Aba

um pouco mais adiante, [Jesus] prostrou–se e orava…”Aba, Pai, tudo te é
possível. Afasta de mim este cálice; contudo, não seja o que eu quero, mas sim
o que tu queres” (Marcos 14.35-36).

Meu amigo cabeleireiro
frequenta uma pequena igreja onde ainda se fala a língua aramaica. Quando
conversamos sobre a fé cristã, ele sempre se refere a Deus usando a palavra
Aba, que em aramaico significa Pai. É um termo afetivo, usado quando uma
criança fala com seu “papai”. Jesus usou Aba várias vezes quando orava. Ele
falou com Deus como uma criança conversa com seu pai. No Getsêmane ele disse
“Aba Pai…afasta de mim este cálice” (Marcos 14.36), suplicando por livrá-lo do
sofrimento; na cruz ele usou a mesma palavra quando orou pedindo que o Pai
perdoasse aqueles que o crucificavam porque não sabiam o que estavam fazendo (Lucas
23.34). Os quatro evangelhos afirmam que Jesus chamou Deus de Pai. Um erudito
cristão diz que em nenhum lugar no Velho Testamento lemos que os judeus tenham
usado a palavra Aba para se referir a Deus. Era uma nova maneira que Jesus
introduzia de uma pessoa relacionar-se intimamente com Deus. Uma forma única e nova
de se expressar na oração.
Jesus estava ensinando o
cristão a empregar habitualmente “Aba, Pai” em suas orações. No momento íntimo
e diário com Deus, em oração, ele tem a liberdade de usar esse termo. Desde o
momento em que começa a seguir o Senhor Jesus Cristo, ele passa a ser filho de
Deus, pois o Espírito Santo veio fazer residência em seu coração. É o Espírito
dentro de você que o leva a clamar “Aba, Pai” porque você não é mais escravo da
vida do mundo, mas filho e, portanto, também herdeiro. É Deus quem faz isso em
sua vida, não porque você mereça essa posição privilegiada diante dele. Você
não tem capacidade para realizar algo que possa comprar a sua reconciliação com
Deus. Jesus fez isso por você na cruz, e agora o poder da graça de Deus toca a
sua vida.

[Jesus] fell – and prayed ... "Abba, Father, everything is possible. This
Cup away from me; However, it's not what I want, but what you want "(Mark
14.35-36).

My friend hairdresser attends a small church where Aramaic is still
speaks the language. When we talk about the Christian faith, he always refers
to God using the word Abba, which in Aramaic means Father. Affectionate term,
used when a child speaks with your "Daddy". Jesus used Tab multiple
times when he prayed. He spoke to God like a child conversation with your
father. In Gethsemane he said "Nawaz ... this cup away from me" (Mark
14.36), begging for free from suffering; on the cross he used the same word
when prayed asking the Father to forgive those who crucified because they
didn't know what they were doing (Luke 23.34). The four Gospels claim that
Jesus called God father. A Christian Scholar says that nowhere in the old
testament we read that the Jews have used the word Abba to refer to God. It was
a new way that Jesus introduced a person to relate intimately with God. A new
and unique way to express themselves in prayer.
Jesus was teaching the Christian to employ usually "Abba,
Father" in their prayers. In the intimate moment and with God in prayer,
he has the freedom to use that term. From the moment it begins to follow the
Lord Jesus Christ, he becomes a son of God, as the Holy Spirit came to
residence in your heart. Is the spirit inside of you that leads you to claim
"Abba, Father" because you're no longer a slave to the life of the
world, but son and thus heir. It is God who makes it in your life, not because
you deserve this privileged position in front of him. You do not have the
capacity to accomplish something that you can buy your reconciliation with God.
Jesus did it for you on the cross, and now the power of the grace of God
touches your life.
