Alegrem-se não porque os
espíritos se submetem a vocês, mas porque seus nomes estão escritos nos céus
(Lucas 10:20).
Lendo as
histórias narradas no Antigo Testamento, muitas pessoas questionam por que Deus
não manifesta mais seu poder daquela forma, com sarças ardentes, mares se
abrindo, vitória nas guerras, sol parado no céu. O texto de hoje lembra um
episódio impressionante: um monte tremendo e fumegando com a presença do Senhor
(Êxodo 19—20). Deus falou audivelmente, mas o povo ficou com medo e não
suportou o espetáculo. “Se Deus falasse assim comigo hoje, eu creria nele”,
podem pensar alguns. Porém, o texto lembra que muitos daqueles que presenciaram
tal manifestação divina rejeitaram o Senhor.
Nenhum
milagre é suficiente para os que não querem crer e ter sua vida transformada
por Jesus. Muitos anseiam ouvir a voz de Deus, mas será que estão dispostos a
obedecer ao que Ele diz?
Todavia, os
que creem sem precisar de milagres espetaculares e ouvem a voz de Deus por meio
de sua Palavra e seu santo Espírito, chegam a um monte inabalável: a cidade de
Deus vivo. Lá não verão apenas manifestações divinas, mas o próprio Deus!
Então, saberão que o maior milagre do todos não tem nada a ver com um show,
sucesso financeiro ou alegria passageira. Mais importante que qualquer coisa é
ser escolhido por Deus para ser seu filho, viver cada dia dependendo dele e
buscando agradá-Lo, e chegar ao céu para, por meio de sua graça, passar a
eternidade com Ele.
Observando
a existência humana desta perspectiva, qualquer coisa material perde seu valor,
até mesmo a vida. Não há como não ser agradecido e adorar a Deus! Ele escolheu
se revelar ao ser humano que criou e buscou-o com amor, apesar de seus
constantes erros e sua absoluta indignidade.
Se você tem
esperado por grandes milagres, saiba que o maior deles é ser aceito por Deus
como filho, por meio de Cristo. E o melhor ainda virá, quando encontrarmos

Rejoice not

Reading the stories narrated in the old testament, many people question
why God manifests not more power that way, with Brambles, burning seas opening,
victory in the wars, Sun stopped in the sky. Today's text resembles a awesome
episode: a tremendous bunch and fuming, with the presence of the Lord (Exodus
19-20). God spoke audibly, but the people got scared and not endured the
spectacle. "If God spoke thus to me today, I believe in it", can

No miracle is sufficient for those who don't want to believe and have
their lives transformed by Jesus. Many crave hearing the voice of God, but who
are willing to obey what He says?
However, those who believe without spectacular miracles and hear the
voice of God through his word and his Holy Spirit, come to a hill unabated: the
city of the living God. There will not only divine manifestations, but God
himself! Then, you will know that the greatest miracle of all has nothing to do
with a show, financial success or fleeting joy. More important than anything is
to be chosen by God to be his son, live each day depending on it and seeking to
please him, and get to heaven for, through his grace, to spend eternity with
him.
Observing human life from this perspective, anything material loses its
value, even life. There is no way not to be grateful and worship God! He chose
to reveal the human being who created and sought him with love, despite his
constant errors and its absolute unworthiness.
If you have waited for great miracles, learn that the biggest of them is
to be accepted by God as son, through Christ. And the best is still to come,

и поклонение Богу! Он решил раскрыть на человека, который создал и искали его с
любовью, несмотря на его постоянной ошибки и ее абсолютной недостоинства.
Если вы ждали великие чудеса, узнав, что самый большой из них принята
Богом как сын, через Иисуса Христа. И лучшее еще впереди, когда мы находим
