Nada faltou

As roupas de vocês não se gastaram e os seus pés não incharam
durante esses quarenta anos (Deuteronômio 8.4).

Quem já leu e conhece a história do povo de Israel, desde a sua saída do Egito até a
conquista da Terra Prometida, sabe como Deus cuidou do seu povo. É verdade
também que este mesmo povo reclamava e se rebelava por qualquer coisa, mas mesmo
assim Deus, com sua grande paciência e misericórdia, não deixou que nada
faltasse aos israelitas. No verso em destaque lemos que nem as roupas se
gastaram. Você consegue imaginar isto? Quarenta anos no deserto e as roupas não
se corroeram e nem os pés incharam no calorão do deserto! Hoje em dia, muitas
pessoas sofrem com o calor, pois suas pernas e pés ficam inchados. Isto
acontece comigo. Mas o povo de Israel não enfrentou este problema. Como Deus
cuidou maravilhosamente bem deles. O texto de hoje confirma que durante
quarenta anos nada faltou a Israel. É verdade que não tiveram tudo o que
queriam, mas do básico nada faltou.
Como tem
sido a sua vida? Você acha que algo lhe tem faltado? Você costuma reclamar por
não ter algumas coisas (talvez supérfluas)? Como você vê o cuidado de Deus em
sua vida? Espero que você não seja como o povo de Israel foi, sempre murmurando
e se voltando contra Deus quando as coisas não iam como eles queriam. Este é o
grande perigo que cada um de nós corre: a insatisfação. Ela torna a vida mais
difícil, chata e cansativa. Mas quando prestamos atenção aos cuidados de Deus
conosco, algumas vezes nos mínimos detalhes, a gente se alegra, se anima,
agradece a Deus por tudo e isto torna a nossa vida mais leve e assim também
fica mais fácil vencer as batalhas do dia a dia. Minha esposa e eu não temos
tudo o que gostaríamos de ter, mas no dia a dia temos experimentado o cuidado e
suprimento de Deus em nossas vidas e ministério. É muito bom depender de Deus.

conquest of the promised land, you know how God took care of its people. It is

or feet swelled in the heat of the desert. Today, many people suffer from the

How's
your life? Do you think something has been missing? Do you often complain about
not having a few things (maybe superfluous)? How do you see the care of God in
your life? I hope you're not like the people of Israel was, always murmuring
and turning against God when things didn't go as they wanted. This is the great
danger that each one of us runs: dissatisfaction. She makes life more
difficult, boring and tiring. But when you pay attention to the care of God
with us, sometimes in excruciating detail, the people rejoice, cheer up, thanks
God for everything and this makes our lives lighter and thus also becomes
easier to win the battles of the day my wife and I have everything we would
like to have, but every day we have experienced the care and supply of God in
our lives and Ministry. It's really good to depend on God.
