Não se desviem

Leitura bíblica: Deuteronômio 5.32-33

Por isso, tenham o cuidado de fazer tudo como o Senhor, o seu Deus, lhes ordenou; não se desviem, nem para a direita, nem para a esquerda (Deuteronômio 5.32).

Dependência química é uma doença para a qual não há cura, mas felizmente existe tratamento. Trabalho numa comunidade terapêutica na qual ao longo de um ano recebemos mais de uma centena de pessoas que procuram por ajuda. Os motivos que as movem são os mais variados. Em muitos casos, a dependência já lhes tirou praticamente tudo. Perderam emprego, casamento, filhos, dignidade e também caráter. A partir do tratamento é possível experimentar uma nova vida. Consegue-se um novo emprego. Casamentos são refeitos, filhos voltam a visitar os pais. Há novamente dignidade e, com a ajuda de Deus, é possível experimentar uma mudança positiva no caráter. Contudo, em se tratando de dependência química, o tratamento precisa continuar por toda vida. Quem se desvia do seu foco de sobriedade coloca-se em sérios riscos, e não raras vezes perde novamente tudo o que conquistou.

Na vida com Deus também existe a necessidade de permanecer focado naquilo que aprendemos do Senhor. O povo de Israel recebeu do próprio Deus mandamentos que deveriam ser obedecidos. A obediência ao caminho do Senhor não é natural ao ser humano. O profeta Isaías afirma: “Todos nós, tal qual ovelhas, nos desviamos, cada um de nós se voltou para o seu próprio caminho” (Isaías 53.6a). Como consequência desse desvio, experimentamos ao fim a própria morte. Mas não há necessidade de morrer, pois existe vida para todo aquele que a desejar. No caminho de Deus existe vida plena e abundante. “Eu sou o caminho, a verdade e a vida”, disse Jesus (João 14.6). “Eu vim para que tenham vida, e a tenham plenamente” (João 10.10b).

Quero motivá-lo a conhecer as ordenanças de Deus, e então não se afastar delas nem por um milímetro. Assim você terá vida plena e eterna junto de Deus e com Jesus Cristo.

So, be careful to do everything like you, your God, ordered them; do not deviate from, neither to the right nor to the left (Deuteronomy 5.32).

Chemical dependency is a disease for which there is no cure, but fortunately there is treatment. I work in a therapeutic community in which over the course of a year we received more than a hundred people looking for help. The reasons for the move are the most varied. In many cases, I took virtually everything. Lost job, marriage, children, dignity and also character. From the treatment is possible to experience a new life. You can get a new job. Weddings are redone, children come back to visit his parents. There are again dignity and, with God's help, it is possible to experience a positive change in character. However, when it comes to chemical dependency, the treatment must continue for life. Who deviates from the focus of your sobriety is put at serious risk, and often loses again all won.

In life with God there is also the need to remain focused on what we have learned from Mr. The people of Israel received God's own commandments that should be obeyed. Obedience to the way of the Lord is not natural to human beings. The Prophet Isaiah says: "all of us like sheep, we divert ourselves, each of us turned to your own way" (Isaiah 53.6). As a result of this diversion, we experience the end death itself. But there is no need to die because life exists to those who the want. In the way of God there is full and abundant life. "I am the way, the truth and the life," said Jesus (John 14.6). "I came that they may have life, and have it fully" (John 10.10 (b)).

I want to motivate you to meet the Ordinances of God, and so does not deviate from them for even a millimeter. So you will have full and eternal life with God and Jesus Christ.
