O escritor Antônio Cícero
escreveu um poema chamado “Guardar”, que diz o seguinte: “Guardar uma coisa não
é escondê-la ou trancá-la. Em cofre não se guarda nada. Em cofre perde-se a
coisa de vista. Guardar uma coisa é olhá-la, fitá-la, mirá-la por admirá-la,
isto é, iluminá-la ou ser por ela iluminado. Guardar uma coisa é vigiá-la, isto
é, fazer vigília por ela, isto é, velar por ela, isto é, estar acordado por
ela, isto é, estar por ela ou ser por ela”.
A instrução de guardar os
mandamentos de Deus não significa colocar a Bíblia em um cofre e esquecê-la. Os
ensinamentos de Deus devem ser guardados no coração. O que colocamos no coração
não fica esquecido. Guardamos no coração aquilo que é importante para nós, que
ilumina nossa vontade. Guardar alguma coisa importante é uma atitude de zelo.
Guardar não é desprezar algo, mas uma forma de proteger o que tem valor.
Guardamos coisas importantes para que não se percam ou se misturem a outras sem
importância.
A palavra guardar aparece
várias vezes na Bíblia. Timóteo é instruído a guardar os ensinamentos de Deus,
buscar a justiça, a piedade, a fé, o amor, a perseverança e a mansidão. No
lugar do amor ao dinheiro, buscar a piedade e o contentamento, grande fonte de
lucro. Em Deuteronômio 4.40 (ara) encontramos
a seguinte exortação: “Guarda, pois, os seus estatutos e os seus mandamentos
que te ordeno hoje, para que te vá bem a ti e a teus filhos depois de ti e para
que prolongues os dias na terra que o Senhor,
teu Deus, te dá para todo o sempre”. Ainda no livro de Deuteronômio encontramos
uma proposta entre a vida e a morte que instrui a amar o Senhor e guardar seus
mandamentos para viver, mas quem der ouvidos a Deus e não o servir certamente
perecerá (Deuteronômio 30.15-20).
Por isso, quem guarda
realmente os mandamentos de Deus não os esquece. Constantemente lê a Bíblia,
medita nela e fala sobre seus ensinamentos.

it's not despise something, but a way to protect what has value. We keep
important things so they don't get lost or to meld the other.
The
word saving appears several times in the Bible. Timothy is instructed to keep
the teachings of God, seek justice, piety, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.
In place of the love of money, seek mercy and satisfaction, great source of
profit. In Deuteronomy 4.40 (ara)
found the following exhortation: "guard, Yes, its statutes and his
commandments which I command you today, to go well you and your children after
you and you prolong your days in the land that's Lord, your God gives you for ever and ever". Even in
