Leitura bíblica: Isaías 6.1-8

Então ouvi a voz do Senhor, conclamando: “Quem enviarei? Quem irá por nós?” E eu respondi: “Eis-me aqui. Envia-me!” (Isaías 6.8).

Um dos significados do nome Isaías é “Iavé deu salvação”. Quando olhamos a história do profeta, é possível perceber que essa era a mensagem que ele levava ao povo. Ele atuou em um contexto repleto de apostasia e conflitos entre pessoas de situações sociais diferentes. Além disso, seu povo ainda enfrentava o julgamento de Deus por intermédio da Assíria.

Em meio a essa situação tão difícil, Isaías teve uma visão do Senhor assentado em seu trono. Isso mudou sua vida. Após ver o Senhor reinando e ter um vislumbre de sua santidade, o profeta percebeu com grande nitidez o quanto seu entorno era pervertido. A pureza de Deus destacou sua própria impureza, e isso o afligiu. No entanto, Deus não o deixou assim, mas limpou-o de seus erros. E, uma vez puro, Isaías dispôs-se a ir levar a mensagem do Senhor.

Não é possível ter uma experiência real com Deus e não ser abalado. O profeta teve convicção de que precisava fazer algo, e por isso rapidamente colocou-se à disposição de Deus, antes mesmo de saber o que teria de ser feito. O cristão não deve esperar que o Senhor o convoque de forma sobrenatural, mas precisa estar disposto a, diante das dificuldades, ajudar onde puder. São muitas as necessidades da sociedade. Quanto você está disposto a se envolver? Há carências que podem ser supridas com trabalhos voluntários, e isso inclui o reino de Deus. O Senhor continua buscando pessoas dispostas a se doar e dedicar à pregação de sua Palavra. É bom envolver-se em atividades que contribuam humanitariamente na nossa sociedade, mas é possível ir além e abraçar também causas que envolvem as necessidades espirituais do ser humano. Sabemos que a salvação vem de Iavé, mas ele usa pessoas para transmitir sua mensagem. Você está disposto a colaborar?

Then I heard the voice of the Lord, urging: "Who do I send? Who will go for us?" And I answered: "here I am. Send me! " (Isaiah 6.8).

One of the meanings of the name Isaiah is "Yahweh gave salvation". When we look at the story of the Prophet, it is possible to realize that this was the message he took to the people. He performed in a context full of apostasy and conflicts between people of different social situations. In addition, your people still faced the judgement of God by means of Assyria.

In the midst of this situation so difficult, Isaiah had a vision of the Lord seated in your throne. That changed your life. After seeing the Lord reigning and have a glimpse of your Holiness the Prophet realized with great clarity how your surroundings was a pervert. The purity of God highlighted your own impurity, and it afflicted him. However, God didn't make him so, but wiped from their mistakes. And, once pure, Isaiah was willing to take the message of the Lord.

It is not possible to have a real experience with God and not be shaken. The Prophet had belief that I had to do something, and so I quickly put himself at the disposal of God, even before knowing what had to be done. The Christian should not expect you to summon supernatural form, but you have to be willing to, on the difficulties, help where you can. There are many needs of society. How much are you willing to get involved? There are needs that can be met with volunteer work, and this includes the Kingdom of God. You're still looking for people willing to donate and to the preaching of your Word. It's good to engage in activities that contribute necessary in our society, but it is possible to go further and embrace also causes involving the spiritual needs of the human being. We know that salvation comes from Yahweh, but it uses people to convey your message. Are you willing to collaborate?
