Gratidão

Deveríamos ser sempre
gratos, até porque se ficarmos apenas reclamando não solucionaremos nossos problemas
e dificuldades. No texto de hoje, aprendemos algumas lições sobre gratidão.
Vemos nele um homem que buscava a Deus e que passava por momentos difíceis em
sua vida: chegou bem perto da morte, tinha tristezas e problemas. Creio que
poderíamos também escrever uma lista como a do autor e fazer uma comparação.
Descobriremos que “estamos no mesmo barco”: temos dificuldades também. Às vezes
podemos achar que morreremos devido a tanto sofrimento. Isso faz lembrar a
história dos amigos de Daniel na fornalha ardente (Daniel 3). Eles
passaram por uma situação extremamente difícil, mas Deus os livrou.
Nesses momentos, qual o
caminho a seguir para alcançar contentamento? Guardar ressentimentos, culpar a
Deus e pensar que ele se esqueceu de nós não oferece solução adequada. O
salmista buscou o Senhor e apresentou a ele o seu sofrimento e suas decepções.
Quando fazemos isto, contando a Deus tudo o que estamos passando, descobrimos
que ele já nos tem ajudado e cuidado de nós de muitas maneiras. Podemos
proclamar todas as maravilhas que ele fez e constatar que foi ele quem nos
trouxe até aqui e que por isso estamos cheios de gratidão.
Quando buscamos a Deus,
sabemos que ele já conhece nossa situação. Mesmo assim, creio que não é errado
descrever o nosso sofrimento e dizer a Deus que estamos sobremodo aflitos.
Posso imaginar o salmista dizendo a Deus: “Estou aflito, mas creio!” O que
aprendemos neste salmo é que não podemos deixar de crer que Deus está agindo e
que devemos continuar investindo em nosso relacionamento com ele. Então,
sofrendo ou não, lembremos que a compaixão e a misericórdia de Deus não estão
distantes daqueles que nele confiam.

Gratitude

We
should always be grateful, because if we're going to solve our problems not
just complaining and difficulties. In today's text, we learned some lessons
about gratitude. We see in him a man who sought the God and what was going
through difficult times in your life: you came this close to death, had sorrows
and problems. I think we could also write a list as the author and make a
comparison. We find out that "we are in the same boat: we have
difficulties too. Sometimes we can find that die due to so much suffering. This
is reminiscent of the story of Daniel in the fiery furnace (Daniel 3). They
went through an extremely difficult situation, but God delivered them.
In
these moments, which the way forward to achieve contentment? Hold a grudge,
blame God and think he forgot about us does not appropriate solution. The
psalmist sought the Lord and presented him their suffering and their
disappointments. When we do this, telling God everything we're going through,
we found that it has helped us and watch us in many ways. We can proclaim the
wonders he's done and say that he's the one who got us here and that's why we
are full of gratitude.
When
we seek God, we know that he knows our situation. Even so, I think it's not
wrong to describe our suffering and tell God that we are particularly
afflicted. I can imagine the psalmist saying to God: "I'm upset, but I
believe!" What we learned in this Psalm is that we must believe that God
is acting and that we must continue to invest in our relationship with him. So,
in pain or not, let us remember that compassion and mercy of God are not far
from those who trust in him.

The privilege to count on the help of God is already cause for
gratitude.
