Céu

entrará algo impuro, nem ninguém que pratique o que é vergonhoso ou
embaraçoso, mas unicamente aqueles cujos nomes estão escritos no livro da
vida do Cordeiro (Apocalipse 21.27).

Numa manhã de primavera saí para a minha caminhada costumeira. Depois de
algum tempo andando no bairro, cheguei a um parque onde há um banco para o
descanso. Geralmente não paro para descansar, pois já não estou muito longe da
minha casa. Mas naquela manhã uma idosa estava ali sentada, tendo ao seu lado
um andador. Quando me viu passar, cumprimentou-me com um sorriso largo.
Detive-me ali ao seu lado por alguns instantes e ela começou a falar: “Que dia
lindo! Veja as flores coloridas, o lago e este parque com tanta beleza!
Sentei-me aqui para tomar um pouco desse sol maravilhoso”. Disse-lhe então que
outro lugar mais bonito do que este era somente o céu. Ela bruscamente
respondeu: “Céu! Não, não existe. Eu quero viver é aqui mesmo e aproveitar
todos os momentos desta vida. Não! Não creio no céu”. Confesso que fiquei
completamente surpreso, e nada mais pude falar com aquela senhora. Continuei a
minha caminhada pensando em tantas pessoas que têm a mesma opinião daquela
pessoa sem Deus, sem esperança ou futuro.
O
texto de hoje é parte da descrição bíblica de como será a vida no céu (leia
também o capítulo 21 de Apocalipse). O cristão, reconciliado com Deus por meio
de Jesus Cristo, pode ter a certeza absoluta da existência do céu, pois é nela
que tem o seu futuro assegurado, a esperança concreta reservada nos céus para
aqueles que têm fé em Jesus Cristo (Colossenses 1.5). João escreveu que quando
o Senhor se manifestar “seremos semelhantes a ele, pois o veremos como ele é”
(1 João 3.2).A
vida aqui na terra passa, mas para os que servem a Deus permanece para sempre a
certeza da existência eterna com Jesus no céu. (JG)
Viver com Deus agora já antecipa as maravilhas eternas do céu.

On a spring morning I went for my usual walk.
After some time walking in the neighborhood, I came to a park where there's a
Bank for the rest. Usually don't stop to rest, because I'm not far from my
house. But that morning, an elderly woman was sitting there having beside a
Walker. When I saw pass, greeted me with a wide grin. Dwelt there beside you
for a few moments and she began to speak: "what a beautiful day! See
colorful flowers, the Lake and the park with so much beauty! I sat here to take
some of that wonderful Sun ". I told him then that other place more
beautiful than this was just heaven. She brusquely replied: "Heaven! No, does
not exist. I want to live is right here and enjoy every moment of this life.
No! I do not believe in heaven ". I confess that I was completely
surprised, and nothing else could talk with that lady. I continued my walk
thinking about so many people who have the same opinion of that person without
God, without hope or future.
The text today is part of the biblical
description of the life in heaven (see also chapter 21 of Apocalypse). The
Christian, reconciled with God through Jesus Christ, can be absolutely certain
of the existence of heaven, as it is about her that has its future assured,
concrete hope reserved in heaven for those who have faith in Jesus Christ
(Colossians 1.5). John wrote that when the Lord manifests itself "we will
be like him, because we see him as he is" (1 John 3.2). Life here on Earth, but for
those who serve God remains forever the certainty of eternal life with Jesus in
heaven. (JG)
Living with God now anticipates the Ageless wonders of the sky.
