Ester X Ana

Existem
duas personagens femininas no Antigo Testamento de quem gosto
muito. A primeira é Ester, que com sua postura decidida e firme conquista meu
coração. No momento em que a crise está no ponto alto, ela simplesmente diz:
“Se eu tiver que morrer, morrerei” (Ester 4.16). Ou seja, Deus está no controle.
Muitas vezes tenho citado pra mim mesma esse suspiro da alma e Deus tem sido
fiel, mantendo-me viva até agora.
A
outra personagem com quem me identifico é Ana. Depois de anos de crise em
virtude de sua esterilidade, estava deprimida, ansiosa, infeliz, mas continuava
serva. Queria um filho, e derramou diante de Deus sua tristeza pelo sonho não
atendido. Somos assim também: temos sonhos que demoram, desejos que não se
realizam, que nos fazem chorar, nos queixar, questionar.
Não importa se você é homem ou mulher. Se existe um sonho não realizado, o caminho é fazer o que Ana fez: buscar a Deus. É difícil descansar na sabedoria de Deus, mas foi o que aquela mulher fez e por isso me espelho nela. Às vezes nem percebo as bênçãos de Deus ao meu redor porque estou focada apenas em meu sonho. Acho que sou a única que estou sofrendo com meu problema e entro no labirinto da amargura e da autocomiseração. Mas quando derramo meu coração diante do Senhor, ele me ajuda a compreender que seus planos são soberanos e inescrutáveis e vai me dando o coração que quer que eu tenha.
É
somente aos pés do Senhor que vamos conhecê-lo melhor. Ali de joelhos dobrados
e entre lágrimas, podemos e devemos buscar sua face. Minha admiração por Ana
vem também daí: o seu drama não excluiu adoração. Para isso fomos criados.
A
qualquer momento Deus vai me surpreender com suas bênçãos – que podem ser as
que desejamos ou outras, inesperadas. Que assim seja nesse dia, ou nessa
semana, ou nesse ano ou no próximo...

Deus.

There are two characters women in the old testament that I like a lot. The first is Esther, who with
his attitude and steady achievement my heart. At a time when the crisis is at
the high point, she simply says: "if I have to die, I will die"
(Esther 4.16). In other words, God is in control. I have often quoted to myself
that sigh of the soul and God has been faithful, keeping me alive so far.
The other character with whom
I identify is Ana. After years of crisis because of its sterility, was
depressed, anxious, sad, but kept slave. Wanted a son, and poured in front of
God his sadness by dream answered. We are thus well: we have dreams that take,
desires that don't come true, that make us cry, complain, question.
No matter if you're male or
female. If there is an unfulfilled dream, the way is to do what Ana did: seek
God. It's hard to rest in the wisdom of God, but that's what that woman did and
so I looked up to her. Sometimes I don't understand God's blessings around me
because I'm just focused on my dream. I think I'm the only one that I am
suffering with my problem and get into the labyrinth of bitterness and
self-pity. But when I spill my heart before the Lord, he helps me understand
that their plans are sovereign and inscrutable, and giving the heart that wants
me to have.
It is only at the feet of the
Lord that we will get to know you better. There on my knees bent and between
tears, we can and must seek his face. My admiration for Ana also comes from
there: his drama does not exclude worship. For this we were created.
Any time God will surprise me
with his blessings – which may be the we desire or other, unexpected. So be on
this day, or this week or this year or next.

Want your dream comes true, or
not, the best thing to do is to worship God.
