Enquanto não encontrar um lugar para o Senhor... (Salmo 132.5a)

O salmo 132 fala de Davi, rei de Israel, e do seu
desejo de construir um templo para Deus. Quando o povo de Israel caminhou do
Egito para sua terra, tinha uma tenda como santuário e a presença visível de
Deus ali lhe dava segurança. Davi era guerreiro e a segurança era importante
para ele. É fácil entender que ele quisesse um santuário fixo na sua capital.
Mas Davi também amava muito o Senhor, que o livrara de muitas tribulações.
Assim, construir uma casa para ele seria também um ato de gratidão.
Várias palavras deste salmo mostram que ele
profetiza a vinda de Cristo. Assim como Deus se fazia presente na tenda dos
israelitas, Cristo quer agora habitar em nós por meio do seu Espírito – e desse
modo nós mesmos seremos seu santuário e Cristo será nossa segurança nas
dificuldades da vida. Davi ainda não sabia disso, mas você tem ao alcance
aquilo que ele tanto buscava.
Dois exemplos da tranquilidade que a presença de
Deus nos dá na prática: os missionários Paulo e Silas foram açoitados e presos.
As autoridades achavam que fossem perturbadores da ordem. À meia-noite eles
resolveram realizar um culto de louvor a Deus. Assim, o Senhor visitou aquele
recinto. Basta haver ambiente espiritual favorável à presença do Senhor e o
Espírito Santo fará do local sua morada. Leia na Bíblia o resto da história no
capítulo 16 do livro de Atos.
O outro exemplo é de um jogador de futebol cristão
que numa partida sofreu uma dura marcação de um zagueiro adversário. Foi
pancada o jogo inteiro. No final, numa bola dividida, aquele agressor se
machucou e o cristão pediu-lhe desculpas. O zagueiro afirmou numa entrevista
que não dormiu a semana inteira, com remorso. Ele batera em alguém em quem Deus
habitava.
Quem somos nós para sermos moradas do Senhor? Mas
foi para isto que Cristo veio, sabia?

132 speaks of David, King of Israel, and his desire
to build a temple to God. When the people of Israel walked from Egypt to their
land, had a tent as sanctuary and the visible presence of God there gave him
security. David was a warrior and security was important to him. It's easy to
understand that he wanted a fixed shrine in the capital. But David also loved
you very much, Sir, that hadn't many tribulations. So, build a House for him
would also be an act of gratitude.
Several words of this Psalm shows he prophesies the coming of Christ.
Just as God was present in the tent of the Israelites, Christ wants now dwell
in us through his spirit – and thereby ourselves will be your sanctuary and
Christ will be our security in the difficulties of life. David didn't know it,
but you have to reach what he both sought.
Two examples of the presence of God gives us in practice: the
missionaries Paul and Silas were flogged and imprisoned. The authorities
thought they were disturbers of order. At midnight they decided to perform a
worship of praise to God. So, the Lord visited that room. Just be spiritual
environment favourable to the presence of the Lord and the Holy Spirit will
make your site address. Read in the Bible the rest of the story in Chapter 16
of the book of acts.
The other example is a Christian who in a game suffered a harsh marking
an opponent Defender. Was beaten up the whole game. At the end, in a split
ball, one attacker was injured and the Christian asked him. The quarterback
said in an interview that didn't sleep all week, with remorse. He crashed into
someone God dwelt.
Who are we to be addresses of the Lord? But this is why Christ came, you
know?

difficult days will come, but does not represent a threat.
