
ocorram. Outro desafio é, uma vez cometido o erro, tentar acertá-lo da melhor
maneira e com a rapidez que seja possível para que as consequências sejam
mínimas. Precisa-se ter humildade e hombridade, e estar disposto a conviver com
os resultados daquilo, tendo paz no coração e não vivendo aterrorizado pelo
passado.
Além disso, é importante que haja o acerto com Deus, pois ele sabe tudo
o que fizemos e fazemos, e não adianta tentar esconder alguma coisa dele. Ele
também conhece o coração de cada pessoa e sabe da sinceridade de cada uma
delas. Quando uma pessoa se arrepende, ele também a perdoa – “Se confessarmos
os nossos pecados, ele é fiel e justo para perdoar os nossos pecados e nos
purificar de toda a injustiça” (1 João 1.9). Assuma a oração de Davi:
“Sonda-me, ó Deus, e conhece o meu coração; prova-me, e conhece as minhas
inquietações. Vê se em minha conduta algo te ofende, e dirige-me pelo caminho
eterno” (Salmo 139.23-24).

Errors
always bring consequences. They can be minimal or reach the maximum, as the
death of the person, or even bring great sorrows, physical or emotional suffering
and insecurity for the family or the people involved in that error. Some
consequences are immediate, medium-term and other other still come after years.
Nothing can hide forever. If this is reality before the people, imagine then in
front of God. Many people have changed completely from life, have been fully
processed, but the consequences of the error or errors are still haunting their
lives.
In
the face of this reality have some challenges: one is to take care of their way
of living and avoid the most mistakes that ruin your life and bring permanent
consequences. Unfortunately, within our human condition is inevitable to occur.
Another challenge is, once committed the error, try to hit it in the best way
and quickly as possible so that the consequences are minimal. You need to have
humility and manhood, and be willing to live with the results of that, having
peace in the heart and no living terrified by the past.
In addition, it is important that the deal with
God, because he knows everything we did and do, and there's no point trying to
hide something from him. He also knows the heart of every person and know the
sincerity of each one of them. When a person repents, he also forgives-"if
we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1.9). Take the prayer of
David: "Review me, o God, and know my heart; try me, and know my
anxieties. See if something offends you in my conduct, and directs me by the
eternal path "(Psalm 139.23-24).
