Os Anjos / The Angels

Leitura Bíblica: Apocalipse 1:1-3

Os anjos não são, todos eles espíritos ministradores enviados para servir aqueles que hão de herdar a salvação? (Hebreus 1:14).

O Apocalipse é uma revelação de Deus por seu Filho, Jesus Cristo, dos acontecimentos no futuro. Cristo promete felicidade aos que ouvem e guardam o que está registrado neste livro. Há anos me animei a ler esta profecia, com seus ensinos à luz da vinda do Senhor Jesus em breve. Hoje ainda me alegro com tudo o que Deus vai fazer, embora não compreenda todas as visões e os tempos previstos. Assim como os que receberam o Apocalipse séculos atrás, devemos aceitar a Palavra de Deus e aplicá-la à nossa situação atual.

É fácil não se notar, na leitura do texto, o elo entre Cristo e seu servo João: um anjo. Como fiel mensageiro de Deus, transmitiu esta mensagem maravilhosa àquele que serviu de escritor humano.

Os anjos são uma classe especial de seres para executar a vontade de Deus na terra. Foram todos criados para servir a Deus, mas muitos se rebelaram juntamente com o diabo, passando a servi-lo. Para estes, está reservado o fogo eterno (Mateus 25:41).

Quanto à nossa revelação com os seres celestiais, Paulo advertiu os cristãos contra a “adoração de anjos” (Colossenses 2:18-19). Já quase ao final do recebimento do Apocalipse, João se impressionou tão profundamente com o cenário exposto que caiu diante do anjo para adorá-lo. Ouviu esta recusa: “Não faça isso! Sou servo como você e seus irmãos, os profetas, e como os que guardam as palavras deste livro. Adore a Deus!” (Apocalipse 22:9).

Deus usou um anjo para transmitir o Apocalipse a João. Hoje, se desejar, também pode usar seus mensageiros para atuar em nossas vidas. Portanto, louvemos a Deus pelos espíritos ministradores que nos servem de alguma maneira, como diz nosso versículo em destaque. Deus deseja inspirar em nós uma vida que se coadune com sua vontade até a vinda de Cristo. Digamos: “Vem, Senhor Jesus!” E, assim como os anjos, façamos o que Ele quer – hoje! – (TL)

Anjos são para nós exemplo de serviço e obediência a Deus.

The Angels

Bible reading: Revelation 1: 1-3

The angels are not all ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? (Heb. 1:14).

The Revelation is a revelation from God through his son, Jesus Christ, the events in the future. Christ promises happiness to those who hear and keep what is recorded in this book. For years I was so excited to read this prophecy with his teachings in the light of the coming of the Lord Jesus soon. Also today I rejoice with all that God will do, although not understand all visions and times. As well as those who have received the Apocalypse centuries ago, we accept God's Word and apply it to our current situation.

It's easy not to notice, in reading the text, the link between Christ and his servant John: an Angel. As faithful Messenger of God has sent this wonderful message to the one that served as a writer.

The angels are a special class of beings to perform God's will on Earth. Were all created to serve God, but many rebelled along with the devil, to serve him. To these, is the eternal fire (Matthew 25: 41).

As to our revelation with the heavenly beings, Paul warned Christians against the "worship of Angels" (Colossians 2:18 -19). Already almost at the end of the receipt of the Apocalypse, John was impressed so deeply with the scenario above that fell before the Angel to worship him. Heard this refusal: "don't do it! I am a servant as you and your brethren the prophets, and as those who keep the words of this book. Worship God! " (Revelation 22: 9).

God used an Angel to convey the Revelation to John. Today, if you wish, you can also use your messengers to act in our lives. So praise God by ministering spirits who serve us in some way, as our featured verse. God want to inspire in us a life that fits with his will until the coming of Christ. Say: "Come, Lord Jesus!" And just like the angels, do what he wants – today! -(TL)
