Aniversário

Lembre-se do seu Criador nos dias da sua
juventude, antes que venham os dias difíceis, e se aproximem os anos em que
você dirá: “Não tenho satisfação neles” (Eclesiastes 12.1).

O dom da vida é um
privilégio que deve ser celebrado. O aniversário é uma data propícia para
pensar no que já passou, reconhecer e agradecer as bênçãos já recebidas. Também
é momento de refletir sobre o que poderá ser feito nos dias que seguirão. É
tempo de (re)dedicar sua vida ao serviço de Deus e orar pedindo que Deus o guie
no ano por vir. É dia de dizer a Deus: “Ensina-nos a contar os nossos dias para
que o nosso coração alcance sabedoria” (Salmo 90.12).
O maior presente que
podemos ganhar neste dia é a presença de Deus na nossa vida e sua instrução.
Para isso, é bom seguir o conselho do autor de Eclesiastes e pensar no nosso
relacionamento com o Senhor (versículo em destaque). Lembre-se que sua vida é
uma obra de Deus. Ele é o seu Criador. Mais do que ser filho de sua mãe e de
seu pai, você é criatura de Deus. Sua vida é um presente dele. A recomendação
do sábio é fazer isso enquanto se tem saúde. Não viva como se Deus não
existisse, como se você estivesse tão ocupado que só sobrará espaço para ele na
sua agenda daqui a muitos anos.
Não se esqueça de Deus em
suas decisões. Para isso, busque conhecê-lo mais e mais. Só lembramos daquilo
que vemos constantemente. Para lembrar de Deus é preciso contato com a Bíblia,
a Palavra de Deus. É preciso falar com ele por meio da oração e prestar atenção
ao que ele lhe diz. Se Deus ocupar o seu pensamento, ele sempre será lembrado.
Quando pensamos no Senhor
sempre, fazemos como o salmista, que pela manhã tinha a mente tomada pela
lembrança do amor de Deus e sua misericórdia. E, quando ia dormir, depois de
receber o cuidado de Deus por mais um dia, agradecia pela sua fidelidade. Como
é bom poder fazer isso: “anunciar de manhã o teu amor leal e de noite a tua
fidelidade”.

Remember
your Creator in the days of your youth, before the difficult days, and approach
the years in which you will say: "I have no satisfaction in them"
(Ecclesiastes 12.1).

The
gift of life is a privilege that should be celebrated. The anniversary is an
auspicious date to think about what has passed, acknowledge and thank the blessings
already received. It is also time to reflect on what can be done in the days
that follow. It's time to (re)dedicate your life to the service of God and pray
asking God to guide you in the year to come. It's telling God: "teach us
to count our days so that our hearts reach wisdom" (Psalm 90.12).
The
greatest gift that we can win on this day is the presence of God in our life
and your statement. For that, it is good to follow the advice of the author of Ecclesiastes
and thinking about our relationship with the Lord (verse headlines). Remember
that your life is a work of God. He is your Creator. More than being the son of
your mother and your father, you're a creature of God. Your life is a gift from
him. The recommendation of the Sage is to do this as it is healthy. Not live as
if God didn't exist, as if you weren't so busy that just left room for it in
your agenda in many years.
Don't
forget to God in their decisions. For that, get to know him more and more. Just
remember what we see constantly. To remember God is need contact with the
Bible, the word of God. You need to talk to him through prayer and pay
attention to what he says. If God take your thought, he will always be
remembered.
When
we think of the Lord always, we do like the psalmist, who in the morning had
the mind taken by souvenir of love of God and your mercy. And, when I went to
sleep, after receiving the care of God for one more day, I would be grateful
for your faithfulness. How nice to be able to do this: "announce in the
morning your loyal love and your faithfulness at night".
