Feliz é aquele que lê as palavras desta
profecia e felizes aqueles que ouvem e guardam o que nela está escrito, pois
o tempo está próximo (Apocalipse 1.3).

Ao ler o
Apocalipse deparamos com textos que mexem muito com nossa imaginação, e diante
de tanta exuberância descritiva muitas vezes não compreendemos o que realmente
Deus quer nos dizer. Afinal, tudo está no futuro e a nós compete apenas crer
que essas coisas sucederão, pois é a Palavra de Deus, e ele não se enquadra em nossa limitada e equivocada compreensão. Porém,
em meio a todas essas dificuldades, durante esta leitura um aspecto me chama
muito a atenção: a inimaginável soberania de Deus. Um Deus criador, justo,
puro, santo, onisciente, onipresente, poderoso, soberano, forte, mas que tem
tanto amor que nos dá a oportunidade de nos tornarmos seus filhos por meio de
Jesus Cristo, o seu filho único. Um Deus que abre mão de seu único Filho por
amor a nós! Quando realmente conseguimos ter a compreensão e abrimos os olhos
para perceber quem é Deus e todos os seus feitos, não há outra opção a não ser
nos prostrar de joelhos e adorar a esse Senhor tão magnífico. Compreenderemos
então a nossa insignificância e ao mesmo tempo descobrimos que apesar dela
somos importantes para Deus. Ele nos ama e nos quer ao seu lado. É maravilhoso
perceber que, mesmo não sendo quase nada, apesar de tentarmos conduzir-nos com
retidão e obedecer aos seus ensinamentos, somos falhos e caímos, muitas vezes
diariamente. Não conseguimos por nós mesmos agir ou reagir de forma correta, a
não ser quando permitimos ser guiados por Jesus, orientados pelo Espírito
Santo.
Aproveite este
momento, medite em sua vida, em todos os acontecimentos bons e maus, olhe à sua
volta, observe a natureza e sua família, compare tudo isso com você mesmo e
reconheça o seu lugar neste Universo. Somos frágeis, pequenos, quase nada, mas é surpreendente ver o quanto Deus
já fez!

To
read the Apocalypse come across texts that move a lot with our imagination, and
in front of this many descriptive exuberance often don't understand what
actually God wants to tell us. After all, everything is in the future and we
compete just believe that these things will succeed because it is the word of
God, and he does not fit in our limited and
mistaken understanding. However, in the midst of all these difficulties, during
this reading looks calls me a lot of attention: the unimaginable God's
sovereignty. A Creator God, just, pure, Holy, omniscient, omnipresent,
powerful, sovereign, strong, but it has so much love that gives us the
opportunity to become his sons through Jesus Christ, his only son. A God who
gives up his only son out of love for us! When really we can get an
understanding and open your eyes to realize who is God and all his
achievements, there is no other option except in the bow down on your knees and
worship this Lord so magnificent. Understand our insignificance and at the same
time we find that in spite of it are important to God. He loves us and wants us
to be at his side. It's wonderful to realize that, even if it's not much of
anything, although we try to lead us with righteousness and obey his teachings,
are flawed and fallen, often daily. We can't by ourselves to act or react
properly, except when allowed to be guided by Jesus, guided by the Holy Spirit.
Enjoy
this moment, meditate on his life, in all the good and bad events, look around,
notice the nature and his family, compare all this to yourself and recognize
your place in this universe. We are fragile, little, almost
nothing, but it's amazing to see how God has ever made.
