Anuncie! Leitura bíblica: Jeremias 26.1-15 _________________ Pregue a palavra, esteja preparado a tempo e fora de tempo, repreenda, corrija, exorte com toda a paciência e doutrina. [As pessoas] se recusarão a dar ouvidos à verdade (2 Timóteo 4.2 e 4).  _________________

Quando ouvem a mensagem divina, as pessoas podem ter várias reações: algumas gravam apenas o que lhes agrada, outras se concentram em detalhes insignificantes, muitas estão pensando em outras coisas e, infelizmente, são poucas as atentas e dispostas a colocar em prática o que aprenderam. No texto de hoje, Jeremias profetizou que a desgraça estava chegando, mas ainda havia uma saída! Porém, ao invés de corrigir sua conduta, admitindo sua desobediência a Deus, o povo preferiu continuar praticando o mal, desta vez contra o profeta. Concentraram-se em algumas palavras e não ouviram o principal!

Anunciar a Palavra é uma bela tarefa dada por Deus aos seus filhos. Quem não gostaria de ouvir as boas notícias que ela traz e desfrutar vida nova e eterna? Pois é, a mensagem é grandiosa e transformadora, mas muitos não a aceitam. Os cristãos devem desistir então? Não! Sua missão é levar pessoas até Cristo – se elas entregarão suas vidas a ele não é responsabilidade de quem anuncia. Devem fazê-lo da melhor forma possível, quer sejam ouvidos ou não.

Assim como Jeremias, quem serve ao Senhor pode obedecê-lo e mesmo assim sofrer – até ameaças de morte! O importante é ser obediente a Deus, sem se importar tanto com a resposta dos ouvintes. Em João 21.18-22, Pedro descobriu como morreria e quis saber o mesmo sobre outro discípulo. Jesus lhe deixa uma lição que serve a todos nós: importe-se com sua própria obediência e não fique se concentrando nos outros! O resultado do anúncio da Palavra pertence a Deus e não pode determinar o ânimo ou empenho dos que o fazem. O cristão deve anunciar a mensagem divina e suportar os sofrimentos, mesmo que as pessoas se recusem a ouvir a verdade e busquem mestres segundo seus próprios desejos (veja 2 Timóteo 4.4-5). (VWR)

 Obedecer ou não obedecer à ordem de anunciar a Palavra de Deus: eis a questão!

When they hear the message divine, people can have different reactions: some write only what they like, others focus on insignificant details, many are thinking about other things and, unfortunately, there is little attentive and willing to put into practice what they have learned. In today's text, Jeremiah prophesied that Doom was coming, but there was still a way out! However, instead of correcting his conduct, admitting his disobedience to God, the people chose to continue practicing evil, this time against the Prophet. Concentrated in a few words and didn't hear the main!

Announce the word is quite a task given by God to his children. Who wouldn't want to hear the good news that she brings and enjoy new and everlasting life? Yes, the message is great and transformative, but many do not accept it. Christians should quit then? No! Its mission is to lead people to Christ-if they deliver their lives to him is not responsibility of who advertises. Must do so in the best possible way, both are heard or not.

Just as Jeremiah, who serves the Lord can obey him and still suffer-until death threats! The important thing is to be obedient to God, without caring much about the response of listeners. In John 21.18-22, Pedro found out how I would die and wondered the same thing about another disciple. Jesus leaves a lesson that serves us all: care for their own obedience and not focusing on other! The result of the proclamation of the word belongs to God and cannot determine the mood or commitment of those who do. The Christian must announce the divine message and endure the sufferings, even if people refuse to hear the truth and seek masters according to their own desires (See 2 Timothy 4.4-5). (VWR)

Obey or not to obey the order to announce the word of God: that is the question!
