Ordem gloriosa / Glorious order

Leitura Bíblica: Filipenses 2:5-11

Deus o exaltou à mais alta posição e lhe deu o nome que está acima de todo nome (Filipenses 2:9).

Colocamos esse título porque a leitura bíblica se inicia com uma ordem. A voz do verbo é imperativa. Não se trata de uma escolha de ser ou não como Cristo.

Todo cidadão que tomar conhecimento dela precisa tomar uma decisão. Seguir Adão ou seguir o segundo Adão Jesus Cristo. Veja diferença: o primeiro desejou ser como Deus (Gênesis 3:5-6); o segundo, mesmo sendo Deus, abriu mão dessa condição. O egoísmo é uma pretensão que nos escraviza. Passamos a vida buscando fama, dinheiro, bens, posições e tudo que este mundo pode oferecer. O fim é sempre inglório.

O apóstolo Paulo estava escrevendo para uma igreja muito amada. Desde o seu início foi um grupo diversificado, mas muito unido. Conhecemos dentre seus membros um oficial romano, uma comerciante muito piedosa chamada Lídia e talvez também uma escrava resgatada de Satanás. Desde o início esse rebanho não abandonou o seu pastor. Foi a única igreja que sempre lhe mandava recursos. Agora essa união corria risco. Estava ameaçada de dividir-se por litígio de duas mulheres: Evódia e Síntique (Filipenses 4:2). Qual seria a solução? Serem como Jesus. E como foi Jesus? Ele veio não só como homem, mas como servo; poderia ter vindo como humano e não ser servo. Mesmo sendo Deus, abriu mão de seus poderes e aceitou a mais humilhante morte que um humano poderia sofrer: a morte de cruz, a pior condenação para um criminoso. Adão não conseguiu cumprir a missão que Deus lhe dera. Ele foi coroa da criação, e seria senhor da criação. Foi? Não, pelo contrário, acabou sendo escravo do diabo, que o desencaminhou.

Voltemos ao título. Ordem gloriosa, pois Cristo, o Mestre iniciou por baixo e terminou na mais exaltada posição dos seres, tanto na terra como no céu. E essa posição foi Deus que lhe outorgou. Ele foi superexaltado, diz o original. E por Deus, não pelos homens. – (MJT)

Glorious order

Bible reading: Philippians 2: 5-11

Allah the exalted to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name (Philippians 2: 9).

We put this title because the biblical reading begins with an order. The voice of the verb is imperative. This is not a choice of whether or not Christ-like.

Every citizen who becomes aware it needs to make a decision. Follow Adam or follow the second Adam Jesus Christ. See the difference: the first wanted to be like God (Genesis 3: 5-6); the second, even though God, gave up the condition. Selfishness is a pretense that enslaves us. We looking for fame, money, goods, and everything that this world has to offer. The order is always kept.

The Apostle Paul was writing to a much loved Church. Since its inception it was a diverse group, but tight-knit. We know one of its members a Roman officer, a very pious merchant named Lydia and perhaps also a slave rescued from Satan. From the outset this flock did not abandon her pastor. It was the only church that always sent. Now this Union ran the risk. Was threatened with litigation by dividing two women: Evodia and Síntique (Philippians 4: 2). What would be the solution? Be like Jesus. And how was Jesus? He came not only as a man, but as a servant; might have come as a human and not a servant. Even though God gave up his powers and accepted the more humiliating death that a human could suffer: the death of the cross, the worst for a criminal conviction. Adam could not fulfill the mission that God had given him. It was the Crown of creation, and is Lord of creation. Was It? No, on the contrary, it ended up being a slave of the devil, that the suggestions.

Let us return to the title. Glorious order, because Christ, the master initiated under and finished in the most exalted position of beings, both on Earth as in heaven. And this position was God that you gave. He was super exalted, says the original. And by God, not by men. -(MJT)
