Uma palavra / A Word

Leitura Bíblica: Lucas 7:1-10

Mas dize uma palavra, e o meu servo será curado (Lucas 7:7b).

 O centurião (oficial romano que comandava cem soldados) teve tremenda fé em Jesus Cristo. Um exemplo para o próprio povo do Senhor Jesus. Ele confiou que apenas uma palavra de Jesus seria suficiente para curar o servo dele. Foi o que aconteceu.

Você crê desta maneira em Jesus Cristo? Para onde você corre quando tem problemas? Em seu dia a dia, você confia a sua vida e as situações que enfrenta – sejam grandes ou pequenas – ao Senhor, ou tenta resolver as coisas do seu jeito? Será que o servo do centurião teria sido curado se aquele homem não tivesse procurado Jesus? É claro que não.

Como é difícil viver uma fé assim, mas quanto mais cedo aprendermos a confiar no Senhor, mais cedo experimentaremos coisas maravilhosas de Deus em nossa vida. Um dos “segredos” é seguir o exemplo do homem que procurou Jesus para que Ele curasse o seu filho. Jesus lhe perguntou se ele cria, e ele respondeu: “Creio, mas me ajude a ter mais fé ainda” (Marcos 9:14-29). Precisamos pedir mais fé, principalmente quando a coisa está complicada. Somos seres humanos e não precisamos ser super-heróis, sem falhas, imbatíveis. Pelo contrário, ainda temos falhas, e isto inclui falta de fé. Mas podemos aprender. Podemos melhorar. E o Senhor também nos ajuda nisto, se formos sinceros diante dele. Eu e você precisamos aprender a ter mais fé em Jesus Cristo, e verdadeiramente confiar os nossos problemas a Ele – é assim que conheceremos cada vez mais a Deus e à sua palavra.

Outra coisa importante é não se achar autossuficiente, dispensando toda e qualquer ajuda, inclusive a de Deus. É preciso lembrar que Ele também usa pessoas para nos ajudar.

Também é preciso lembrar que Deus é Deus em todas as situações e que não existem impossíveis para Ele. Creia de todo o seu coração (sentimento) e de todo o seu entendimento. – (HK)

A Word

Bible reading: Luke 7: 1-10

But say a Word, and my servant will be healed (Luke 7: 7b).

The Centurion (a Roman officer who commanded one hundred soldiers) had tremendous faith in Jesus Christ. An example for the people of the Lord Jesus. He confided that one word would be enough to heal his servant. That's what happened.

Do you believe this way in Jesus Christ? Where do you run when having problems? In their day to day, you trust your life and the situations facing-large or small-to the Lord, or tries to work things out of your way? Will the servant of the Centurion would have been cured if this man had not sought Jesus? Of course not.

How difficult it is to live a faith as well, but the sooner we learn to trust in the Lord, the sooner we will experience the wonderful things of God in our lives. One of the "secrets" is to follow the example of the man who sought Jesus for him to heal his son. Jesus asked him if he creates, and he replied: "I believe, but help me to have more faith yet" (mark 9:14 -29). We need to ask for more faith, especially when the thing is complicated. We are human beings and we don't need to be superheroes, flawless, unbeatable. On the contrary, we still have shortcomings, and this includes lack of faith. But we can learn. We can improve. And you also helps us in this, if we are honest before him. You and I need to learn how to have more faith in Jesus Christ, and truly trust our problems to him – that is how we will increasingly to God and his word.

Another important thing is do not find self-sufficient, so any and all help, including God. We must remember that He also uses people to help us.

You also need to remember that God is God in all situations and that there is no impossible for him. Believe with all your heart (feeling), and with all your mind. -(HK)
