Leitura Bíblica: Sofonias 3:14-20

Batam palmas, vocês, todos os povos; aclamem a Deus com cantos de alegria (Salmos 47:1).

Se você contasse a história de sua vida, ela seria classificada como dramática ou feliz? A história do povo de Israel, por exemplo, pode ser narrada de forma bem dramática. Com efeito, ela poderia ter tido um final triste se não fosse a misericórdia de Deus em afastar os castigos, os inimigos e o mal do meio daquele povo. O Senhor esteve presente no meio de Israel e esse fato é que fez diferença. Deus tem poder para reverter uma história triste e dramática e convertê-la num canto de júbilo. Foi o que aconteceu em vários episódios na história do povo de Israel. Quantas vezes o Antigo Testamento relata que eles abandonaram o Senhor e serviram a outros deuses! Quantas vezes encontraram-se em apuros diante da invasão de outros povos por causa da sua desobediência. Mas o Senhor estava no meio deles, e pela sua misericórdia e bondade os salvou. Deus transformou várias vezes a história dramática do povo de Israel em um cântico de júbilo.

Essa história nos remete ao que Deus realizou para toda a humanidade. O Senhor transformou a sua, a minha, a nossa dramática história num cântico de alegria. Pois o Senhor Jesus Cristo veio ao mundo para nos reconciliar com Deus, para trazer-nos da morte para vida eterna, da tristeza para o júbilo. Por meio de Jesus Cristo, Deus se fez presente em nosso meio para mudar a nossa história. Não há tristeza que o Senhor não possa converter em alegria, não há pecado que Deus não possa perdoar, não há relacionamento que o Senhor não saiba restaurar, não há aflição que o Senhor não possa consolar. O Senhor está no meio de nós: resta saber se você quer estar em sua presença. Somente em Jesus Cristo encontramos motivos para em qualquer circunstância jubilar. Se você classifica a sua história como dramática, saiba que Deus quer transformá-la numa história de alegria. – DENILSON SANCHES.

There is sadness that you cannot convert in joy, there is no sin that God cannot forgive, there is no relationship that you don't know restore, there is distress that the Lord cannot console. The Lord is among us: it remains to be seen whether you want to be in his presence. Only in Jesus Christ we find reasons for Jubilee under any circumstance. Действительно она могла бы печальный конец, если бы не Божья милость отвратить наказания, врагов и зла от середины людей. Господь присутствовал в разгар Израиль, и этот факт, что сделал разницу. Бог имеет власть обратить вспять печальная история и драматические и конвертировать его в углу ликование. Это произошло в нескольких эпизодов в истории народа Израиля.
