Este belíssimo texto
sobre o amor escrito pelo apóstolo Paulo no início da era cristã tem sido
inspiração para músicas, sermões de casamento, poemas, etc. Porém, muito acima
de sua beleza literária, está a singularidade do amor aqui descrito não como um
mero sentimento romântico, mas como a expressão mais profunda da essência de
Deus que ele deseja ver espalhada pelo mundo na maneira de as pessoas se
relacionarem. O texto fala de um caminho novo e mais excelente para viver: o
das atitudes que expressam o verdadeiro amor.
Uma pessoa pode ter dons
incríveis, uma fé inabalável ou um desprendimento extremo dos seus bens ou da
própria vida, mas se tais atitudes não brotarem do verdadeiro amor, não terão
valor algum, pois poderão ser apenas resultado de autopromoção ou autopunição
disfarçadas. O novo caminho é o das atitudes cotidianas que revelam a essência
de Deus – Deus é amor! Comunicamos seu amor através das nossas atitudes diante
da vida e do próximo. Por isso, quem realmente ama age com paciência e bondade,
sabe esperar e deseja fazer sempre o bem, abre mão do seu orgulho, não conta
vantagem, não se acha melhor nem pior que ninguém, e nunca deseja o que não é
seu! Quem ama assim busca sempre o bem do outro e celebra a verdade nos
relacionamentos e nas palavras. Tal pessoa não alimenta raiva nem rancor, e não
tolera a injustiça. Quem anda nesse novo caminho do amor aguenta os trancos da
vida sem desistir, mantém a esperança viva, espera e suporta tudo o que vem
pela frente. Essa pessoa vive amando com amor de Deus!
Como seria a vida se
decidíssemos amar assim? Quando ganhamos consciência do quanto Deus nos ama, de
quão grande e imerecido é o seu amor por nós, passamos a amar o próximo da
mesma forma como somos amados por Deus. Esse é o princípio do evangelho de
Cristo. Que você decida andar por esse caminho mais excelente espelhando o amor
de Deus nas suas atitudes!

This
beautiful text about love written by the Apostle Paul at the beginning of the
Christian era has been inspiration for songs, sermons, poems, etc. However, far
above its literary beauty, is the uniqueness of love described here not as a
mere romantic feeling, but as the expression of the deepest essence of God that
he wishes to see spread around the world in the way of people interacting. The
text speaks of a new and more excellent way to live: the attitudes which
express the true love.
A
person can have incredible gifts, an unshakable faith or an extreme detachment
of their goods or of life itself, but if such attitudes don't riot of true
love, will not have any value, as they may be just a result of self-promotion
or self-punishment in disguise. The new path is the everyday attitudes that
reveal the essence of God-God is love! Communicate your love through our
attitudes on life and the next. So, who really love act with patience and
kindness, know how to wait and want to always do the right, gives up his pride,
don't brag, don't think you're better or worse than anyone else, and never want
what is not yours. Who loves always seeks the good of the other and celebrates
the truth in relationships and in the words. Such a person does not feed anger
or rancor, and does not tolerate injustice. Who is this new way of love hold
your leaps of life without giving up, keeps hope alive, and supports everything
that lies ahead. This person lives in love with love of God!
How
would life be if we love like that? When we gain awareness of how much God
loves us, how great and undeserved is his love for us, we love your neighbor in
the same way as we are loved by God. This is the beginning of the Gospel of
Christ. You decide to walk through this excellent way mirroring God's love in
your actions.
